Chapter 165: Close
While He Li’s team starts arranging so matters to fix the situation, on the other hand, the trainees were advised to take a rest after the incident. Cao Ming was also called by the staff for his family matter and others could only go to their friend’s room in order to discuss what happened.
As usual, He Yan and Shen Lou went to Qin An’s room but to their surprise, Han Suwen ca too and so as the others making the room suddenly beca crowded.
Since there are too many, so could only sit down on the floor while others sit on the trainees bed. At first, there was no one who dared to sit on Qin An’s, even He Yan did not because he knew that the young man isn’t fond of getting too close.
It was not until Han Suwen walked towards his bed and sat beside Qin An directly that the crowd was stunned. What was even more surprising was Qin An had no reaction!
He didn’t frown nor even comnt at Han Suwen’s actions!
"!!!"
He Yan’s mouth ford an 0 to express his shock and envy imdiately flashed when he saw how the young man was able to get close to his friend!
He began regretting that he was not in the sa group as him! If only they were grouped together, he can definitely take that as an opportunity! Or even having Qin An as his partner!
He Yan pouted and looked at Han Suwen with an aggrieved glare. He also wants to sit beside his friend! But Qin An was unfortunately sitting on the edge so he could not sit on the other side, which ant only Han Suwen could sit beside the young man.
Xing Ren looked at the childish expression on his face and shook his head lightly.
Unlike others, he was not shocked that Han Suwen could get close to the young man easily. During the rest of the period after both were enlightened, the two beca eager to practice a lot together.
After the two had a private conversation that they didn’t know, Qin An was willing to let Han Suwen get close to him which of course surprised them. It was not actually easy.
Qin An at first was always stiff. His back was straight and tense as if what was coming to him was an enemy and not just a colleague.
He would also sotis flinch every ti Han Suwen would touch him even if it was light. However, even with these subconscious reactions, Qin An forces himself not to dodge or do unnecessary things.
He would just stay silent and sigh to calm himself. In order to relax himself, the two would always go together— in practice, taking breaks and eating. They’ll stay close even if they don’t have physical contact but just enough to be close in the range wherein others would not step in before.
Gradually, Qin An let his guard down, especially that Han Suwen was just very casual. Because they also have the sa personality wherein they are both indifferent, Han Suwen wouldn’t even look too purposeful on getting close to him. He will just stay silent— and that is what Qin An needs to relax himself.
Of course it was also just Han Suwen himself who took initiative to touch or get close, Qin An was never like that.
Anyway, if Qin An has these changes, Han Suwen has too.
Xing Ren didn’t actually notice this from the start if it weren’t for so circumstances back then.
It wasn’t just Qin An who’s slowly losing himself but also Han Suwen... yet in such an unexpected way.
If Qin An was willing to let anyone get close to him, Han Suwen has this change that actually suits him. And that is—
"I still can’t believe what just happened. Senior— no, wait. I shouldn’t call him that anymore. That Bai Ling actually deceived everyone!"
Xing Ren’s thoughts were interrupted when the trainees started talking.
"That’s true. We were so fooled! Not only was he such a two-faced white lotus but he was even a murderer! How could he steal the real Bai Yue’s life just for his greed? Tsk!" The trainee who was in Bai Ling’s group rubbed his shoulders as if he was getting a goosebump. He turned to the other trainee who was Bai Ling’s forr partner in their group.
"You were his partner back then. How are you feeling?"
The trainee didn’t say anything but from the disgust on his face, it looks like until now, he cannot move on. Just by the thought of how he felt boastful on himself when they were paired. He even held the latter’s hand and thought everyone would envy him! Now he really wants to wash his hands in boiling water so the filth would disappear on his!
He actually took the hands of a murderer! How disgusting!
The trainee couldn’t get this feeling inside him and wanted to vent his frustration. He happened to look at Han Suwen and Qin an on the side and couldn’t help himself but say sothing.
"This wouldn’t even happen if soone just took his position in the group early on. After all, a leader is still a leader, why can’t he even say sothing and prevent that stuff," he bitterly said and nodded when he realized sothing. "Oh, I forgot that he was the one who suggested that pairing parts of the performance, how ironic."
"...." The atmosphere decreased with those words. Awkward silence engulfed the room and so of them looked at Han Suwen secretly of how he reacted to this.
The crowd actually expected that the latter wouldn’t even react nor respond to his provocation because he was never the person who even speaks for himself.
But as Xing Ren said earlier, it was not just Qin An who changed.
"Wasn’t it you who wanted Bai Ling as your partner? Even if we tried to change, you don’t want to agree, for what? Don’t you know it yourself?" Han Suwen retorted directly.
The trainee’s face flush red in embarrassnt. "B-But if it weren’t for your idea to take pairs—"
"Oh," Han Suwen raised his brow. "Even if I did not, will you not take your chance to get close to him?"
Of course not, all of them knew this.
Bai Ling was such an idol that not just everyone admires but there are also many who adore him— wanting another purpose. If this wouldn’t happen nor Han Suwen suggested, what’s make the difference when the trainees would really take their chance to get close to him?
And in the first place, they were even thankful that that happened.
