"Are your words reliable, Marshal?" Xi Qianchen asked without even concealing his doubts after He Li told them the story. Even his family’s expression had a rare crack on their faces as they obviously could not believe his words.

"It’s true." He Li confird and only those two words convinced them that what he was saying was the truth.

Xi Qianchen exhales a disbelieving sigh and leans his back on the chair. "So that’s why you found out about the Old Admiral Sheng’s cri? Through him and Fu Minghao?"

"Yes."

"Then are you sure that bringing him here would make his situation better?" He Zhen asked but for such an unexpected response, they actually saw a bit of hesitation on He Li’s face.

He Li’s family couldn’t help but look at each other, noticing the surprise on their eyes. This is such a rare reaction from him. If He Li himself wasn’t even that sure that the old tree can save the young man, how could he take the risk and decide to bring him here even knowing that it will such possibly endanger his position as the Marshal?

The young man is looking at the old tree outside the glass room while He Li is standing on the side and explaining patiently in a low voice. What actually made Hou Nian notice was the look on her son’s eyes. Even if he was looking normal, she observed the silent gaze he put towards the young man.

It has a faint complex and a bit of hesitation that she didn’t know about. This made her tilt her head slightly.

What she’s witnessing was really a rare occurance from her reliable son. He seed to have sothing to say but didn’t know how to express which was not really his attitude at all. Since when did He Li look troubled for sothing in his thoughts? He Li is definitely silent but will always voice out his opinions.

A look of interest flashed on her eyes.

His fingers ford a strange formation and a familiar golden light appeared. Two small magic circles appeared floating in the air and the people inside the room suddenly felt an unfamiliar energy surrounding them.

It was not the usual gentle spiritual energy that they felt whenever Qin An treated them nor the energy he uses when fighting, rather it feels sothing majestic that they couldn’t help but hold their breath slightly.

A light escaped from both magic circles and it floated on Shen Lou and Su Jinxi’s eye level.

"Bear with it," Qin An warned them before letting the light enter their eyes.

As soon as they both felt the energy penetrating their eyes, Shen Lou and Su Jinxi felt the burning sensation inside them.

It was not burning like fire like what Shen Lou felt when a dark elent tried to steal his body but an energy that felt very intimidating and authoritative.

A coercion from sothing they didn’t know was like soone who’s very powerful is placing their hands on their eyes and transferring sothing holy and special inside them.
