Chapter 93: Observations
"A’Li, please thank Nian Nian for the gift that she sent to ." Hou Jiaxu, Hou Nian’s older brother, who is He Li and He Yan’s uncle, said as he led He Li and others towards the exit of the Museum. His sister Hou Nian who had been idle in her ho after retiring has recently beco interested in cooking so she also developed a habit to send so for her family. It’s also a coincidence that He Li and his team were going to the way here so Hou Nian decided to let him bring the food personally.
He Li just nodded but Hou Jiaxu wasn’t offended because he knew his nephew has always been cold ever since he’s a child and even more so when he started going to the front line at a very young age.
"Do you still have sothing to do after this?" Hou Jiaxu asked.
"Mr. Hou, the Marshal, still has so schedule to attend to." Ji Wen, He Li’s Assistant hinted so he smiled at He Li and nodded. Just as he was about to say goodbye, they abruptly heard an alarm. Faint red lights flash above and everyone is stunned.
Hou Jiaxu’s face imdiately changed and look at his assistant behind.
"Mr. Hou, soone step on the forbidden area." His assistant reported.
Hou Jiaxu frowns. "What?"
He Li frowned. "We t no one earlier so I thought the museum was closed today, Uncle."
"No, it’s not." Hou Jiaxu explains. "Today, the competition that He Yan joined ssaged and said that I want the trainees to go around. You probably heard about the incident at their training camp, so they want the young n to take a break. Qian Jin told they’ll tour here. It’s understandable not to step on the forbidden zone."
Since it’s like this, then what is happening?
"Check it." He Li’s eyes turn sharp. His brother is here, what if sothing’s wrong will happen?
Hou Jiaxu was also curious so they quickly went to the security room.
Then, they really saw a young man walking around the forbidden area.
Ji Wen noticed the young man’s clothes. "His clothes are the sa as the trainees that Young Master He joined."
Hou Jiaxu frowns. "What is this young man doing?"
They looked at the virtual data infront of them and saw the young man looking around. Because of the high technology, today’s CCTV isn’t just a normal one where you can only see what’s going on on a screen. Instead, the cara will virtually present you the actual place as if you are in that place. Only that everything around you is virtual and cannot be touched.
It looks like it’s his first ti around because he was turning his head left and right. However, what was strange was that even though he looked unfamiliar, his steps weren’t hesitant to go in a certain direction.
It looks like soone just told him the direction but not the object that he’s looking for.
They quickly follow the young man.
"Mr. Hou, do we need to remind the young man that this is a forbidden area?" The staff said on the side. They knew that the young man was a trainee and just thought it’s a child who was lost or was just being naughty to sneak out from the team. And since they didn’t do anything other than wandering around, they are tolerant.
Hou Jiaxu also thought so and was about to agree when He Li intervened.
"Wait first."
Hou Jiaxu frowns. "A’Li?" But He Li didn’t respond and was just looking at the virtual body of the young man ahead.
Ji Wen just whispered to him that this seems to be the young man who’s a new friend of his young brother nad Qin An. He Li didn’t mind that his brother has many friends but since their job is very sensitive, he was well aware that other people have ulterior motives. He did ask for an investigation of the young man but never read it because he’s busy and there wasn’t a conflict between his brother so he thinks there’s no issue.
But now that the young man is doing sothing strange, he wouldn’t mind personally seeing what kind of a person he is first. After all, even if his background is clean, a person’s character is different.
Since his Mom also ntioned this young man, it seems that there’s sothing special that could have caught the attention of his two family mbers. Might as well observe since he’s already here.
He Li’s gaze stayed intently at the young man. He was wearing a blue shirt with a badge on his chest. Because the company wants this break to be casual, they only let them wear a simple shirt paired with shorts to lower knees and white rubber shoes so they will be comfortable wandering around. The young man’s appearance is obviously top-notch and according to his mother who kept on chattering, this Qin An appears to be the youngest on the team.
But, the youngest? He Li looks at his temperant and his interest sowhat arouses. This young man’s expression and temperant clearly isn’t.
His face doesn’t have an obvious expression and if it weren’t for his keen observation, he wouldn’t notice he’s sowhat anxious about sothing. What was intriguing was his temperant that doesn’t look like he was a minor. The back stands straight and distant, which seems very contrasting to his age.
The young man suddenly stops his gaze sowhere and walks closer to the object. They followed him and saw Qin And stop in front of a rectangular glass wherein an ancient object was inside.
Seeing that he was looking intently at it, they also looked at the object.
"This is an ancient relic sphere that we found a hundred years ago. We already took this to the laboratory and only saw it as a normal golden sphere with strange characters carved." Hou Jiaxu explains.
"Nothing is found?" He Li asked and Hou Jiaxu just nodded. Since this is just an ordinary ancient sphere, why did the young man stop after seeing it? Since this is in the forbidden area, there are other objects that are obviously more valuable than this one yet the young man looks indifferent and only focused on this sphere.
Everyone waited for his next action and saw him raise his hand but touch the glass cover. Qin An frowned but he suddenly looked down. They obviously saw a shock expression on its face but they saw nothing below him.
"Black?"
"???"
Everyone was stunned. Black? Who’s Black? They looked around yet saw no one.
Who is this young man talking about?
