"You ca back sooner than I expected," the Dragon Empress said as she sat on her throne and looked at the two humans in front of her.
"I got the approval of all ten of them," Daniel said in an indifferent tone.
"Hahaha, that’s a good joke. Don’t tell you missed and wanted to see again? Tsk tsk, it seems your little lover isn’t that loyal after all," she laughed loudly, glanced at Evangelin, and spoke with sarcasm.
A destructive aura burst out from Evangelin and forced the Dragon Empress into silence. This foolish woman was becoming more shaless and bolder day by day.
Maybe she needed to teach her a lesson?
"I’m not joking. I really got their approval," Daniel quickly said when he saw Evangelin’s expression becoming more dangerous.
"..."
Nyxara didn’t know what to say and completely fell silent. It was so hard to believe that she would rather not believe it.
This boy really managed to convince those annoying and stubborn old n in less than a day? Was that even possible? She didn’t even think he could do it within the seven-day deadline.
She had planned that after the seven days ended, Evangelin would start begging her for help so she could make this woman owe her a favor.
But this human actually did it?
"How did you convince them?" Nyxara asked for the first ti in a serious and cold tone.
"I just gave them what they wanted." Daniel smiled without explaining the details and deliberately kept it vague.
"They told to tell you to open the doors of the trial," he then added.
"Ah, I guess there’s no other choice." The Dragon Empress stood up and in the next mont appeared in front of them, signaling for them to follow her.
"Anyway, where is Finn?"
"With a dragon. You’ll see him again soon, don’t worry," Nyxara answered indifferently and waved her hand.
A portal opened in front of them and she calmly stepped inside. Daniel and Evangelin entered the portal one after another. For a mont, the world around them beca completely dark, and the next mont they found themselves inside a ruined and abandoned valley.
"So the Ancient Trial is located here." Evangelin looked around and seed to recognize the place.
"That’s right. The trial was created by the goddess herself, so naturally it is located in the real Dragon Valley," the Dragon Empress replied.
At the lowest point of the valley, there were two doors. Two doors that looked extrely ancient and old, and above them was a dragon skull.
Nyxara landed in front of the doors, and the two of them followed and landed beside her.
"This is the entrance to the Ancient Trial," she explained and lightly touched one of the doors.
Daniel looked at the extrely ancient doors. He felt that just looking at them made his blood start to boil.
"To open the doors, we need the help of the ten Elders, so we have to wait for them to arrive," Nyxara looked at the two of them and added.
"Can I ask why the Sixth Elder gave us these robes?" Daniel asked.
"So that old woman gave you those robes? Well, I think it’s because they want to bring their own children here too and don’t want them to find out that you are humans."
"Bring their children here? They’re going to participate too?" Daniel asked curiously.
"That’s right. Opening the trial doors requires a huge amount of power and energy each ti. In so generations we open it, and in so we don’t. I guess they want to use this opportunity and let their descendants enter as well."
"I see."
"It won’t cause any problems in the process?" Evangelin suddenly asked.
"It won’t cause any problems. Whenever the trial doors are opened, as many as they want can enter. But only those who are approved by the goddess herself can undergo the trial," Nyxara replied.
"So even if he enters, if the goddess doesn’t approve him, it’s useless."
"That’s right."
"There shouldn’t be any problem." Daniel nodded. He wasn’t worried at all. For so reason, he felt that there was no need to worry.
While they were talking, the Elders also arrived. All ten Elders ca, each accompanied by one of their children, except for the First Elder, who had no child.
"I didn’t think you would be willing to help him," the Dragon Empress looked at them and said coldly.
"Haha, after all, Your Majesty, we old n also have to show our kindness from ti to ti," the First Elder laughed.
Nyxara’s face showed a bit of shock. This old man knows how to speak like that too? This was the first ti she had seen it.
"Let’s not waste ti and open the doors," the Tenth Elder added and stepped forward first.
The other Elders stood beside him. All of them were in their true forms. The Empress also transford into her true form and stood next to them.
The next mont, they opened their mouths and an enormous amount of flas shot toward the trial doors, as if they were attacking them with the intention of destroying them.
The nine young dragons who were there watched the scene with excitent. This was a scene they could only witness once in their lifeti.
A scene where all the highest authorities of Dragon Valley used their power together.
"Even though I’ve experienced it once, the power of their flas is truly destructive," Daniel murmured as he watched them.
He also glanced briefly at the nine young dragons and recognized two familiar faces among them—Rhaenyra and Vermyros.
He didn’t expect to see them again so soon. Both of them looked completely fine now, especially Vermyros, who didn’t look at all like soone whose bones had been crushed by him just a few hours ago.
"Their flas are very different from ordinary fire. They use flas that represent the peak concept of fire, stronger than any other fire in this world," Evangelin explained.
"The flas of the first generation of dragons could even burn gods," she added an important point.
’Does that an there’s a way for to use that fire?’ Daniel muttered to himself excitedly. He also rembered one of the ancient techniques he had taken from the Library of Eternity.
The technique he obtained on the second floor of the Church of Eternity, a technique that required four Heavenly Flas to perform. Obtaining four Heavenly Flas was not easy at all.
First of all, he had no idea where he was even supposed to look for the Heavenly Flas. They were so valuable that anyone who possessed them would hide them.
Wherever there was even a rumor about them or a sign that they might be there, the most powerful Awakened in the world would rush to that place to obtain them. They would fight over them, and it could even escalate into violent conflicts.
Because of that, he doubted it was even possible to obtain them. That was why, if he wanted to use that technique, he had no choice but to look for a shortcut.
Maybe he could use dragon fire instead of those four Heavenly Flas.
Of course, all of that depended on whether he could use dragon fire in the first place.
"It’s finally open," Nyxara suddenly said loudly, and all of them stopped attacking the doors.
The next mont, the ancient doors slowly opened.
