Its twin roars split the air as the creature soared from the magma, jaws wide, fangs gleaming.
The eruption sent countless streams of lava into the air, turning the cavern into a storm of fire.
"Finally," Ye Chen murmured, his eyes lighting up. "So it shows itself…"
Without fear, he barked a sharp command. "Yao Lao.....capture it alive!"
"Yes, Master!" ca Yao Lao's resonant reply.
The old spirit shot forward instantly. Below, the twin-headed Fire Spirit Serpent coiled its body, the space between its two necks swelling grotesquely as if it were preparing to unleash sothing terrible.
As Yao Lao charged, both of the serpent's maws gaped open, spewing twin torrents of molten fire.
The two blazing pillars shot upward like volcanic eruptions, rushing toward Ye Chen and Yao Lao with devastating force.
Yao Lao rely lifted one palm. A ripple of invisible energy spread outward from his hand, forming a translucent barrier before him.
When the magma beams struck, they detonated prematurely.....fiery streams spilling around the barrier like waves crashing against a cliff.
The heat tinted the shield crimson but failed to penetrate.
"Unh… hissss!"
Seeing its attack thwarted, the Fire Spirit Serpent's eyes burned with fury.
It darted sideways, intelligent enough to flank the barrier, and lunged again with snapping jaws.
"Beast!" Yao Lao roared.
He t the creature's charge head-on, his spectral palm slamming down with crushing force.
The serpent's crimson scales shattered under the blow, fragnts scattering as dark red blood seeped from the cracks and evaporated into the lava below.
"Hisss! Hisssss!"
The serpent shrieked, thrashing violently. Its massive tails whipped through the molten lake, sending waves of fire surging upward.
The two heads lifted high, their blood-red eyes gleaming with rage.
A deep crimson fla began to coil around its body, rising higher and higher until it filled the cavern with its glow.
Then—
Boom!
The crimson blaze whirled violently, twisting into a spinning vortex of fire.
From within that inferno, ten phantom serpents erged.....each one twin-headed, each wreathed in fla, each nearly as massive as the original.
Their eyes glead like molten jewels, their bodies slithering in a frenzy of heat and fury.
They hissed as one, their combined roar echoing through the underground world. The very air trembled under the sound.
Then, as if obeying so unspoken command, the fiery serpents aligned into a burning formation and charged toward Yao Lao in a blazing storm.
"Hahaha! What a fine tonic this beast's fla will make!" Yao Lao laughed, exhilaration in his voice.
In an instant, white fire burst from his body...pure and deathly cold.
The Bone Spirit Cold Fla surged outward, forming a towering white wall that clashed against the oncoming sea of red.
The mont the fiery serpents touched the wall, their bodies sizzled and vanished into nothingness.
Their fla essence was devoured completely by the white inferno.
Hiss…"
The fiery serpent stared in disbelief as its own flas were devoured by the spectral figure hovering in the air.
Within the twin-headed Fire Spirit Serpent's enormous crimson eyes flashed a rare glimr of fear.....an instinctive terror that told it this phantom was beyond anything it could resist.
The mont it realized that, both of its heads twisted violently downward, its massive body churning through the molten sea. It sought only to dive into the magma below and flee.
"You think you can escape?"
A cold sneer curved across Yao Chen's face. Ye Chen had ordered him to capture the serpent alive...if it got away now, that would be a disaster.
The instant the serpent moved, Yao Chen stepped forward, his body flickering like a shadow.
In the blink of an eye, he appeared beneath one of the serpent's enormous heads and swung a powerful kick upward.
Boom!
The strike landed with such force that one of the serpent's heads nearly snapped from its body.
The beast's montum faltered; its descent halted and was violently hurled back above the magma's surface.
Without hesitation, Yao Chen ford a complex seal with his fingers.
Ripples of invisible power spread out, forming a spatial cage that wrapped around the serpent's enormous form, sealing it completely.

Seeing Yao Chen succeed, Ye Chen led Qing Lin swiftly toward the bound Fire Spirit Serpent.
"Hisss!"
As the two approached, the maddened serpent gaped its fanged maw, its tongue flicking out, venomous intent radiating from every scale.
"Ah!"
Even though it couldn't break free from the spatial prison, its terrifying presence alone was enough to make Qing Lin cry out in fear. She lowered her head, trembling, too afraid to look.
