"Innocent?"
A cold laugh escaped Liu Xi's lips. "You dare call yourselves innocent? What a joke. Behind your golden facade lies a mountain of corpses. I didn't co for justice — I ca to eradicate the roots."
Through his Spiritual Perception, Liu Xi could sense the blood-soaked filth hidden beneath this ornate sect — the screams buried beneath their marble floors.
He was no saint. But for a sect like this, crossing his path was nothing short of courting death.
Zhang Genzhuang's expression hardened. His aged hands trembled upon his cane, but his tone sharpened with defiance.
"Heh… you think we're that easy to bully? Our Sect Master is dead, yet we still stand together. Don't push too far! Withdraw now, and half our sect's treasures are yours. Otherwise… we'll all burn together!"
Liu Xi smiled faintly, shaking his head. "Xian'er, I'll leave them to you. These people are steeped in sin — show no rcy."
Xiao Yixian nodded softly. "Understood."
Her aura flared — vast, crushing, and poisonous. The overwhelming pressure descended like a divine storm, forcing every Desire Immortal Sect elder to stagger backward, their faces pale with terror.
Zhang Genzhuang's knuckles whitened around his cane as he barked through gritted teeth, "A brat, and two little sluts, daring to destroy my sect? You think we'll just roll over and die? Elders! Deacons! Form the Yin-Yang Reversal Formation!"
"Yes!"
In an instant, the three Dou Huang elders and eleven Dou Wang deacons roared their response. Their bodies flickered outward, spreading across the courtyard into fixed positions.
Streams of Dou Qi shot skyward, intertwining into a vast, glowing network. Intricate formation lines shimred into existence — a massive array spanning hundreds of ters, with elders as the cores and disciples as the anchors.
A gigantic barrier fell from the heavens, cloaking the sect in black. Daylight dimd into night; the air grew heavy, oppressive, suffocating.
Liu Xi's brows furrowed as an unsettling heat crept through his body. The Dou Qi within him felt sluggish, his mind hazy, and a tingling pleasure pulsed beneath his skin.
'What is this…?'
This wasn't a normal defense array. It was vile — tainted.
"Big Brother," Zi Yan whimpered, her violet eyes glowing faintly pink. "I feel so hot… my head's spinning… I wanna hug you…"
"Behave." Liu Xi flicked her forehead, forcing a smile despite the heat clawing at him. "This isn't the ti to play."
anwhile, Xiao Yixian raised her hand, her jade-like fingers slicing through the air. A shockwave of Dou Qi erupted, slamming into the sky barrier.
Boom!
The heavens trembled.
Disciples at the formation's base scread, blood spurting from their mouths. The weaker ones crumpled where they stood, their life force drained to sustain the array.
The elders and deacons forming the cores grimaced, their Dou Qi violently fluctuating as they bore the backlash of Xiao Yixian's attack.
At the center, Zhang Genzhuang snarled, all pretense gone.
"You ungrateful wretches! I was willing to spare you, yet you keep pushing ! Fine — we'll all die together!"
He slamd his cane against the ground, surging his Dou Qi into the array.
"Hold the formation! Even if you die, trap them inside! Once the array fully activates, their Dou Qi will be sealed, their bodies numbed — and that poisonous woman will bear a son! Hahaha!"
Xiao Yixian's voice cut through his laughter like a blade. "Young Master, this formation is infused with the sa corrupt energy as Zhang Erhe's demonic technique. If we don't break it soon, it'll consu us from within."
Liu Xi clenched his fists, feeling his body grow feverish. Xiao Yixian's delicate features blurred in his vision, dangerously alluring. Gritting his teeth, he forced his Dou Qi to circulate, burning away the invading lustful energy.
If he lost control even for an instant, the formation would suppress him completely — leaving him paralyzed and helpless.
Xiao Yixian's tone hardened. "Young Master, allow to release the Woeful Poison Body. I can destroy this formation and bring you out!"
Before Liu Xi could respond, Zi Yan chid in, her violet eyes firm. "Big Brother, don't worry! I can tear space apart at any ti. If things get bad, I'll get you and Sister Xian'er out!"
Liu Xi chuckled wryly despite the tension. "No need. I didn't storm this place to run away. This formation may be tricky — but I've got a solution."
He lifted his hand. A streak of silver light burst forth.
From that light erged a towering, dark-silver figure — broad-shouldered, expressionless, radiating brutal power.
"Ah Da," Liu Xi commanded, eyes gleaming, "break this formation. Let's see your true strength."
The Earth Demon Puppet stepped forward.
Each step shook the sky. Its tallic fist clenched, dense power compressing until the air rippled around it like liquid. Then—
BOOM!
The world exploded.
The deafening impact echoed like divine thunder, the shockwave rupturing eardrums and sending weaker disciples vomiting blood.
A massive blast of condensed air surged upward, shattering the void into spiderweb cracks. Dark energy leaked from the tears — the chaotic space currents that even Dou Zong feared to touch.
CRACK!
The barrier split open. A gaping hole spread rapidly, fractures crawling outward like lightning veins.
"Ah—!!"
Most of the disciples scread as their life force drained away. More than eighty percent of the formation's anchors died instantly, their bodies shriveled to husks.
The surviving elders spat blood, their eyes wide with terror and disbelief.
"The formation… it's broken!"
Zhang Genzhuang's body trembled violently as he vomited a mouthful of dark blood. His wrinkled face turned ashen; despair flooded his dim eyes.
But it wasn't over.
Ah Da didn't stop. Without needing another command, the silver puppet raised its fists again — one punch after another, each strike detonating like a cannon.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The sky barrier collapsed entirely, shredded into fragnts of light that disintegrated into nothingness.
By the ti the last echo faded, the entire Desire Immortal Sect lay in ruin — corpses scattered, pavilions crumbled, and not even one-tenth of its mbers still breathing.
The Desire Immortal Sect — erased from the continent in a single night.
