"Please, no more," Roxy demanded.
But the soft, breathless giggle that escaped her lips completely ruined her serious tone. She tugged playfully at the smooth black silk tying her right wrist to the heavy wooden headboard, and then she pulled gently at the expensive string of glowing white pearls tying her left wrist. She couldn’t escape, and she didn’t really want to.
Ren let out a low, totally wicked laugh. The handso fox walked over to the edge of the mattress and let his white towel drop completely onto the thick rug.
"You are our Matriarch," Ren whispered, crawling onto the bed. His bright purple eyes were completely filled with a heavy, hypnotic heat. "A true Queen never begs for rcy. Especially not from her humble servants."
Syris chuckled smoothly from the other side of her body. "He is absolutely right. We are just doing our duty, my heart. We have to make sure you are thoroughly welcod to your new castle."
What happened next was an absolute, beautiful sensory overload.
The contrast between the two n was totally amazing. Syris was perfectly elegant and completely precise. He used his brilliant, calculating mind to know exactly where to press his lips and exactly how much pressure to use to make her gasp. The cool, heavy pearls tied to her left wrist clicked softly against the dark wood as she arched her back into his touch.
On the other side, Ren was a total master of pure, unfiltered seduction. He didn’t have his Beastworld magic anymore, but he didn’t need it at all. His fiery red hair, his deep purple eyes, and the totally devoted way he looked at her were entirely hypnotic. He used his hot, sliding hands and his sweet, whispery voice to drive her completely over the edge.
She was drowning in the feeling of smooth silk, cold pearls, and incredibly warm skin. They whispered beautiful praises into her ears, calling her their goddess, their beautiful wife, and their ho. They worshipped her for hours, taking their ti, making sure she forgot every single sad mory she had ever had.
They didn’t stop until the very last drop of her energy was completely gone.
When the wild, incredible claiming of the new mansion finally finished, the room was totally quiet. The crackling fire had burned down to soft, glowing red embers. Outside the giant windows, the sun was just starting to peek over the tall green pine trees.
Syris gently untied the black silk and the white pearls, rubbing her tired wrists with sweet, gentle kisses. Ren pulled her tight against his warm chest, wrapping the thick, heavy blankets completely around them both to keep the morning chill away. Roxy was totally, completely exhausted. She couldn’t even keep her green eyes open. But as she fell asleep listening to the strong, steady thumping of Ren’s heart, her entire soul was glowing with pure, undeniable happiness.
When Roxy finally opened her eyes again, the bright afternoon sun was shining through the giant windows.
Her entire body felt like a pool of warm, heavy honey. Her muscles were wonderfully, delightfully sore, and a soft, happy smile was permanently glued to her face. She stretched her legs under the soft silk sheets and let out a happy little sigh.
She didn’t even try to get out of the massive bed. She didn’t have to.
The six Kings spent the entire day completely pampering her. They refused to let her lift a single finger. They treated her like the most precious, fragile treasure in the entire universe.
Caspian walked into the bedroom carrying a giant silver tray loaded with food. There were fluffy yellow eggs, crispy bacon, huge bowls of fresh strawberries, and tall glasses of sweet, cold orange juice. The sweet Sea King sat on the edge of the bed and happily fed her tiny bites with a silver fork so she wouldn’t even have to sit up all the way.
Zarek climbed onto the bed behind her, pulling her back so she could lean comfortably against his massive, warm chest. The Dragon King used his huge hands to gently rub her sore shoulders, working out all the tight knots in her muscles.
Torian grabbed a big, thick book from the private library down the hall. The giant White Tiger sat on the floor near the bed and read her silly adventure stories, making totally ridiculous, funny voices for all the characters that made Roxy laugh until her tummy actually hurt.
Kaelen brought warm, damp, sweet-slling towels to gently wash her flushed face. Syris grabbed a silver brush and sat beside her, gently brushing her wild, dark curls until they were perfectly smooth and shiny.
It was a day of pure, absolute luxury.
The giant stone mansion didn’t feel like a scary, empty castle anymore. It slled like them. It felt warm, completely safe, and totally full of loud, ssy, wonderful love. It was finally, truly their ho.
A few weeks passed in pure, quiet billionaire bliss.
Life on the private mountain fell into a perfect, happy routine. The Kings would go down into the human city a few days a week to make sure their newly conquered empire was running smoothly. They kept the bad guys far away from the streets and made sure nobody ever looked twice at their mountain.
During the day, while they were gone, Roxy explored the massive estate. She swam in the warm indoor pool, walked through the beautiful, quiet pine forest with Mr. Vance and the giant security guards trailing safely behind her, and spent hours in her massive closet trying on all the beautiful, sparkly dresses.
Whenever Lira ca over to visit, the two best friends spent the whole day eating sweet chocolate, getting professional massages from the spa staff, and watching movies on a television screen that was literally as big as a wall.
Every evening, her giant husbands ca ho. The scary mafia bosses would instantly lt into giant, loving teddy bears the second they walked through the front doors. They would eat massive, delicious feasts in the dining room, cuddle closely in front of the warm stone fireplaces, and fall asleep tangled tightly together in the giant master bed.
Everything was finally perfect. There were no monsters hiding in the dark. There was no scary ex-husband waiting for her in the city. There was no terrible fever. There was just absolute, quiet peace.
But one morning, that beautiful peace completely shattered.
The master bedroom was totally dark. The sun hadn’t even started to rise yet, and the air in the room was cool and quiet. The only sound was the soft, heavy breathing of the six Kings sleeping soundly in the massive bed. Roxy was tucked safely between Zarek and Kaelen, wrapped totally in the warm silk sheets.
Suddenly, Roxy’s eyes snapped wide open in the pitch black.
A terrible, sour wave of nausea hit her stomach. It hit her so hard and so fast that it made her head completely spin.
This wasn’t the sad, emotional sickness she had felt when she was missing her babies. This was a sudden, violent, totally physical sickness that completely took over her body. Her mouth instantly filled with a thick, bitter taste. Her skin turned ice-cold and clammy in a single second.
She slapped both of her hands tightly over her mouth. She didn’t want to wake the n up, and she absolutely did not want to be sick in the middle of their beautiful bed.
Roxy quickly and carefully scrambled out from under the heavy blankets. Her bare feet hit the thick rug, but her legs felt completely weak and shaky, like they were made of wet noodles.
She swallowed hard, fighting the terrible, burning feeling rising in her throat. She ran as fast as she could across the giant, dark bedroom, totally ignoring the dizzy spinning in her head.
She pushed the heavy wooden doors of the massive marble bathroom open. She didn’t even have ti to reach for the light switch on the wall.
Roxy dropped hard onto her knees right in front of the cold porcelain toilet. She grabbed the smooth edges of the bowl, her knuckles turning completely white as her stomach painfully twisted itself into a tight knot.
And then, she violently threw up.
