"So, you're the one who fully comprehended the Transcendent Scripture," the man said, glancing at Daniel.
It felt like his eyes were staring right through Daniel's soul and body, as if nothing about him was hidden. Daniel even felt like he was standing naked in front of this man.
Who is this guy? There was no aura coming from him, and his presence was too calm… but to Daniel, he felt like a boundless ocean that could turn violent at any second.
"Oh? An otherworldly climber, huh? I wasn't expecting that." Surprise flickered in the man's eyes for a brief mont before vanishing.
"Greetings, senior. I'm Daniel," Daniel gave a slight bow out of respect. He didn't know who this man was, but the fact that he could enter his spiritual sea so easily was proof of his strength.
"No need for that. I'm not anyone special. Just the person who created the Transcendent Scripture."
Daniel stared at him in shock, not sure how to react. The Transcendent Scripture belonged to the man in front of him?
According to what Atlas had told him, fully comprehending the Transcendent Scripture was a requirent to join the Magic Tower. Just how important did soone have to be for their creation to beco a gatekeeping test?
Daniel had many questions, but he knew this wasn't the ti for all of them. Instead, he chose to ask the most important one.
"May I ask why you're here, senior?"
"Oh, right—I almost forgot, haha. Well, reaching the final level of comprehension isn't sothing just anyone can do. Including you, only five people have managed it." The man in the purple robe replied.
Each tablet had its own chanics. First, the ti limit. Second, each person could only attempt to comprehend a golden scripture once in their lifeti.
Daniel stayed quiet and waited for the explanation.
"The Transcendent Harmony Technique is my greatest creation. It allows you to build a Spiritual Palace. A Spiritual Palace combines all the benefits of mana rings, a mana core, and a spiritual sea."
Daniel raised an eyebrow, unsure what to say. This technique... was completely useless.
At least, for him. He already had all three features. But he could imagine how shocking this would be for the rest of the world.
"I expected you to be more amazed. When I told the other four, they couldn't even believe it." The man began to suspect sothing was off with this boy.
Where was the excitent and awe? Shouldn't he be overjoyed to receive such a heavenly technique?
"Ah, sorry. I was just too shocked to say anything," Daniel gave a simple excuse.
He didn't want to say the technique was nearly useless to him. It was better to keep the features of his class hidden.
"The you're seeing now is just a fragnt of awareness placed inside the tablet. You could say it's one of the chanisms of the tablets. My main role is to explain and teach the technique."
Then he lifted his finger and pressed it gently to Daniel's forehead. Instantly, a flood of information poured into Daniel's mind.
And this ti, Daniel was truly shocked. The technique wasn't just about creating a Spiritual Palace. The true nature of a Spiritual Palace was far more than the man had explained.
A Spiritual Palace could even house Sources of Higher Laws. That was way beyond Daniel's expectations.
Law sources were complex things. Elental sources weren't too bad—like his Ragzar ring, which helped him use fire.
But Law sources were different. Having too many of them could cause the body to collapse and explode. And Higher Laws were even stricter.
A person could only have one Higher Law source and borrow its power. More than that, and the body would be destroyed instantly.
But this technique allowed for the fusion of all sources—normal or higher—into a single one, allowing the user to utilize all their powers.
What were sources? Any item that could grant a user the power of elents or laws was called a source. Like his Ragzar ring.
And the more soone understood an elent or law, the stronger the power they could draw from its source.
In other words, no limits. That's what truly amazed Daniel. Didn't this an he could potentially comprehend all seven Higher Laws and use them?
"Haha, looks like you finally realized the value of the Transcendent Scripture," the man said with a smug smile, seeing Daniel's stunned expression.
"Thanks a lot for the explanation, elder. Just one question—can't we obtain the tree's abilities that healers have?" Daniel bowed slightly in gratitude. The creator of the Transcendent Harmony technique truly deserved praise and reverence.
He could understand that if the world ever found out about this technique, there would probably be multiple world wars breaking out in the Celestial Domain.
But fortunately, since only four others besides him knew about it, there was no need to worry for now.
"Well, no. The tree's chanism is completely different, and it requires your body to be capable of forming a tree on its own. Unfortunately, I've researched it a lot, but I failed to make it happen." The man sighed—this was one of his few regrets.
"So there's no way at all?"
"It can't be said for sure. It requires the sap of the World Tree, but the elves guard it extrely tightly. Even I couldn't get access to it."
"That's everything you needed to know, kid. I hope you'll co et my real body once you reach higher ranks." The man's body slowly started to fade, but he gave Daniel one last look.
He hadn't shown it, but even he was shocked by how fast Daniel had comprehended the scripture.
The tablet had a six-hour ti limit. Each of the other four had taken over five hours and fifty minutes. But this boy? Not even a single hour had passed.
Such talent was beyond understanding. He couldn't help but wonder… would another monster like that woman appear again?
'Ah… the future will be chaotic,' he thought, as his body dissolved and his awareness faded. At the sa ti, the tablet in front of Daniel cracked and shattered.
