Qi Taiguo saw the look in Chiang Qing’s eyes, his pupils deepened, half of his face turned dark, and his hand hanging at his side clenched. His lips pressed into a line, staring at her coldly.
His thoughts, Chiang Qing knew, the more she smiled on the surface, the more desolate her heart felt.
If he could, he wouldn’t save her!
He saved her simply because of the military uniform.
"Tie up all those not dead and send them to the police." Qi Taiguo moved his gaze away and barked coldly.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, a sharp glint flashed by.
Not good!
Bang!
"Ah ah!" Chiang Qing scread.
In her hand, a sharp dagger was already embedded, while the assailant, a separatist, was half-leaning on her leg, a bullet hole piercing through his head, already dead.
Qi Taiguo rushed over, holding a pistol, kicked the separatist with his foot to ensure he was completely dead, then pulled him away and looked at Chiang Qing.
What his peripheral vision caught just now was the glint of this dagger, and the separatist he knocked out hadn’t been tied up yet, unexpectedly awakening so quickly and attacking Chiang Qing with a knife.
It was at the critical mont that Qi Taiguo shot and killed him, but as the man was dying, he pushed hard, and the dagger ended up piercing the back of Chiang Qing’s hand which she used to shield her chest.
Chiang Qing continued to scream.
The dagger was sharp, and her hand bled profusely.

Chiang Qing opened her eyes, saw him, and abruptly stopped screaming. Her eyes fell on the shiny dagger buried in her hand, her face drained of color, and her body went limp.
Qi Taiguo supported her, and at this ti, dical staff had already rushed over, going pale upon seeing this.
"Pull out the knife first," Qi Taiguo said.

Chiang Qing shivered in pain.

"Send her to the hospital!" Qi Taiguo didn’t answer her, just instructed the dical staff.
"Soone, bring a stretcher."
Chiang Qing’s hand was stabilized, with the dagger brilliantly embedded on the back, an appalling sight.
"Xiao Chiang." Secretary Gao had regained consciousness and his face dramatically changed seeing the dagger on Chiang Qing’s hand.
Chiang Qing seed not to hear anything, seeing Qi Taiguo stand up, she completely fainted.
Qi Taiguo watched Chiang Qing being carried onto the stretcher and taken away. He stood with his hands behind his back, only turning his gaze after she disappeared from sight. No one knew what he was thinking, but assud he was displeased having such an incident occur at the final mont.
But only Qi Taiguo himself knew, he was pleased, as Chiang Qing said, seeing her injured, was personally satisfying.
Not for any reason, just personal vendetta, so it made him happy.
As for whether he would be accused of negligence, that would be discussed later; for now, he was very pleased.
