He then turned toward the direction of the Tager Desert, a small smile tugging at his lips as he recalled the reports he'd received. After returning, Queen dusa—now known again as Zi Ling—had unified the restless Snake-People and, with her Dou Zong strength, launched conquests that expanded their territory. Perhaps wary of him, she had restrained her tribe from provoking the Jia Ma Empire, focusing instead on conquering lands from the Mu Lan and Luo Yan Empires.
"Well, I promised not to interfere, so I won't. If fate allows, we'll et again soday. The Heavenly Alliance is now on the right path, and with Yun Yun overseeing things, I can rest easy. Still, I should leave her so protection."
Liu Xi did not descend the mountain but instead summoned Yun Yun to et him at the rear peak. When Yun Yun received the ssage, her fair cheeks turned pink, and under the envious eyes of Qing Lin and Zi Yan, she swiftly flew toward the summit.
By the ti she arrived, Liu Xi was already working, refining two corpses—both once Dou Zun experts of the Hall of Souls slain during the Pill Gathering. Yun Yun frowned slightly, montarily misunderstanding what she was seeing.
"What are you doing? Who are these two?" she asked curiously.
"They were Dou Zun from the Hall of Souls," Liu Xi said evenly. "I killed them during the Pill Gathering. I'm refining them into a few cards for you to keep."
With his current strength and flawless Spiritual Power, there was no chance of failure. Over five days of refinent, two gleaming Heavenly Demon Puppets stood before him. He motioned for Yun Yun to drop two drops of her blood onto their foreheads.
Startled by their overwhelming aura, Yun Yun quickly followed his instructions. The instant her blood touched the puppets, she sensed an uncanny link forming between them and herself. "What are these?" she asked in awe.
Liu Xi smiled. "Two Dou Zun-level Heavenly Demon Puppets. They'll serve as your guardians. Keep them hidden until you truly need them—they'll be your trump card."
Yun Yun bit her lip, eyes glimring with emotion. "This… this is too precious."
Liu Xi raised an eyebrow. "You're still saying things like that between us?"
Her cheeks flushed red as she whispered softly, "Do you… want it?"
"Of course I do!" Liu Xi's eyes instantly brightened.

The refinent took five full days, and only after another day and night did Liu Xi finally descend the mountain.
