Boom!

High above the sky, a massive vortex abruptly contracted, sending countless surges of ancient, primal aura—each as vast as a thousand-foot-long dragon—rushing downward in a torrent. The overwhelming waves of energy hurtled toward the hundred-foot-tall giant lion within the beam of light, crashing down like an unstoppable tide.

Yet, under the baptism of this primal aura, the massive lion within the light remained unmoving. The violent energies struck its towering form relentlessly, only to be absorbed entirely into its body.

For nearly half an hour, the chaotic primal aura raged across the heavens before gradually dissipating. As the vortex in the sky dispersed, sunlight spilled onto the mountain range below, and an imnsely fierce and imposing aura rippled through the heavens and earth.

The phenonon had already drawn the attention of all the mbers of the Abyssal Lion Clan. Countless gazes locked onto the giant lion silhouette, their expressions filled with awe and disbelief.

The colossal lion tilted its head back and let out a heart-stopping roar that echoed for hundreds of miles.

"Roar!"

The deafening soundwaves swept across the land, sending waves of primal ferocity outward. Even those far from the source could feel the terrifying might, their hearts trembling uncontrollably. Within the clan, every mber clutched their ears, gazing at the enormous lion with reverence and fear.

Even Mo Yu felt his battle energy montarily stagnate when the roar resounded, a testant to its overwhelming power.

After a mont, the roar subsided, and the hundred-foot-tall lion began to shrink. Eventually, it transford into a human figure, striding forward from within the fading light beam.

When the figure ca into focus, the onlookers finally saw him clearly. It was the familiar, sowhat naive but fierce face of Zi Huo. However, his entire body now glimred with a purplish-gold radiance, and his fra, as solid and towering as a steel fortress, exuded an oppressive aura that spread out in waves, dominating everything in its path.

Under this oppressive might, the expressions of the Abyssal Lion Clan’s mbers shifted dramatically. They felt an instinctive sense of submission rising from the depths of their bloodline—a natural suppression that could not be resisted.

The entire mountain range fell into a deathly silence.

The Lion King gazed at the iron-tower-like figure in mid-air, and his hand slowly clenched into a fist. In a voice tinged with a deeply hidden tremor, he murmured, "It’s... really the Primal Lion Body..."

The youth resembling an iron tower stood suspended in the void, his body enveloped in brilliant purplish-gold light. Upon closer inspection, he resembled a primordial giant, his presence suffused with an ancient and overpowering majesty.

All eyes were fixated on this awe-inspiring figure. The oppressive aura kept everyone silent, though the disbelief and shock on their faces betrayed the turmoil in their hearts.

Above the sky, Zi Huo slowly opened his eyes, the purplish-gold light receding into his body until it vanished entirely. With the dissipation of this brilliance, the suffocating pressure also disappeared.

Zi Huo’s gaze swept across the scene below. His eyes landed on Mo Yu, who was watching him from a distance. For a mont, he froze, then a sheepish grin spread across his rugged face—a stark contrast to his fierce appearance.

Noticing Zi Huo’s gaze, Mo Yu smiled and nodded slightly. His silver eyes flickered with astonishnt. Though Zi Huo’s appearance hadn’t changed much, his newfound aura was suffused with an unimaginable might.

Mo Yu couldn’t help but wonder if even Old Ghost Zhai Xing, the five-star Dou Zun they had encountered in the Hall of Souls, would be able to withstand three punches from Zi Huo in his current state.

"Is the Primal Lion Body truly this fearso?" Mo Yu muttered to himself.

Beside him, Zi Yan’s face grew serious. "The Primal Lion Body... It’s sothing that has been extinct in the Abyssal Lion Clan for millennia. According to the clan’s ancient records, there’s even a rule: never to make enemies with any Abyssal Lion possessing the Primal Lion Body."

Her voice was low, carrying an uncharacteristic solemnity. Even as a mber of the Ancient Void Dragon’s royal bloodline, Zi Yan found herself feeling slightly suppressed by Zi Huo’s aura. Of course, she knew this was only because her own royal bloodline had yet to fully awaken. Once she did, even the Primal Lion Body might not hold the upper hand.

Zi Huo, anwhile, strode toward Mo Yu with his aura entirely restrained. Scratching his head awkwardly, he chuckled. "Boss, I’m sorry for dragging you into this. Originally, I just wanted to break through to Dou Zun here and return right away.

But then this Lion King guy insisted I participate in the selection for the Abyssal Lion Clan’s Young Clan Leader. He also wants to enter the Desolate Realm. At first, I didn’t care, but later I found out that the Primal Ancestral Thunder is really interested in the primal aura there. So I decided to go in and let the thunder evolve a bit... Who knew it would take this long?"

Hearing this, the Lion King twitched slightly. Despite all his efforts to groom Zi Huo, the latter seed entirely uninterested in his clan’s affairs.

The Lion King’s gaze shifted to Mo Yu, his expression revealing a hint of curiosity.

Understanding the Lion King’s intentions, Mo Yu cleared his throat and smiled at Zi Huo. "No worries. The Yuan Manor has been under Xiao Yixian’s care while you were away, and everything’s fine. However, Zi Huo, you should step down from your position as a hall master. Focus on being the Young Clan Leader of the Abyssal Lion Clan."

Zi Huo froze, his crimson eyes filled with alarm. "Boss, why? Did I do sothing wrong?"

Mo Yu shook his head and smiled. "No, you’ve done well. But the Abyssal Lion Clan needs you now. As one of their own, it’s your responsibility to help restore their forr glory. Don’t worry; even if you leave the Yuan Manor, our bond won’t change."

Hearing this, Zi Huo finally breathed a sigh of relief. Though he didn’t fully understand why his boss wanted him to stay, he had no objections.

The Lion King also let out a quiet sigh of relief. Losing such a rare and exceptional clansman with the Primal Lion Body to another faction would have been an unbearable humiliation for the Abyssal Lion Clan.

"Who would’ve thought that the Primal Lion Body, lost for millennia, could reappear in our clan..."

As Mo Yu and the others spoke, several powerful auras approached swiftly, accompanied by the sound of rushing wind. An aged, excited voice echoed in their ears.

Mo Yu turned to see several elders, their wrinkled faces weathered by ti, yet concealing terrifying strength. At the forefront was a short, white-haired elder dressed in simple hemp robes. Though unassuming at first glance, his presence carried an unfathomable depth.

However, Mo Yu knew that this person was the most terrifying existence among this group. The sense of danger emanating from him was no weaker than that of the Lion King! Evidently, within the Abyssal Lion Clan, the only one with such strength and status, apart from the Grand Elder of the Elder Council, could be no one else.

"Hmph, I said it before, you are all shortsighted fools! To think you wanted to hand over a clansman who might inherit the Primal Lion Body. You’re truly the sinners of the clan!" The Lion King snorted coldly, his lips curving into a disdainful smile as he spoke to the few elders before him.

Hearing this, the elders’ faces imdiately revealed expressions of embarrassnt. However, a black-robed elder standing behind the Abyssal Lion Clan’s Grand Elder seed indignant and tried to explain.

"This was because the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan pressured us to such an extent. For the sake of the greater good, we thought—"

Before he could finish, the Grand Elder waved his hand and interrupted, sighing, "Alas, it is indeed our fault. If not for the Lion King’s persistence, we might have caused a disaster."

"The Primal Lion Body holds unparalleled significance for our Abyssal Lion Clan. For this, not to ntion opposing the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan, even if the Ancient Void Dragon Clan ca in person, we must resist them to the end!"

Hearing this, Zi Yan blinked her adorable large eyes.

This matter... didn’t seem to have anything to do with the Ancient Void Dragon Clan, right? Besides, her Ancient Void Dragon Clan wasn’t like those old, arrogant birds from the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan, who loved bullying the weak.

"Does the Grand Elder truly think this way?" The Lion King asked solemnly.

"Heh, Lion King, there’s no need to test ," the Grand Elder replied with a bitter smile before turning to Zi Huo. "The reason I’ve been so cautious and compromising is because the Abyssal Lion Clan has been in decline for a long ti. Though the prestige of our past remains, the competition in the Beast Region is intense. It’s hard to avoid being targeted by rising magical beast powers. That’s why I act with such prudence and humility."

"However, as a mber of the Abyssal Lion Clan, my original intention has always been for the benefit of the clan. I understand better than anyone what the Primal Lion Body ans to us."

"A matured bearer of the Primal Lion Body will undoubtedly beco a Dou Saint! Once Zi Huo grows, the Abyssal Lion Clan will surely regain its place among the super clans of the magical beast world! Therefore, if the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan wants our young clan leader Zi Huo, they’ll have to step over my dead body!"

By the end, the elderly face of the Lion Clan’s Grand Elder showed an unyielding resolve.

Hearing this, the Lion King’s expression also carried a trace of admiration.

Although their ideologies differed, both he and the Grand Elder ultimately worked for the benefit of the Abyssal Lion Clan, differing only in their approaches.

"In that case, since Zi Huo has passed the trial of the Desolate Realm and inherited the Primal Lion Body, the position of the young clan leader should rightfully belong to him," the Lion King said with a light smile.

"Indeed, according to the clan rules, Zi Huo is now the young clan leader of the Abyssal Lion Clan. Once he familiarizes himself with clan affairs, he will officially beco the next clan leader," the Grand Elder nodded in agreent.

Upon hearing this, the older elders behind the Grand Elder exchanged glances, seemingly wanting to voice their concerns. However, the Grand Elder, already aware of their thoughts, waved his hand to stop them from speaking.

The concerns of these elders were nothing more than doubts about Zi Huo’s unknown background, believing he was unfit to ascend so quickly to the position of clan leader.

The Grand Elder was well aware of this.

By conventional standards, Zi Huo, as a clan mber who had been lost and later found, with an unclear background, was indeed not qualified to compete for the position of clan leader. At best, he could ascend to a high-ranking position such as an elder or even the Lion King.

However, the Primal Lion Body, Abyssal Lion Clan’s most powerful bloodline, had disappeared for thousands of years. Its reappearance demanded utmost attention and nurturing.

Coupled with the clan’s decline and the lack of promising talent among the younger generation, if they failed to select a strong figure to lead the Abyssal Lion Clan, the clan might truly vanish into the annals of history within a few thousand years.

Thus, despite their doubts about Zi Huo’s origins, they couldn’t afford to adhere strictly to protocol at this mont. Furthermore, Zi Huo had inherited the Primal Lion Body in the Desolate Realm, indicating he had received the recognition of their ancestors, alleviating much of their concern.

In terms of strength, Zi Huo, now an eighth-grade magical beast equivalent to a human Dou Zun, coupled with the Primal Lion Body, was likely superior to even so veteran high-ranking Dou Zuns. Within the Abyssal Lion Clan, apart from the Lion King and the Grand Elder, there were less than five individuals who could confidently defeat him.

With a little more ti to grow, Zi Huo would undoubtedly surpass both the Lion King and the Grand Elder, becoming the strongest mber of the Abyssal Lion Clan. By then, the clan would once again enter its era of glory.

Hearing the Grand Elder’s declaration, the Lion King nodded. "If that’s the case, let the announcent of Zi Huo’s ascension to young clan leader be made as soon as possible, so the clan mbers can acclimate to it."

"Very well. I’ll take care of it. However, with the commotion caused by Zi Huo today, I believe most of the clan already knows," the Grand Elder said with a smile.

Indeed, under the hundred-zhang-tall purple-gold lion form and its earth-shaking roar, the entire Abyssal Lion Clan had likely guessed what had transpired.

As joy spread throughout the Abyssal Lion Clan over the reappearance of the Primal Lion Body, a cold and discordant voice suddenly resounded.

"Oh? It seems the Abyssal Lion Clan has chosen to stubbornly oppose my Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan..."

At this mont, above the clan’s territory, ripples appeared in the void. Then, three powerful figures stepped out of a spatial rift, their intimidating presence enveloping the area.

When the final figure erged, the rift slowly closed.

In the sky, three imposing figures stood. Upon seeing their silhouettes, the mbers of the Abyssal Lion Clan were instantly filled with shock and fear.

"I’ll give you one last chance: hand over the one bearing the blood of my Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan!"

In the center, a yellow-robed man with a cold and commanding voice shouted. He appeared to be in his thirties, but his aura was overwhelmingly powerful, even surpassing that of the Lion King.

"Three Ban Sheng experts!"

Seeing the sudden arrival of the three mbers of the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan, Mo Yu spoke in a low voice, his expression grim.
