After leaving the adventurers’ guild building, the sun was already beginning to set. We headed to an inn called "Kasih Ibu Inn." It was nad that way because the owner was said to be like a mother to adventurers, almost as if she were their mother.
After a few minutes of walking, we finally arrived at the inn. Upon entering, the place indeed resembled a dieval tavern or bar. The building had two floors; the first floor served as a dining area, and the second floor was for lodging. We sat at one of the empty tables. As usual, I felt many eyes on .
"Guys, there’s sothing I want to discuss," said Al.
"What is it, big bro? You sound so serious," replied Elise.
"It’s about splitting the reward money from today’s mission," Al continued.
"Oh, what’s wrong? Is there not enough?" asked Elise.
"No, it’s just... I think the money should go solely to Luna because we owe her our lives," Al said.
Hearing this, the atmosphere grew a bit somber.
"I’ve already said it’s fine. Besides, you all helped get the information I wanted, didn’t you?"
"And you also dealt with so of the wolves, right? So, you all deserve a share too."
"But—" Al began to protest.
Even though he was right, I couldn’t possibly take it all. After thinking for a mont, I said:
"How about this: I’ll take seven silver coins, and you divide the rest among yourselves. How about that?"
"Are you sure?" Al asked.
Al and the others exchanged glances.
"Yeah, I’m sure."
"Then, thank you, Luna!" Al said.
"Thank you, Luna!" the girls echoed.
"In that case, I’ll treat everyone tonight to celebrate our new friendship. How does that sound?"
"Agreed!" everyone cheered.
With that, we ordered food and so ale. In this world, once soone turns 15, they are considered an adult, which is why Elise and Phina could join in the drinking. It was also my first ti drinking this, and it didn’t taste like I expected.
We chatted about many things. They also taught about the currency system in this world:
1 silver coin = 100 copper coins
1 gold coin = 100 silver coins
1 platinum coin = 10 gold coins
A single al here costs 10 copper coins, and another 10 copper coins for a night’s stay. If you eat twice a day, your daily expenses is only 30 copper coins. In a month, your expenses would only be 9 silver coins, including food and lodging. Life in this world seed so much easier—work for one day, and you could live comfortably for a month. If only my world were like this. But on second thought, the stakes were life-threatening. If I hadn’t been there to help them, I couldn’t imagine what would have happened to them. Strength is indeed necessary to survive in this world.
After finishing our al, we decided to call it a day. Kyle carried Al, who was slightly drunk, while Lynn helped Phina, who was tipsy. This ti, I shared a room with Elise.
Upon entering the room, it was simple but cozy. To the left of the entrance stood a wooden wardrobe. On the far left and right corners were single beds, with a small cabinet in between them, atop which sat a window overlooking the outside.
Elise imdiately flopped onto the bed upon entering.
"Phew, finally so rest," Elise sighed, sounding relieved.
"Thank you for your hard work."
"Thank you for today, big sis!" Elise said.
"You’re welco, Elise."
Suddenly, Elise got up and began to unbutton her clothes. I was startled.
"E-Elise, what are you doing?"
"Taking off my clothes. Aren’t you going to sleep in that?" Elise asked.
I had never seen soone of the opposite sex undress in front of since I never had a girlfriend.
"What’s wrong, big sis? Don’t tell you’re embarrassed to undress in front of ?" Elise teased.
"...!"
"It’s not good to sleep in clothes like that, you know."
Embarrassed, I attempted to remove my dress, but since it was won’s clothing, I struggled. Noticing my difficulty, Elise quickly helped .
"If you need help, just ask , okay?" Elise said.
The zipper was on the back—so inconvenient. It must be tough being a woman. While still in my gown, I could tell I had a large chest, but seeing it directly now confird it—it was very large. My underwear was white with a beautiful pattern resembling the lingerie worn by magazine models.
"I knew you were well-endowed, but seeing it in person... Wow, it’s huge," Elise comnted.
I thought the sa! But not wanting to dwell on this, I continued removing my shoes. When I looked at Elise, she was already under the covers, ready to sleep. I joined her.
"Thank you for today, big sis. Goodnight!" Elise said.
Perhaps due to exhaustion, Elise quickly fell into a deep sleep.
"Goodnight to you, too, Elise."
So much had happened today. What exactly happened to ? What about the other players? Are they like , or is it just ? I had so many question,s but no one to ask. Should I ask the goddess who created this world? I felt excited about living in a fantasy world, even though it wasn’t as I had imagined. Since I didn’t know if I’d stay in this body or return to my own, I thought I should start adapting to it.
[The Next Morning]
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and sunlight streaming through the window. Opening the window, I felt a cool breeze brush against —it was like the fresh spring morning air. I closed my eyes to savor the cool breeze. When I opened them again, I noticed many people below staring up at . Realizing I was only in my underwear, I quickly closed the window, embarrassed.
"G-Good morning, big sis," Elise greeted.
"Ah, good morning, Elise."
"Have you been awake long?" Elise asked.
"No, I just woke ,up too."
After getting dressed, we headed downstairs. On the way, we t Phina and Lynn, who were also leaving their room. Together, we went to the first floor, where Kyle and Al were already seated at one of the tables. Unlike last night, there weren’t many people around this morning—just us and a few others.
"Everyone!" Al greeted, raising a hand.
"Good morning, leader! Good morning, big sis!" the girls said.
"Good morning to you all! Good morning, Luna!" Al added.
"Good morning, Al, Kyle!"
We sat down and waited for breakfast while discussing today’s agenda. Al and Kyle decided to visit the blacksmith and weapon shop to find new weapons if theirs couldn’t be repaired. Following Elise’s suggestion, we girls decided to help shop for clothes and show around town. After breakfast, we split up for the ti being.
The girls took to a clothing store. Since I didn’t know what to choose, I left everything to them. I also bought extra underwear as a backup. Seeing shop for clothes, the girls ended up buying so too. Before we knew it, it was midday, and our stomachs were growling. This ti, we went to a park filled with street food vendors to rest and eat.
"Big sis Luna, please teach magic! I want to be as strong as you," Phina said.
" too, big sis," Elise added.
" as well," Lynn chid in.
After yesterday’s battle, their levels had increased by one.
"What types of magic can you use?"
"I can use wind and water magic," said Lynn.
"I can use fire and wind," Phina replied.
"I can use water and white magic," Elise added.
"Wow, you can all use two types of magic? That’s amazing!"
"What about you, big sis? How many elents can you use?" Elise asked.
"I can use all of them—nine elents."
"WHAT?!" the girls exclaid.
"Wait a minute, aren’t there only six elents?" Phina asked.
They all looked puzzled by my statent.
"Yes, that’s what I know too—just six elents," Lynn said.
"In that case, could you list them for ?"
"Fire, water, wind, earth, black magic, and white magic," they all said.
"To my knowledge, the basic elents are four, as you ntioned earlier:
Fire → Wind → Earth → Water → Fire.
However, ice and lightning are extensions of the water and wind elents. Sotis, ice and lightning are categorized as sub-elents or additional elents. Why? Because occasionally, you’ll find soone with an affinity for lightning but no affinity for wind, or soone with an affinity for ice but no affinity for water. That’s why ice and lightning are sotis called additional or sub-elents.
Other affinities include white magic and black magic, which oppose each other. Lastly, there’s non-elental magic, which doesn’t gain advantages or disadvantages against other elents—it’s considered neutral magic."
After my explanation, they were silent for a mont.
"Wow, big sis Luna, you’re amazing for knowing all that," Phina said.
"Does that an I can learn ice magic too?" Elise asked.
"Of course. Since ice is an extension of water, soone with an affinity for water can learn ice magic. The sa goes for wind and lightning."
"Then I can learn lightning magic too?! Yay!" Phina cheered.
"Wait! Doesn’t that an Lynn can learn four elents?" Elise pointed out.
Hearing this, the three of them were montarily stunned before bursting with excitent. A smile appeared on Lynn’s face. It was also quite a spectacle for others around us.
"Hey, guys, how about we go to a magic shop to buy magic books?" Phina suggested.
"That’s a great idea," Lynn replied.
"What do you think, big sis Luna?" Elise asked.
"I’ll follow your lead."
"Then let’s go!" Phina cheered.
We went to a shop selling magic books. The shop wasn’t very large—like an ordinary bookstore. The seller was an elderly woman dressed like a witch. In addition to selling magic books, she also sold potions and other concoctions. It felt like an alchemist’s shop. According to the seller, ice and lightning magic books were rare. Fortunately, we managed to get them, though they were expensive—10 silver coin for each beginner-level book. Elise bought the Ice Needle book, Phina got the Lightning Ball book, and Lynn bought both.
Although it was a hefty expense, being able to learn the spells would increase their survival skills. Afterward, they were eager to start learning their new magic.
"How about we head to the Adventurers’ Guild? Maybe there’s an easy quest we can take while practicing our new magic. Also, big sis Luna, you should register as an adventurer since you’re so strong," Elise suggested.
Since everyone agreed, we headed to the Adventurers’ Guild.
