Little Yu watched Cheng Su and Niannian talking. She didn’t know what they said, but Niannian giggled, and her pale little face had a touch of color. Little Yu couldn’t help but smile as well.
"Taiguo, you’ve married a good wife!" Little Yu looked at Qi Taiguo and said, "She is wonderful. She will surely be a good mother in the future."
Qi Taiguo looked over and saw Cheng Su genuinely smiling, then nodded and said, "She is quite attentive to the children."

Qi Taiguo felt honored and proud to have her.

Calling Cheng Su, Little Yu escorted them out of the ward. Cheng Su took three Great Unity RMB bills from her bag and stuffed them into Little Yu’s hand, "Sister-in-law, take this money to buy the child so nourishing food. She is too thin!"

She didn’t ntion Platoon Leader Zheng, or talk about repaynt, only about the child. Everyone knew the reason for the money, but by not saying it, they preserved so dignity for all.
