The sight of it stirred a rare trace of joy in her chest.
"When has Master ever lied to you?" Ye Chen chuckled and gently placed the Purple Electric Marten into her hands.
"Little one," he said with a hint of amusent, "from now on, you'll stay here with… this sister."
Ye Chen had originally intended to say "mistress," but the word stopped at the edge of his tongue.
Xiao Xun'er was, after all, nothing more than his slave girl. In his eyes, she was far from worthy of such a title.
Perhaps… only after she had borne him several children would she have the right to be called "Mistress."

After making sure she was settled, Ye Chen asked if she needed anything else, brought her so daily necessities, and then left the small world.

Back at the manor, Ya Fei had already woken up. Her complexion looked much better, but her eyes narrowed in suspicion as soon as she saw him.
She took in his scent, her plump chest rising slightly with the movent, the curves forming an almost sinful silhouette.
"Brother Ye Chen," she said with a half-smile that didn't reach her eyes, "you've really turned bad. Tell honestly.....do you have another woman outside?"
There was still a faint fragrance clinging to him, one she instantly recognized was not her own. The thought of it made her heart twist with a twinge of jealousy.
With her quick wit, she didn't need much to guess that Ye Chen had been with soone else.
It wasn't that Ya Fei couldn't accept the idea of him having other won.....she knew the kind of man he was....but what irked her was his restlessness.
He had only been in Wutan City for a few days, and she was right here at his side… yet he still couldn't resist going out to find another. The bastard was insatiable.
Faced with her sharp questioning, Ye Chen's expression stiffened slightly.
"Sister Ya Fei, don't overthink. Things aren't what you think they are."
She raised a brow. "Oh? Did that old fox Gu Ni put you up to sothing?"
Ye Chen had just opened his mouth to explain when Ya Fei's expression shifted, her eyes narrowing as her teeth clenched in restrained fury.
He paused, then let out a small sigh and said, half-admitting, half-deflecting,
"That's right… if that old fox hadn't tempted over and over again, how could I have made such a mistake?"
Her beautiful face frosted over in an instant.
"What a shaless old man! I'm going to settle this with him!"
Before Ye Chen could even finish speaking, Ya Fei had already spun on her heel, her curvaceous figure swaying as she stord out of the room, heels clicking like the drums of war.
