As that silver glow flashed above the dense forest, the beasts below scattered in alarm.
Before leaving the mountains, Ye Chen kept his promise .... he returned to the territory of the Athyst Winged Lion King, intending to return its cub.
The mont Ye Chen appeared in the sky above the lion's domain, a massive beast shot upward, its aura fierce and majestic.

Through the window, he could see a gentle, beautiful figure sitting by the window .... Xiao Yixian.
Her expression was serene, yet her eyes brimd with longing.
Unaware of Ye Chen's arrival, she rested her snow-white chin on her hands and murmured softly,
"Brother Ye Chen… it's been so long since you left. I wonder if you've completed your sect mission… Brother Ye Chen, will you really co back?"
Her voice was light, but Ye Chen's cultivation made it clear as day to him.
Hearing the affection and worry in her tone, his gaze softened. Such a woman… she deserves to be cherished and protected.
"I can't stay in Qingshan Town forever," he thought. "I'll have to find a way to bring Xian'er with to the Imperial Capital.

His eyes grew firm, as though he had reached a decision.
In the next mont, Ye Chen's figure flickered and appeared in the courtyard.

Seeing him suddenly appear, Xiao Yixian's eyes brightened with joy. She rushed out of the room and threw herself into his arms.
Ye Chen smiled softly, wrapping his arms around her slender waist.
"Xian'er, what were you saying just now? How could I not co back?"
"Ah! So you were already here, listening to !" she exclaid, her cheeks flushing red. "You're terrible!"
Her delicate fists playfully thumped against his chest.
Having been apart for days, Ye Chen found himself missing her warmth more than he expected.
His hands began to wander unconsciously along her soft, graceful body.
"Mmm… you're bad… coming back and thinking of that right away," she whispered with a shy smile.
Ye Chen chuckled, scooping her up in his arms and carrying her toward the room.
Monts later, the soft candlelight flickered as a tender, passionate scene unfolded within.
When the night finally cald, Xiao Yixian lay nestled against his chest, her cheeks glowing pink, a look of complete contentnt on her face.
Gently running his fingers through her long hair, Ye Chen spoke quietly.
"Xian'er, now that my mission is complete… I'll soon have to return to the Yunlan Sect."
Her body stiffened slightly, her expression filled with surprise.
"So soon? You just got back from the Magical Beast Mountains… and now you're leaving again?"
Ye Chen's tone softened. "Xian'er, would you be willing to co with ?"
Her beautiful eyes flickered with hesitation for only a mont before she nodded firmly.
"I… I'm willing."
In that brief instant, she made a life-changing decision ....I leaving behind the town she had lived in for more than a decade, stepping into an unknown world, all for the man before her.
Ye Chen's heart ward. But then, after a pause, he said seriously,
"Xian'er, before we go… there's sothing I must tell you."
