"Jian Zun Zhe!"

In midair, a frail-looking elder radiating intense sword energy appeared. Mo Yu's silver eyes narrowed slightly, his vigilance rising imdiately.

Unlike Master Zhu Jian—whose reputation as a weapon refiner carried weight in the Western Regions but lacked combat prowess—the Jian Zun Zhe, the master of the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion, was a different matter altogether.

The Four Pavilions, standing tall across the four regions of Central Plains, were dominant forces in their respective areas. Among them, the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion reigned supre in the Western Regions, renowned for its unmatched might.

As the master of this prestigious pavilion, the Jian Zun Zhe possessed extraordinary strength, known for his transcendent swordsmanship, earning the title of "First Sword of the Western Regions." Even among the four pavilion leaders, the Jian Zun Zhe was a force to be reckoned with, so much so that even the seasoned Wind Sovereign dared not directly face his sword.

Moreover, the Jian Zun Zhe wasn't alone. Accompanying him were the Four Sword-Guarding Elders of the pavilion and other high-ranking experts. Such an overwhelming lineup would spell doom for all but the top-tier forces in the Western Regions, such as the Golden Warhorse Clan.

"Jian Zun Zhe! Mo Yu is an honorary elder of our Weapon Alliance. If you move against him, does that an you wish to make an enemy of us?"

Elder Bing's expression darkened upon seeing the Jian Zun Zhe appear. His voice rang out harshly.

This was Wan Bing City, the heart of the Weapon Alliance. For the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion to mobilize such a force against Mo Yu was a blatant show of disregard for his authority.

Even the elegant Cai Ya and other Weapon Alliance elders looked displeased. Though they remained neutral in the internal conflict between Elder Bing and Master Zhu Jian, outside interference was an entirely different matter.

The Weapon Alliance, for all its internal divisions, was still a formidable power. It would not tolerate such an affront.

"Elder Bing, you misunderstand. Mo Yu has killed Sun Wuji, not only the disciple of Master Zhu Jian but also the deputy head of my pavilion's Refiners Hall," the Jian Zun Zhe said evenly. "This is a grave matter that demands resolution, and your alliance owes us an explanation."

His eyes glead as he fixed his gaze on Mo Yu. "That said, if Mo Yu cos with to the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion, I can guarantee his safety."

Hearing this, Mo Yu's heart sank. It was clear that the Jian Zun Zhe harbored ulterior motives. As the champion of the Refining Convention and an eighth-grade weapon refiner respected even by Dou Zun powerhouses, Mo Yu's value was undeniable.

If he entered the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion, he might survive, but he would undoubtedly beco a tool for their gain—a weapon refiner enslaved by their designs.

Though the Jian Zun Zhe's proposal eased tensions with the Weapon Alliance, Cai Ya and the other leaders exchanged glances and chose to remain uninvolved. After all, while Mo Yu was now an honorary elder, he was still a junior, and they saw no reason to go to great lengths to protect him.

Mo Yu, however, remained unfazed. He had never expected the Weapon Alliance to shield him entirely. Elder Bing holding off Master Zhu Jian was already a boon.

Gripping the Divine Might Black Thunder Spear, Mo Yu surged into the skies. In full view of the onlookers, he stopped not far from the Jian Zun Zhe and his entourage.

"Are you the Jian Zun Zhe?" Mo Yu asked with a faint smile, his voice calm but laced with mockery. "I never imagined soone of your stature would go to such lengths for a junior like ."

The Jian Zun Zhe remained expressionless, his gaze briefly lingering on Mo Yu's weapon before a flicker of interest crossed his old eyes. "To see such talent arise in Central Plains... no wonder Hei Jian suffered a loss to you. But you've killed Sun Wuji, and my pavilion requires an explanation. Co willingly, or I'll have to take you by force."

Mo Yu chuckled. "I'm afraid the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion lacks the strength to make comply."

"Hmph! You insolent brat!" sneered Elder Hei Jian from behind the Jian Zun Zhe. "Do you think your Dou Zong-level guard can protect you? Against the might of the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion, even ten of him would be futile."

"Mo Yu, run!" cried Lan Yingying from below, panic in her voice. The pavilion's power was overwhelming. Even with Elder Bing holding off Master Zhu Jian, escape seed impossible for Mo Yu.

But Mo Yu shook his head slowly. The entire Wan Bing City was already enveloped in the pavilion's sword net. Escape was futile. Only by facing the challenge head-on could he find a glimr of hope.

His gaze shifted to a black-robed elder seated among the spectators—Tie Jian Zun Zhe, the sa man he had encountered during the Weapon Refiners' Trade Fair.

"Senior Tie Jian Zun Zhe," Mo Yu suddenly called out, cupping his fists. "Do you recall the agreent we made?"

The Tie Jian Zun Zhe started, then seed to rember sothing. "I rember. But you'll need to fulfill my condition first," he replied coolly.

Mo Yu smiled, retrieving a ring from his finger and tossing it toward the elder. The contents of this ring were unmistakable.

As the elder caught the ring, the heavy sword within erged, exuding a sharp, lethal aura. The mont he laid eyes on the restored weapon, the Tie Jian Zun Zhe's usually stern expression transford into one of astonishnt and delight.

For a mont, he seed frozen, his joy palpable. A storm of sword energy ford above him, stunning the crowd.

When he finally spoke, his voice was resolute and commanding:

"Mo Yu... no one shall lay a hand on him!"

The words echoed like thunder, freezing the air around them. At that mont, no one dared question the authority of the Tie Jian Zun Zhe, a Dou Zun powerhouse whose weight carried imnse significance on the Dou Qi Continent.

Even Lan Yingying, at the edge of the stage, was left speechless. She had known of Mo Yu's promise to the Tie Jian Zun Zhe but never imagined he would truly repair the elder's treasured sword.

Though Mo Yu had already achieved the championship of the Refining Convention, what happened around him now no longer seed like a miracle.

A heavy silence shrouded the heavens, even the billowing clouds above began to calm. This stifling atmosphere lingered for quite a while before the Jian Zun Zhe in the sky finally ca to his senses. Turning his sharp, sword-like gaze to the Tie Jian Zun Zhe, he asked in a deep voice:

"Tie Jian Zun Zhe, what is the aning of this?" The anger in the Jian Zun Zhe's tone was unmistakable to anyone.

"Hmph! Tie Jian Zun Zhe, if you intend to protect Mo Yu, you'd better think carefully!" another voice chid in with a sneer.

Master Zhu Jian was montarily stunned but quickly narrowed his eyes when he noticed the restored heavy sword in the Tie Jian Zun Zhe's hand. He seed to realize sothing.

The damage to the Tie Jian Zun Zhe's weapon was well-known. He had even warned other craftsn not to assist in its repair. Yet, the heavy sword was now completely restored. Coupled with Mo Yu's earlier actions, anyone with a discerning eye could see the deal between the two.

"Damn brat, he truly cannot be allowed to live!"

Master Zhu Jian's face grew darker, his killing intent surging. He had heard of the Tie Jian Zun Zhe's sword—it was ford from his own killing intent and rivaled ordinary eighth-grade spiritual weapons. Even he couldn't confidently repair it, yet Mo Yu had managed to.

As these thoughts churned, Zhu Jian's wariness deepened, and his murderous intent intensified.

Under countless watchful eyes, the Tie Jian Zun Zhe gently stroked the heavy sword in his hand before looking at Mo Yu with an unwavering gaze. "Thank you," he said simply.

Without waiting for Mo Yu to respond, the Tie Jian Zun Zhe turned, facing the stern-faced Jian Zun Zhe in mid-air. His rigid expression grew solemn. "My apologies, Jian Zun Zhe. On other matters today, I may defer to you. But as for Mo Yu, the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion will not lay a hand on him!"

Hearing this, Mo Yu exhaled deeply. Though he trusted the Tie Jian Zun Zhe's character, facing the formidable Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion still left him apprehensive. Yet, it seed he hadn't misjudged the man—Tie Jian Zun Zhe was standing firm.

"Thank you for your assistance, Tie Jian Zun Zhe," Mo Yu said, clasping his fists in respect.

"No need to thank ," the Tie Jian Zun Zhe replied with his usual stern deanor. "You requested my aid twice. This, I assu, is one of those tis. I am no oath-breaker." With a leap, he landed beside Mo Yu, his face stoic as ever.

Mo Yu smiled faintly. While the Tie Jian Zun Zhe was peculiar in nature, he was indeed reliable.

"Tie Jian Zun Zhe, do you truly intend to stop ?" The Jian Zun Zhe's face darkened, his tone cold.

Though the Tie Jian Zun Zhe was a solitary figure, he was still a Dou Zun powerhouse. For him to side with Mo Yu caught the Jian Zun Zhe off guard.

"Enough talk. Either retreat and let us be, or show the strength of the Western Region's top swordmaster," the Tie Jian Zun Zhe said indifferently.

The Jian Zun Zhe's eyes flared with rage. "Do you really think you alone can stand against the Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion?" he sneered.

"Whether I can or not, my conscience will be clear," the Tie Jian Zun Zhe replied. He glanced at the group behind the Jian Zun Zhe, his brows furrowing slightly before turning to Mo Yu. In a low voice, he said, "The Jian Zun Zhe is a dominator of Central Plains. I can only hold him off. As for the others, I won't be able to assist."

Mo Yu, however, remained unperturbed. "That's fine. Thank you, Tie Jian Zun Zhe," he said with a calm smile.

Seeing Mo Yu's composed deanor, the Tie Jian Zun Zhe looked slightly puzzled. The Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion's Four Sword-Guarding Elders were no trifling opponents. Together, they could hold their own even against him.

anwhile, Mo Yu discreetly touched the golden jade token on his chest. The Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion's forces were beyond him, but if push ca to shove, he could seek aid from the Golden Warhorse Clan's old patriarch.

As this thought crossed his mind, the Four Sword-Guarding Elders led their forces in a coordinated leap through the air, their swords locking onto Mo Yu. Dozens of blades shimred coldly, aiming directly at him.

Seeing this, both Tie Jian Zun Zhe and Bing Lao moved to assist, but the Jian Zun Zhe and Master Zhu Jian intercepted them, unleashing overwhelming auras that forced the pair to engage.

"Brat, this will be your grave!" the Elder Hei Jian sneered coldly at Mo Yu. Beside him, the other three Sword-Guarding Elders and nurous Ten Thousand Sword Pavilion elites gazed at Mo Yu as if he were already a dead man.

Mo Yu's heart sank slightly. Though his strength had grown significantly, the pavilion's brazen display of force was undeniably oppressive.

Just as Mo Yu prepared to summon Ma Chen for aid, the sky suddenly darkened. A fierce wind brought the scent of blood as over ten massive shadows descended from the horizon.

Drawing closer, these shadows revealed themselves to be thunder beasts with four limbs, double wings, and sharp horns atop their heads.

These creatures seed unaffected by the pavilion's sword formation, flying arrogantly to the plaza's center. On their backs stood figures clad in dark robes, their imnse auras radiating subtly yet palpably.

The crowd fell into stunned silence, even the Jian Zun Zhe furrowing his brows. This mysterious force had bypassed his sword barrier entirely.

Atop the leading thunder beast stood a handso man, his hands behind his back. Holding an ancient black token emanating a mysterious silver light, the man directed the token toward the silver-eyed youth on the stone platform—Mo Yu.

The light pointed directly at Mo Yu, and the man's eyes widened slightly in surprise before signaling to his team. The group dismounted, striding toward Mo Yu.

The crowd watched in bewildernt, so speculating whether this force was here to capture Mo Yu.

Before anyone could draw conclusions, the mysterious group made their intentions clear. Led by the handso man, they bowed respectfully to Mo Yu, their posture reminiscent of subordinates paying homage to a superior.

"Commander of the Black Thunder Banner, Mang Dian, greets Lord Captain!"
