Chapter 85: Weird
The mont so trainees bent down and groaned in pain, the joyful atmosphere seed to freeze and everyone finally felt the sudden creep sent shivers down their spine.
Only did they notice how the atmosphere changes. The air decreased and for so reasons, not only did they feel colder but this made them feel unknowingly dangerous.
"...."
And this is not the end.
Everyone stops moving and looks at the trainees falling one by one in horror. It was only not until a trainee worriedly ran towards a fallen trainee and shouted its na that everyone ca back to their senses.
"!!!"
The elimination round abruptly stopped and the scene quickly beca a ss.
"What’s the matter?!" Jiang Su, who was closer to the trainees on the stage, ran fast to a trainee. However, his pupils shrink in horror when he finally notices what is happening.
He nervously looked at the other trainees on the side and was even more bewildered when he saw they were in the sa situation.
His expression turns solemn as he sharply glances at the flying cara.
"Call the dics! These trainees are rioting!"
"!!!" That news even made the crowd panic.
Qian Jin who was at the back gasp and he quickly shouted.
"Quickly help them!"
"Yes!" As the staff run to the stage, Qian Jin grabs his hair in extre anxiety and frustration. He felt that this year’s competition is really stressing him more than the previous years!
Incidents ca again and again! What the heck is happening?!

Obviously after the riot ca, the event failed and the shooting couldn’t continue anymore. The dic imdiately started assisting the fallen trainees to the clinic and due to their large number that they couldn’t accommodate imdiately, Qian Jin could only ask for He Yan’s family help again for more manpower. As for the ranking event, the Director has no choice about it even if the announcent will be delayed anymore and the people outside will wonder.
What was the problem was there wasn’t enough that had been shot. They could not upload the episode for the ranking assessnt so they could only helplessly accept this failure. But Qian Jin doesn’t want to think about this and only wants for the safety of the young n.
Because this matter is too difficult, he could only contact the higher-ups for consultation. Several minutes later, Chen Jiang ca together with the other higher-ups.
They look worried at the trainees inside.
"What happened?" Chen Jiang asked with a frown on his face. Qian Jin sighs. He actually didn’t know the real reason but according to their mood earlier, he could only speculate and answer them.
"They seem unable to accept failure."
One of the higher-up’s forehead creased. "Just this? Are youngsters nowadays like this?"
That’s right. Even a kid can accept the existence of Zergs which are more terrifying than monsters in fairy tales. Why do they seem unable to accept failures like this? If this can make them breakdowns, what about in the future? How can they accept it?
"I think there’s more than this." Lin Yu has an expression of being solemn and a faint confusion. "The situation was confusing earlier. One or two trainees can probably have breakdowns but there’s too many. They even fell at the sa ti as if..." Lin Yu was collecting his thoughts into words but Xu Xinyi finished it off.
"They look infected by a virus."
"...?!" Everyone looked at her in disbelief.
"Isn’t it?" Xu Xinyi raises her brow at them. "There were riots at the sa ti and so trainees were even standing together. It does look like they were infected earlier and the virus ran too fast."
"But that’s impossible." Qian Jin couldn’t help but intervene. "Riots can indeed influence other ntal pollution but what happened earlier was too fast."
"I know. What I said was just a little speculation. It can be either true or not."
Pei Roujin’s eyes flash. "It sounds impossible... but it does look like it."
Even Pei Roujin agrees with Xu Xinyi so they fall into silence. This situation was really too weird. It happened so fast that they didn’t expect any of this.
"Let’s just wait for the doctor." Chen Jiang rubs his aching temples.
Everyone nodded and they also inford other trainees to go back to their room so as to leave space and for other possible influences from riots. Although everyone looked worried, they could only turn their backs and walk at a heavy pace.
But instead of going back to their rooms, they went straight to the living area to have a conversation.
"Did anyone notice anything weird earlier?" Different from just the usual young-master like Shen Lou, his temperant totally changed at this mont. If he was just like an extraordinary youth in the past, now he is more calm and serious like a man with experience. Even He Yan didn’t smile like the usual for he was also like him, both grew from a military family.
"What kind of weird, Brother Shen?" Xing Ren asked.
"Even if it sounds impossible, what the teachers said had a point. It’s too weird. I think sothing really did happen." Everyone agrees to his point but they also fall into confusion. They don’t have any idea about the cause for this sudden ss.
They can’t figure out anything.
"But instead of thinking about that, what I’m worried about is the others." He Yan said after a mont of silence. "A riot... how painful it is."
"..." Everyone was silent. After all, everyone experienced it too. That pain had tornted them enough ever since they were born.
"What should they face right now was supposed to be just the results today, but this added up."
They look at each other. The forr joy that so of them felt when their nas were announced as saved dissipated by this incident. Who would be happy when your friend is suffering? They were supposed to celebrate and comfort each other. They were supposed to be looking forward to their future as an idol, but seeing others experiencing the riot, that seems to burst the bubble.
Riots.
What if they have riots in the future? What is the end waiting for them? Do they have to carry the pain everyday and pretend that they’re not suffering? They saw the celebrities in front of the cara acting like a lifeless doll with a smile glued on their faces. Even so idols who had minor breakdowns didn’t bother to rest just to assure the fans and to keep himself in front of the cara for fear of being forgotten.
Was that life waiting for them?
If these riots will never be solved, they all seem to step on thin ice everyday. Full of doubts, anxiety and fear for the future.
Is the future they’ve always been longing for really the dream they’ve been wanting to achieve?
Or were they just a false dream because of this?
