Cheng Su gazed at Qi Taiguo’s worried expression, along with a subtle expectation, as he was looking at her, waiting for her.
Cheng Su averted her eyes, how to say, how to explain that she was a ghostly soul from another world, not soone born and raised here?
Would he believe such a ridiculous thing? If she hadn’t experienced it herself, she wouldn’t dare believe that such a thing could happen!
Such mystical matters, not from ancient tis, how to believe? They would only think she’s crazy!
"I just suddenly feel a little tired," Cheng Su smiled briefly, saying, "Could you bring the dicine? I’ll take one and nap for a while, is that okay?"

Qi Taiguo felt a bit hurt, bringing the dicine for her to take, then accompanied her back to the room to lie down.
He fixed the corners of the quilt for her and said, "Don’t think too much, you should know, I’m here by your side, I’m right here. As long as you are willing, I’m here waiting for you!"
Cheng Su showed him a smile, reaching out to hold his hand, asking, "Would you lie down with for a while?"
Her mind was a bit chaotic, not knowing how to sort out the tangled threads of emotions; she wants to know who abandoned her, yet is afraid to truly know if the abandoned self really exists, who is she now? And if not, then where did she co from?
She arrived in this world, becoming soone else, what was the reason?
Chaotic, tangled threads, Cheng Su’s head began to throb with pain.
"Okay." Qi Taiguo kicked off his shoes, lay sideways, patting her body, saying, "I’m right here, sleep now!"
Cheng Su closed her eyes, letting out a long breath, perhaps she really was a bit tired, or maybe because he was by her side, soon her breathing beca regular.
Qi Taiguo listened to her breathing, knowing she had fallen asleep, watching her sleeping face, even in slumber, her brows furrowed slightly, so he reached out to smooth her brows.
"What is it that keeps you from peace even in sleep?" Qi Taiguo murmured.
No one answered him; only her gentle breathing responded.
Qi Taiguo closed his eyes, pondering why her emotions suddenly changed.
What triggered it? She was quite excited talking about the company’s charity work, he ntioned the orphanage, and she responded about having been in an orphanage, then the conversation stopped, and her deanor changed!
Used to be in an orphanage?
Qi Taiguo sat up, when was she in an orphanage, isn’t she not an orphan?
But surely she rembered sothing when talking about that, what could it be?
Qi Taiguo looked at her sleeping face, surprised to see a tear slip from the corner of her eye.
He wiped away that tear, feeling the moisture in his hand, again asked, "Susu, what is your secret?"
