"Do you want to know what my source for the Moon Law is?" Varnos said with a smile while his wounds were slowly healing.
"Is my question that obvious?" Daniel laughed out loud and nodded as confirmation.
He himself didn’t have any source for the Moon Law and, like most guild mbers, used the actual moon itself as his source, but this thod had its limitations.
For example, he couldn’t use the power of the Moon Law during the dayti.
In the past, he never cared enough to look for another source, because the Moon Law had never been a core part of his power anyway, it was mostly just a side support.
He had always relied on the Law of Death and Eternity, and now with the Law of Destruction added, that one would probably beco one of his main powers sooner or later too.
But today, during this practice battle, after seeing how the guild leader used the Moon Law, his opinion shifted a little. The Moon Law could actually be useful.
"I have a Spiritual Moon inside my Spiritual Ocean," Varnos answered without any hesitation or delay.
"A Spiritual Moon?"
"That’s right, a Spiritual Moon. It’s a miniature version of the real moon, the sa moon you see in the sky at night. Actually, this was my father’s idea. We used a set of special treasures that carry the power of the Law of Creation to build such a moon inside our Spiritual Ocean and use it as a source."
"Of course, you have to keep in mind that it’s not an unlimited source. For the Spiritual Moon to function as a source, it needs to absorb the essence and energy of the real moon, and there are limits to that," Varnos added.
"I guess those limits depend on the quality and size of this miniature moon? Of course, you can make it denser and absorb even more energy with a smaller size," Daniel thought for a mont and then said.
"Exactly. For , it can hold energy equivalent to a full moon. That ans for a full month, I can use the Moon Law whenever I want," the guild leader nodded.
"Would it be possible for you to give the thod to create it?"
"Of course. Actually, the thod is in the guild library inside the Celestial Domain, and all mbers have access to it," Varnos replied.
"The guild library? I’ve never been there." Daniel realized, now that he thought about it, he hadn’t really explored the guild zone in the Central Plains much.
Except for that one ti, the very first ti he went there, Lana had only shown him around a limited area.
"If you want the creation thod, you’ll have to go there."
"Ah, I guess I won’t be able to for a while." He sighed and put the matter aside for now. He had a lot of things to do and doubted he could return to the Central Plains anyti soon.
Not to ntion he still had to collect the remaining fragnts, he also needed to challenge the fourth floor of the tower, and after that he had so business in this world too.

"Are you mocking ?" Varnos raised an eyebrow.
"Of course not. I was expecting you to lose much more easily. No insult intended."
"I don’t know whether to laugh or cry," the guild leader started laughing hard.
The fact that these words were coming from a boy who wasn’t even twenty yet made everything even worse.
Still, he wasn’t angry or upset. On the contrary, he was happy, because their guild now had a powerhouse at the very ceiling of the country’s power level.
He wanted to say sothing when suddenly Daniel noticed his expression change.

"Lana is back, and it seems she wants to see us," monts later Varnos turned to him and said.
Daniel nodded, and both of them returned to the guild leader’s office. Lana was already there waiting for them, sitting on a chair. As always, she didn’t look tired at all, on the contrary, she seed full of energy.
’She hates office work and being in charge even more than I thought,’ Daniel secretly laughed inside but didn’t show anything on his face.
"You finally ca back from the Celestial Domain?" After greeting her father, Lana looked at him and said.
"For now, yes."
"For now? Don’t tell you’re planning to go back again so soon? Don’t you want to rest even a little?"
"I do. I’ll rest a bit before going back," Daniel replied. In the past few months he had really been too busy and had dealt with one headache after another.
He genuinely needed rest.
"Oh my God! You’ve decided to rest? Why do I feel like I’ve heard this sentence so many tis before? And every single ti it was a lie?" Lana said with heavy sarcasm.
She was genuinely worried about Daniel from the bottom of her heart. This guy never explained anything, but it was obvious he was under a ton of pressure. She didn’t want sothing bad to happen to him because of all this.
Daniel just shrugged. Even though he really did want to rest, sothing unexpected could always co up, so he couldn’t make any promises.
"Anyway, what did you want to talk to us about?" Varnos, who had sat down in his chair, turned to his daughter and asked.
Lana didn’t answer right away. It seed she wasn’t sure whether she should say it or not. It wasn’t a big deal, but since her father was kind of involved, it could cause trouble.
"Just say it. What’s going on?"
"Well... tomorrow is the Goblin Guild’s successor announcent ceremony, and it seems we’re still invited, even after what you did." She finally said it, her eyes locked on her father’s expression.
Varnos’s face didn’t show much change, but in his eyes surged an endless, boundless rage, a rage that seed ready to swallow and burn everything.
A rage that could burn not only its target but its host as well.
Lana noticed it. Her eyes filled with worry.
"Father? Are you okay? Ah! This is exactly what I was afraid of!"
Varnos said nothing. It looked like he was trying to calm himself down. But was calming down easy? This was about the murderers of the love of his life.
They were still invited. This was an insult. The Goblin Guild and that bastard leader of theirs had invited them even after what he did last month.
What did this an? Did they want to humiliate him? Or maybe they had even worse plans for him?
Still, he couldn’t not go. He had to go! But if he went, he definitely wouldn’t be able to control himself and would probably spill blood.
His eyes turned a little red.
Lana’s worry grew. She stood up and walked toward her father to at least hug him and calm him down a bit.
But before she could reach him, suddenly a hand was placed on Varnos’s shoulder. From that hand, a surge of lightning flowed into his body and shocked him abruptly.
"Feeling better now?" Daniel asked in a calm tone while staring at him with cold eyes.
