The entire Great Mountain was extrely vast, with precipitous peaks rising like pillars holding up the sky, piercing the clouds. Occasionally, the sounds of ferocious beasts could be heard from within.
In a section of the Primitive Forest within the mountain, a pink mist perated everywhere. This mist was extrely peculiar, difficult even for Spiritual Power to penetrate. Within this mist, there was also a chilling cold.
In the deepest part of the forest, there was a massive dark cavern. Around this cavern, the pink mist was equally thick, and inside the cavern, it grew even denser, making it difficult to see even a ter ahead.
At the deepest part of the cavern, there was a throne made of white fur.
Upon the throne lay a fox covered in white fur. The weak sunlight filtered through the pink mist, casting a delicate glow on the white fox’s body.
Beneath the throne, there were three long white tails.
This white fox was a Three-tailed Fox Demon.
Suddenly.
The previously lazy fox snapped its pink eyes open. Those eyes were filled with seduction, full of allure. The three tails beneath the throne began to sway spontaneously, very excited.
"This is... this is the Kunpeng Essence Blood!"
The Three-tailed Fox Demon exclaid excitedly, its eyes fixed on the direction of the Great Wilderness Border Village.
"I never thought that in such a borderland, there would actually be Kunpeng Essence Blood that only existed in ancient tis. It seems heaven is helping ; it wants to break through to four tails, five tails, or even six tails."
But soon, it cald down, "However, beside this Kunpeng Essence Blood, there’s also the aura of that dumb ape. It seems it got there first."
Then, an extrely human-like smile appeared on its lips.
"No worries, with that dumb ape’s mind, even if the Kunpeng Essence Blood is beside it, as long as it hasn’t absorbed it, there’s still a chance!"
Instantly, a gust of pink wind swept past the throne, and the Three-tailed Fox Demon vanished within, its whereabouts unknown.
...
Great Mountain.
Deep in the bamboo forest.
The Tiger General stood holding a Demon Blade in front of the cave where the Snake King slumbered, his fierce eyes vigilantly scanning the surroundings, the Bear General beside him equally on guard, leaving no room for slack.
anwhile, the four Guardians: Jackal, Wolf, Tiger, and Leopard, diligently poured Demon Bones and Demon Blood into a nearby blood-colored lake.
Suddenly.
An ancient and ferocious aura emanated from a distance, sweeping across the entire bamboo forest. Although the aura was quite faint, the Tiger and Bear Generals clearly felt it, as did the four Guardians.
In an instant, the actions of the four Guardians halted, their hearts unconsciously beginning to stir with excitent, as though rely sensing that aura ignited an excitent deep within their bloodlines.
The Tiger General felt the sa in his heart, but he still suppressed his inner excitent and glanced at the Bear General.
"This aura seems like the ancient Kunpeng Bloodline."
The Tiger General’s voice was low but loud enough for the Bear General and the four Guardians to hear.
The four Guardians, upon hearing this, further affird their inner assumptions.
"This is indeed the aura of the Kunpeng," the Bear General said with so surprise, "I never expected that in such a borderland, there would be such an ancient bloodline."
"Then..."
The Tiger General was sowhat itching for action.
After all, that was the Kunpeng Bloodline, even though they were not raptors. Once absorbed, it might be possible to activate their own ancient bloodlines, ultimately achieving atavism.
To be honest, the Bear General also had so ideas in mind, glancing into the cave where the Snake King was sleeping, he quickly made a decision.
"Forget it!" The Bear General’s tone was sowhat regretful, clearly making this decision required considerable determination.
"The aura of this Kunpeng Bloodline isn’t very strong, obviously just absorbed and not yet fully absorbed. Such a Kunpeng Bloodline, if divided between the two of us, wouldn’t reach the conditions for atavism."
"The most important goal now is to wait until the Snake King Awakens. As long as the Snake King successfully awakens, the benefits we gain would far surpass what the Kunpeng Bloodline could provide."
The Tiger General, hearing this, also felt it was regrettable, but he had to admit that the Bear General made a valid point.
"Since that’s the case, then forget it. Besides, the aura of that White Ape is nearby, it seems to have discovered it first."
"With the White Ape’s strength, without us intervening, it wouldn’t take much ti for it to obtain the Kunpeng Bloodline."
"After it absorbs it, we can take it back from it."
During the ti the Snake King has been in the Great Mountain, sleeping, they had long since thoroughly understood the demon beasts here and were very clear about the White Ape’s strength.
Even after absorbing the Kunpeng Essence, in the short term, it would only slightly enhance its strength. Achieving bloodline atavism would still require ti.
Even if the White Ape’s cultivation increased, it still wouldn’t be a match for the two Generals.
The remaining four Guardians, hearing this, also felt a pang of disappointnt, but considering the cultivation of the two Generals there, if they left without permission, it would an certain death, so they simply gave up the idea.
The Kunpeng Essence Blood was completely out of their reach.
...
At the deep pit.
The powerful impact raised the surrounding yellow earth, turning into dust that scattered in the air, obscuring the scene within, with only the sound of the White Ape being heard.
Though the scene was obstructed by the dust, through it, a large silhouette could be vaguely seen, bearing a thick Stone Rod on its back, its muscular arms holding sothing in each hand, one on the left and one on the right.
