"Lei Ying!"

From a distance, Hun Qianmo’s face darkened as he looked at the dark-skinned elder who had suddenly appeared beside Mo Yu.

"Greetings, senior."

Mo Yu was montarily stunned by the elder’s unexpected arrival. However, as if recalling sothing, he quickly cupped his hands and spoke with respect.

During his ti with Lei Fei’er, she had often told him about the top powerhouses of the Lei Clan, among them this dark-skinned elder—Lei Ying (Shadow), a renowned figure in the clan. It was said that Lei Ying’s seniority even surpassed that of the Lei Clan’s patriarch, Lei Ying (Win).

In his younger days, he had challenged the prodigies of the Eight Ancient Clans, winning so battles and losing others, earning a reputation as a battle maniac.

Over ti, he had withdrawn from the public eye, fading into obscurity. Yet today, the Hun Clan’s challenge had been significant enough to stir even this formidable senior into action.

"No need for courtesy."

Lei Ying waved a hand dismissively, his eyes as deep and volatile as a thunder abyss as they swept over Mo Yu with a hint of intrigue. He then chuckled, "Who would’ve thought that soone from a re vassal family could awaken a divine-grade bloodline?"

"But since you’re one of my Lei Clan’s people, and that little girl Fei’er specifically asked to protect you, then if these Hun Clan people want to rely on their might to bully you, they’ll have to get past first."

"That old monster, Hun Qianmo, leave him to . I won’t say I can defeat him outright, but forcing a draw is the minimum."

As he spoke, Lei Ying’s body pulsed with raging thunder, and his muscles crackled with electricity. The terrifying aura he exuded tore dark fissures through space, making him appear truly formidable.

"Then I’ll have to trouble you, senior."

There was an undeniable dominance and confidence in Lei Ying’s few words. Mo Yu let out a breath of relief—having Lei Ying’s assurance ant a major uncertainty in this battle had been eliminated.

"Lei Ying, I didn’t expect your Lei Clan to interfere as well. Are you not afraid of completely offending my Hun Clan?"

Hun Qianmo’s withered face twitched as Lei Ying appeared, his hoarse voice filled with nace. "Don’t think that forming a three-clan alliance with the Yan Clan and Yao Clan makes you untouchable. If you anger my Hun Clan, your so-called alliance will an nothing."

"Heh, you old fossil, do you think threats work on ?"

Lei Ying folded his arms over his chest, looking down with a cold smirk. "Your Hun Clan already crossed the line when you tried to kill a divine-grade bloodline of my Lei Clan. There’s no need for empty threats now."

"Enough nonsense. It’s been years since we last fought. I wonder how much you’ve improved since then?"

"You’ll find out soon enough!"

A strange gleam flickered in Hun Qianmo’s eyes, and his voice grew distant and erratic. His body gradually took on an illusory quality.

"Hmph!"

Lei Ying let out a cold snort and vanished soundlessly from his spot. When he reappeared, he was already in midair.

He raised his hand lightly, and the space around them rippled violently before transforming into a vast domain of crackling thunder.

"Hun Qianmo, this battlefield is too small. Co inside and fight."

Standing at the entrance of the thunder domain, Lei Ying laughed before stepping inside.

At their level, creating battle spaces was effortless. However, hastily constructed domains like these were unstable and would naturally dissipate once the battle ended.

"Hmph! You think I’m afraid?"

Sneering coldly, Hun Qianmo’s figure flickered, and in a flash, he disappeared into the space as well.

Shortly after, the battlefield trembled, becoming slightly transparent. The spectators could now see the two figures within the thunder domain—Lei Ying and Hun Qianmo.

"Both of them are Six-Star Dou Sheng powerhouses... Haha, witnessing this battle in person is well worth the trip! A battle of this level is rare even across the entire continent!"

Excitent rippled through the crowd as their eyes burned with anticipation. For many of them, this was the first ti witnessing a battle between such top-tier experts.

As soon as they entered the battlefield, Lei Ying and Hun Qianmo wasted no ti.

Under the watchful gazes of countless onlookers, their battle erupted with explosive intensity.

Even with the spatial barrier separating them, the sheer force of their clashes sent waves of energy rippling outward. The powerful reverberations were like the tolling of a great bell, making many people’s chests feel heavy.

The rapid pace of their battle was like a thunderstorm, each exchange capable of tearing the heavens apart. Spectators watched in awe, utterly enthralled by the raw, overwhelming power.

anwhile, outside the space, Xiao Chen cast a glance at the battle before taking a slow step forward. His gaze locked onto the Chief of Hall of Souls and Elder Hun Mo as he spoke in a hoarse voice:

"Who’s next?"

Xiao Chen’s voice wasn’t loud, but it carried an eerie force that sent chills down the spines of those who heard it. Even many who had been focused on the thunder domain now turned their attention to him.

The Chief of Hall of Souls and Elder Hun Mo exchanged a glance. A sinister glint flashed across the latter’s aged face as he took two steps forward.

"Blood Axe Xiao Chen... You had a glorious reputation in the past, but now you’re nothing more than a relic of a bygone era."

"Whether I’m outdated or not, let’s find out in battle."

Elder Hun Mo let out a strange laugh. His robes flapped wildly despite the lack of wind, and his body levitated into the air. A vast, suffocating Dou Qi storm burst forth from him, engulfing the sky in thick black mist. In an instant, the entire mountain range was shrouded in darkness.

"Gulp..."

The oppressive Dou Qi made many spectators swallow nervously, their eyes filled with apprehension.

Though the battle inside the spatial domain was far more terrifying, it was still separated from them by a barrier. But this... this was happening right before their eyes.

"Five-Star Dou Sheng... The Hun Clan truly has no shortage of powerhouses."

So of the grand elders from various sects sighed inwardly, filled with admiration for the Hun Clan’s deep reserves of strength.

"Hun Clan scum... die!"

Xiao Chen’s hand slowly clenched, and with a flash of crimson light, a massive ten-ter-long blood-red battle axe materialized.

With a single stomp, he vanished from his spot—reappearing directly above Elder Hun Mo’s head.

A massive blood-red axe, as if it were the legendary axe that split the heavens and the earth, ca crashing down viciously upon its target!

"The outco is still uncertain!"

Faced with Xiao Chen’s overwhelming assault, the Elder Hun Mo rely let out a cold laugh. With a flick of his sleeve, dozens of eerie white bone chains shot out, forming a dense web in front of him as black mist surged around them, ready to intercept the descending axe.

"Screech—!"

As the giant axe struck the web, the imnse force it carried was rapidly dispersed, slowing its descent until it felt as if it had sunk into an endless mire. In the end, it ca to a halt, frozen just half a foot away from the Elder Hun Mo’s forehead.

"Heavenly Demon Blood Gu, Devour!"

Having blocked the strike, the Elder Hun Mo’s sinister voice rang out again. The black clouds in the sky churned violently, and within monts, an aura of savage brutality, utterly inhuman, erupted from the darkness.

Amidst countless horrified gazes, a monstrous creature resembling a toad erged from the black mist.

Its body was a dark crimson hue, covered in bulging lumps of flesh. Upon closer inspection, those lumps weren’t re growths but grotesque, contorted human faces!

"It’s actually the Soul Gu Toad... This Elder Hun Mo truly has no bottom line," She Lao muttered grimly, his expression darkening as he gazed upon the terrifying blood-colored toad.

Mo Yu’s brows furrowed as well. He had heard of this creature before—it was said to be forged from countless souls, forced to battle one another, then refined with certain materials to create the Soul Gu Toad.

This thing bore so resemblance to a puppet, but unlike puppets, which were lifeless constructs, the Soul Gu Toad possessed a sliver of intelligence. However, that intelligence was wholly dominated by its bloodthirsty nature. Once unleashed, it would go on a rampage, slaughtering indiscriminately.

Throughout the mountain range, eyes filled with undisguised fear and revulsion stared at the monstrous toad. Clearly, many recognized the notorious reputation of the Soul Gu Toad.

"Go!"

The Elder Hun Mo paid no heed to those reactions. A cruel smirk surfaced on his face as he pointed toward Xiao Chen.

Following his command, the Soul Gu Toad shot forward at terrifying speed. anwhile, the Elder Hun Mo seized the opportunity to strike from the shadows, launching relentless and deadly attacks at Xiao Chen’s vital points. It was clear that he intended to take advantage of the distraction to deliver a fatal blow.

Facing this deadly combination, Xiao Chen had no choice but to shift from offense to defense, and gradually, he began to fall into a disadvantageous position.

"This isn’t looking good..." She Lao muttered, furrowing his brows. anwhile, on the Soul Hall’s side, excitent flickered across their faces.

However, Mo Yu remained calm.

Xiao Chen was, after all, Xiao Xuan’s cousin. Both his combat skills and intellect were extraordinary. Though his strength seed slightly inferior to the Elder Hun Mo’s, he was once a figure of great renown. When it ca to battle experience, he was not soone easily defeated.

"Boom!"

Just as the fight between Xiao Chen and the Elder Hun Mo grew even more intense, a deafening explosion suddenly erupted from the sky, drawing everyone’s attention.

The spatial passage shattered, and two figures shot out, each staggering back several hundred steps before finally steadying themselves.

"They’re out!"

Gasps of surprise echoed through the mountain range as all eyes turned to the two figures erging from the broken space.

"Hmph! That old relic of the Hun Clan really does have so skill." Lei Ying steadied himself in mid-air, a battle-hungry grin on his face. His muscles rippled, exuding an aura of raw, violent power.

In the distance, Hun Qianmo rely let out a cold chuckle, remaining silent—clearly, he had gained no advantage in their battle.

"Elder Qianmo, how did it go?"

"Senior, what was the outco?"

Below, both the Chief of Hall of Souls and Mo Yu spoke almost simultaneously. Their battle’s result would have a decisive impact on today’s war.

At their inquiries, Hun Qianmo and Lei Ying exchanged a brief glance before replying in unison with cold voices, "A draw."

Their strengths were too closely matched. If they had truly fought to the death, one would have erged victorious, but neither had the intent to go that far.

Hearing this, both the Chief of Hall of Souls and Mo Yu were montarily stunned. The forr frowned slightly, clearly dissatisfied with such a result.

"Don’t be so greedy. With that battle maniac involved, securing a draw is already fortunate. If not for my backing from the Hun Clan, given his personality, he wouldn’t stop until the heavens and earth were turned upside down,"

Hun Qianmo remarked indifferently, descending beside the Chief of Hall of Souls. His expression flickered slightly before he turned to gaze at Lei Ying in the distance. His voice carried a heavy undertone.

The Chief of Hall of Souls’s face darkened as well.

The Lei Clan was full of battle fanatics. Whether it was their patriach, Lei Ying (Win), or even their elders, all were the sa—reckless, aggressive, and explosive in temperant. Though their overall strength was weaker than the Gu Clan, they were far more troubleso to deal with.

This was precisely why the Hun Clan had never dared to take drastic action against Mo Yu. But by allowing him to roam unchecked, they had inadvertently let him grow into a serious threat.

With that realization, the Chief of Hall of Souls let out a bitter laugh before turning his gaze toward the sky, where the battle between the Elder Hun Mo and Xiao Chen raged on, more ferocious than ever. He exhaled slowly.

"As long as the Elder Hun Mo wins this fight, the overall situation will be decided."

At his words, Hun Qianmo lifted his gaze as well. However, as he observed the battlefield, his brows suddenly knitted tightly together. After a mont, he shook his head slowly and said in a low voice, "It won’t be that easy."

The mont his voice fell, a thunderous explosion erupted from the sky.

Both Xiao Chen and the Elder Hun Mo had unleashed their most powerful techniques. In an instant, a surge of violent blood-red energy engulfed the entire mountain range, dyeing the world a sinister crimson. Surrounding peaks crumbled, reduced to a wasteland.

From the devastation, two figures wobbled into the air, their bodies drenched in blood, looking utterly battered.

"Elder Xiao Chen!"

"Elder Hun Mo!"

Seeing their miserable states, both factions were taken aback. No one had expected them to fight so fiercely.

"Elder Xiao Chen, are you alright?" Mo Yu asked hurriedly as he stepped forward, offering a dicinal pill exuding a rich herbal fragrance.

"I’m fine... But this match ended in another draw. The final round is up to you now." Xiao Chen swallowed the pill, his tone carrying a hint of regret.

Another draw!

At these words, Mo Yu and the Chief of Hall of Souls simultaneously lifted their heads, locking eyes across the battlefield.

Within that gaze, a chilling intent to kill surged between them.
