Chapter 154: Heat

Cao Ming said without any further intentions of sowing discord again like he usually does. This actually surprised many but they accepted it anyway.
After Sheng Yan’s group also introduced themselves, Jiang Su used the randomizer again to pick which group to perform.
And the results? It was Sheng Yan’s group to be the first perforr on this day.
The stage’s light went off for a few seconds before a ray of light erged.
The whole place felt the increasing atmosphere around them. This made so of the trainees sweat even though this heat is made by the ntal power. Fire also begins to lit up with every corner around the stage and even beside their seats. So ford into a small ball of fire and it floated around making the whole venue like a place where countless tiny lanterns can be seen flying at night.
A large circle of fire also appeared on the stage with Sheng Yan standing in the middle of the spotlight while the other mbers were behind him under the dark side.

Their performance is entitled ’Heat’ that focuses on unleashing the fire that grows inside them. The song talks about a man slowly discovering a new side of himself. A hidden danger that had been hiding inside.

Will it devore forever?" Chen Jiu also sang his line while showing his quick movent execution.
As the increasing heat intensified, the notes of the song also went higher and higher, changing into different tones that every mber perford.

Sheng Yan was actually not confident in himself in this round. He was used to doing a slower and gradual way of expressing himself. He always adheres peace and tranquility inside him.
Other trainees he had been friends with even jokingly said why did his ntality look like an old man thriving for a peace of mind? When most of the individuals with the age around him seek wild and free.

Sheng Yan didn’t even know whether to envy those who are at the top or the bottom. The higher ones will be noticed and admired by many while the bottom will be reminded again and again— but at least it was rembered.
While he was just an average. Can always be ignored, can always be forgotten.
Society taught him that no matter if he tries to achieve higher or try to rebel, he will never be noticed.
Thus in the end, Sheng Yan beca tired and just wanted a peace of mind for himself.
As long as he would not think about thos past, as long as nobody will see him, his life can be just peaceful. At least he will no longer be tied with anxiety for being in the spotlight, right?
It’s better to be just a passerby than to be rembered but you will always have to be vigilant or their eyes will devore you.

The ball of fire slowly goes down and floats halfway, then it starts to circle around them inside the circle of fire.
