"You ask for my na? I don't think you're qualified to know," Xiao Tiance said mockingly.
On the Continent of Kings, Xiao Tiance's disdainful remark caused Wu Li's face to twist in anger. He let out a cold snort, visibly unsettled.
Truthfully, Wu Li would have preferred to avoid this confrontation altogether. Despite being a Lower Earth Supre one step away from the Upper Earth Supre Realm he was wary of the terrifying Golden Emperor Fla wielded by Xiao Tiance. The fla's violent energy and extre heat were too dangerous to take lightly.
The Sky Academy Dean chuckled as he observed Wu Li's frustration. "Tiance, that fla of yours is truly fearso. It can even lt quasi divine artifacts in an instant. If Wu Li hadn't dodged in ti earlier, I daresay he wouldn't even have ashes left."
"Indeed," Xiao Tiance replied with a faint smile. "This fla is called an Exotic Fire, one of the rare treasures of Heaven and Earth. Mine is the Golden Emperor Fla, ranked fourth on the Exotic Fire List. In terms of raw power, it's almost on par with the top ranked Emperor Fla."
"Exotic Fire?"
Both the Dean and Wu Li murmured the term. Neither had ever heard of such a thing before, but its overwhelming power spoke for itself.
Wu Li, in particular, felt a pang of loss as he glanced at his damaged quasi divine artifact. He had spent centuries gathering the materials and hiring a master craftsman to create it, only for the artifact to be nearly destroyed in a single encounter with the fla. Resentfully stowing away the ruined weapon, Wu Li glared at Xiao Tiance.
"You brat! Do you have any idea how much effort it took to forge that weapon? And you destroyed it!" Wu Li roared. "Fine! When I capture you, I'll rip your bones apart one by one and see if your mouth still runs that sharp!"
"Haha, you want to dismantle my bones? Perfect I was thinking of using your corpse to refine a Heavenly Demon Puppet," Xiao Tiance quipped.
Wu Li froze, his expression shifting from anger to alarm.
Xiao Tiance ignored him and turned to the Sky Academy Dean. "Dean, how about I help bolster your academy's foundations?"
"What do you an?" the Dean asked, intrigued but cautious.
"You've always been curious about how I refined Qinghou into a Heavenly Demon Puppet, haven't you?" Xiao Tiance explained. "Here's the deal: we take down these three siblings. I'll keep Wu Li's corpse, and I'll refine the other two into Heavenly Demon Puppets for your academy. With their current strength, even without the best materials, I can ensure they'll beco two Nine Grade Supre level puppets. What do you think?"
"Are you serious?" the Dean asked, his voice tinged with excitent.
"Of course. I always keep my word," Xiao Tiance replied confidently.
The Dean, a scholar at heart, appreciated Xiao Tiance's eloquent assurance. Without hesitation, he agreed. "Alright, but keep an eye on them to prevent any escapes. As for the fight, rember that Earth Supres can wield Heaven and Earth Manifestations. Even with your powerful fla, it's still risky."
Xiao Tiance nodded, signaling his understanding. With a flash, he disappeared and reappeared near Wu Qing, who was engaged in combat with Wan Sui.
"Second Sister, watch out!" Wu Li shouted, thinking Xiao Tiance was targeting him, only to realize he had moved toward Wu Qing's battlefield instead.
"Don't worry, Big Brother! I can handle this pretty boy myself," Wu Qing called back dismissively.
To her, Xiao Tiance was nothing more than an arrogant weakling. Even if her elder brother had suffered against his fla, she trusted her pair of lower grade divine hamrs and her sheer strength.
Her confidence was evident in her smug grin as she thought, That pretty face won't help him when I smash it into pieces.
"Pretty boy?!" Xiao Tianming burst into laughter from the sidelines. "This woman's asking for it. She has no idea what she's up against!"
Tianming knew better than anyone the terrifying physical strength of Xiao Tiance. Back in the Dou Qi Continent, his cousin had bested even the legendary Taixu Ancient Dragons in raw power.
He chuckled at the mory of Feng Min, who, after ascending to the Dou Emperor realm, had dared to mock Xiao Tiance. She quickly learned her lesson when he pumled her into submission using only his fists no techniques, no spiritual energy.
As if hearing Xiao Tianming's laughter, Xiao Tiance shot him a brief glance.
Wu Qing saw this and sneered. "Distracted, are we, pretty boy? Big mistake!"
"Careful, Lord Tiance!" Wan Sui shouted, retreating after being forced back by Wu Qing's divine hamrs.
"Too late!" Wu Qing yelled triumphantly, raising her hamrs high. With all her strength and the force of her Heaven and Earth Manifestation, she brought them crashing down on Xiao Tiance.
"Die!"
But just as the hamrs were about to strike, Xiao Tiance turned slightly and raised his hands.
"Clang!"
The sound of tal eting tal echoed as Xiao Tiance caught both hamrs with his bare hands.
The impact sent shockwaves through the battlefield. Before anyone could react, Wu Qing's body went limp, and she was sent flying backward, unconscious.
"Second Sister!" Wu Li and Wu Yi shouted in alarm.
In the blink of an eye, the battle had ended. Even the onlookers were stunned. Subduing a late stage Nine Grade Supre in an instant was a feat that even a perfected Earth Supre would struggle to achieve.
Wu Li, now visibly shaken, retreated a hundred ters, his eyes narrowing at Xiao Tiance.
"What kind of monster are you?" Wu Li growled.
Xiao Tiance smirked. "You're not qualified to ask."
Amid everyone's stunned silence, Xiao Tiance moved with a speed that shattered the air. In a single flash, he appeared beside Wu Qing, sending her twin hamrs flying toward Qinghou, who caught them effortlessly.
Grabbing Wu Qing as if she were a re child, Xiao Tiance tossed her unconscious body to Wan Sui.
In the blink of an eye, Wu Qing was dealt with, and Xiao Tiance shifted his attention to Wu Yi.
Wu Yi's eyes filled with terror as Xiao Tiance approached. Though he swung his Death Scythe, aiming to cleave Xiao Tiance in two, his expression froze mid swing. His gaze beca vacant, as if he'd suffered a devastating blow.
In an eerily similar fashion to Wu Qing's defeat, Wu Yi fell even faster. At least Wu Qing had managed to touch Xiao Tiance with her hamrs before collapsing. Wu Yi, however, didn't even have the chance to react before being rendered useless.
"Lord Tiance," Liu Changkong quickly stepped forward, taking Wu Yi's limp body from Xiao Tiance's hands.
Seeing Liu Changkong's look of shock, Xiao Tiance smiled faintly. "No need to look at like that. If it took a great deal of effort to deal with soone below the Earth Supre level, wouldn't that an your decision to have the entire Heavenly Net Hall submit to was a mistake?"
This single remark made Liu Changkong's respect for Xiao Tiance soar even higher. He nodded fervently, his eyes gleaming with admiration. "Lord Tiance, I have learned much from you today!"
"Haha. Take Wu Yi and Wu Qing to the sa place and guard them personally. They aren't dead they just won't wake up anyti soon," Xiao Tiance instructed casually, his gaze already shifting toward Wu Li, who had just forced the Sky Academy Dean to retreat.
Wu Li's expression mirrored disbelief and horror. He couldn't comprehend what he had just witnessed.
Wu Li knew his siblings' strength well. Even at his full power, taking down either of them in ten moves was a near impossible task. Yet, this "pretty boy," barely at the late Nine Grade Supre level, had subdued both in less than a breath's ti. It was utterly absurd.
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! You pretty boy, I'll tear you to pieces!" Wu Li roared, his aura erupting violently. It beca clear he was only a hair's breadth away from stepping into the Upper Earth Supre Realm.
"Heaven and Earth Manifestation!"
"Boom!"
With Wu Li's shout, the flat ground beneath him suddenly surged upward, transforming into razor sharp spikes that hurtled toward Xiao Tiance and Liu Changkong.
"Lord Tiance, be careful! This is the power of Heaven and Earth Manifestation!" Liu Changkong warned.
Xiao Tiance, however, remained unperturbed, a faint smile still on his lips.
Before the spikes could reach them, the Sky Academy Dean bellowed from a distance, "You insolent fool! Do you think I don't exist? Heaven and Earth Manifestation!"
A massive energy palm descended from the sky, smashing the spikes into nothingness.
The Dean didn't stop there. With a swift motion, he sent his folding fan flying. It struck Wu Li square in the chest, sending him hurtling backward.
"He's trying to escape!" the Dean shouted. He knew his attack wasn't strong enough to inflict severe damage.
As Wu Li flew backward, his eyes locked on Xiao Tiance with a venomous glare. "Pretty boy! You may have won today, but one day, I'll tear you apart!"
"Hmph. You think you can just run after spouting threats? Do you take for a bystander admiring the scenery?" Xiao Tiance sneered.
With a wave of his hand, a spiritual seal appeared on his palm. Pressing it downward, he activated his formation.
"Nine Dragons Ascension Formation!"
"Boom!"
As Xiao Tiance's voice rang out, a massive spiritual array erged in Wu Li's path, stretching for several kiloters. Just as Wu Li thought he had escaped, a crimson dragon erupted from the ground below him.
"Roar!"
The dragon's roar echoed as it unleashed waves of destruction upon Wu Li. First ca a flash of white light, followed by darkness that engulfed him. Wind and thunder assaulted him next, and finally, the five elental forces bombarded him in unison.
Nine dragons, each embodying a different elent, rained devastation upon Wu Li. Even from outside the array, the sheer destructive force was palpable.
"Such power… This is a Grandmaster level spiritual array, capable of restraining even a perfected Earth Supre. To think he's this formidable," the Sky Academy Dean murmured, visibly shaken by the sight.
As the dust settled, Wu Li was left barely alive, his body riddled with injuries. Just as Xiao Tiance was about to finish him off, a token fell from Wu Li's tattered clothes.
"Wait, Tiance, don't kill him yet," the Dean interjected.
Xiao Tiance frowned but withdrew his hand, dispelling the array. He let Wu Li collapse to the ground and turned to the Dean.
"Dean, is sothing wrong?" he asked as he approached.
The Dean picked up the token, examining it closely. With a sigh, he muttered, "Tiance, I'm afraid we can't touch these three after all."
"Why?" Xiao Tiance asked, though he suspected the answer lay with the token.
"Take a look at this," the Dean said, handing the token to Xiao Tiance.
The token was inscribed with the word War in an ancient style, along with the characters for Western Heaven beneath it. On the back was an engraving of a man standing in golden radiance, his hands clasped behind his back. His golden hair and chiseled features radiated unparalleled charisma and majesty.
More than his appearance, it was the aura emanating from the engraving a dominance that seed to transcend the heavens that was truly awe inspiring.
"This… Is this the Western Heaven War Emperor?" Xiao Tiance murmured, his eyes narrowing.
