A miniature version of the [Kunpeng Illusion] appeared within the mind. As soon as it appeared, the coldness within dissipated instantly, restoring its previous state; however, the vague red mist still lingered, like an unwavering shadow.
The [Kunpeng Illusion] saw the vague red mist and treated it as a formidable foe, eyes glowing with a red, violent aura, as it stared intensely at the mist.
"Screech!"
A thick screeching sound echoed in the Peregrine Falcon’s mind. The next instant, the Kunpeng Illusion moved as if it teleported, appearing imdiately before the red mist, its steel-like claws fiercely striking at the red mist.
This strike seed to be a physical attack, but in essence, it was the subconscious potential of the [Kunpeng Bloodline] within the Peregrine Falcon, filled with imnse spiritual power.
After all, the [Kunpeng Bloodline] cos from the Great Demons of ancient tis, dominating its domain. Although the Peregrine Falcon was currently weak, it was a raptor with Kunpeng Bloodline. Even if weak, it would not permit unknown entities to intrude into its mind.
This strike scattered the red mist, seemingly unable to respond.
Seeing this, the Peregrine Falcon imdiately relaxed, yet in the next mont, the red mist reford once more.
The Kunpeng Illusion did not hesitate, striking again, and the red mist dissipated once more.
Just as the Peregrine Falcon thought it was over, the red mist reford again, like an indelible shadow lingering in its mind.
The red mist that lingered within the mind stayed quietly, seemingly mocking.
The next mont.
The red mist began to condense slowly into a massive claw, identical to the claw the Kunpeng Illusion struck against it with.
The next instant, the red claw appeared before the Kunpeng Illusion, imitating the Kunpeng Illusion’s strike on the red mist, striking fiercely at the Kunpeng Illusion.
"Buzz!"
A sound like vibrations echoed within the Peregrine Falcon’s mind, and the Kunpeng Illusion began trembling.
"Bang!"
A crisp shattering sound erupted loudly.
The miniature Kunpeng Illusion shattered imdiately.
Outside.
The Peregrine Falcon’s body stood still at the mont the Kunpeng Illusion shattered, unmoving; the Kunpeng Illusion behind it instantly dissipated, and its expanded body returned to normal.
Xu Ran, enveloped in Innate Qi, imdiately turned his head, looking towards the Peregrine Falcon’s position.
Suddenly, his brows furrowed.
"Little White’s soul seems to be frozen... devoid of any life force..."
Xu Ran’s Innate Qi continuously moved over the Peregrine Falcon’s body, attempting to explore the reason behind the Peregrine Falcon’s condition.
The strands of white and pure Innate Qi entered the Peregrine Falcon’s body, but after a lengthy investigation, it found no issue whatsoever.
"It must be a problem related to the soul!"
Xu Ran murmured softly.
If the body had no issues, then it had to be the soul.
Although the Peregrine Falcon possessed [Kunpeng Bloodline] within it, containing the subconscious of Kunpeng, capable of protecting the Peregrine Falcon’s consciousness from being possessed.
However, in this valley, several creatures of levels comparable to the Kunpeng had surfaced. Moreover, the Peregrine Falcon’s cultivation was too low to even oppose the initial snake-bone monster. So, the defeat of the Kunpeng subconscious within the Peregrine Falcon was a regular occurrence.
Xu Ran could only speculate the outco of matters, but he was at a loss regarding how to restore the Peregrine Falcon’s soul.
The next mont.
Xu Ran’s gaze fell upon the red mist facing the Peregrine Falcon.
"It seems the root of everything lies in that red mist."
Upon finishing his words.
The valley floor suddenly quaked, and the grand chasm, initially created by powerful collisions, expanded further at this mont, causing countless debris to fall downward, without a sound, as if into a bottomless pit.
"Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!"
Simultaneously, a hissing sound akin to a snake erged once more from beneath the chasm, with the red mist emanating once more, drifting within the valley.
Xu Ran’s mind moved, and he imdiately soared through the air, hovering above as a massive gap opened where he stood, causing a torrent of debris to tumble down.
Xu Ran glanced downward, seeing an endless darkness like a black hole, unfathomable in depth, even with Innate Qi glowing in his eyes.
"This commotion, could it be caused by an unknown creature beneath?"
Xu Ran pondered.
After so consideration, Xu Ran’s eyes glowed with golden light, glancing toward the Peregrine Falcon suspended in mid-air.
"It seems, to rescue Little White, starting underground is the only option!"
"This commotion suggests the ergence of an unknown creature below!"
The split expansion of the valley hinted at sothing erging below that forced open the earth anew, causing it to quake once more.
Xu Ran’s golden-glowing eyes fixated on the newly appearing chasm, attempting to see through everything within.
Just like a saying goes:
You stare into the solidified abyss, and the abyss stares into solidifying you.
As Xu Ran’s gaze focused on the darkness below.
Suddenly.
Dozens of scarlet lights erged from the previously void darkness, casting an endless chill like they’ve just returned from Hell; a re glance seed to freeze souls, halting thoughts from progressing.
In the Sea of Spirit.
The once ocean-like golden sea was now entirely frozen into ice, the whole Sea of Spirit shared the sa fate.
A complete Immortal Sword suspended above the ocean was also embedded within, and even its golden glow dimd.
At this mont, Xu Ran’s thoughts felt suspended, yet only montarily. Innate Qi surged endlessly from the sky into the frozen ocean.
In rely a breath, the frozen Sea of Spirit thawed, and the ocean flowed again.
At this mont.
Xu Ran’s consciousness restored anew, once again looking at the dozens of scarlet glows below.
"These are snake eyes; I’d never mistake them!"
Upon regaining his senses, Xu Ran recognized imdiately what these dozen scarlet glows belonged to.
Snakes, creatures haunting him since birth into the Origin Realm. Beginning with the [Poisonous Snake Village Massacre] at age one, onto [Snake King Awakening], and the recent snake-bone monster...
In under two years, Xu Ran had countless encounters with serpents, and understood exactly how snake eyes appeared.
"However, what kind of serpent could erge in this valley, following the White Tiger and red figure?"
An inquiry arose in Xu Ran’s mind.
The White Tiger.
A Great Demon from the ancient tis, equivalent in stature to Kunpeng; and the red figure, though its identity unknown, evidently spoke of soone once standing at the pinnacle.
Even so, this snake erged after them, suggesting frightful capabilities?
"Moreover, there’s ten pairs of scarlet eyes now, indicating ten snakes appearing."
Yet another disproportionate nurical challenge, Xu Ran standing alone against ten serpents, whose abilities seemingly froze souls.
Though Xu Ran previously overca resurrected creatures, those did not touch on the realm of the soul.
This ti, facing unfamiliar domains and simultaneous opponents, while tasked with awakening the Peregrine Falcon.
The pressure on Xu Ran is substantial!
