The whole family was running around for Qi Fengping’s ss. Naturally, Father Qi had to find out Zhou Qiang’s whereabouts. His reason was that he had previously asked Zhou Qiang for help and hadn’t thanked him yet, and now that he’s gone, he just wanted to ask around.
anwhile, the Qi family was also in a state of gloom and doom.
Qi Fengping had long since hidden in her room, with such a carefree attitude that left Cheng Su speechless. Clearly, she was the one involved; she should be the most anxious, yet oddly, she seed to care the least.

As soon as Father Qi ca ho, his face was dark and he gulped down several large glasses of water.
"So, where’s that bastard? Can you find him?" Mother Qi eagerly stepped forward to ask.
Qi Fengping’s door also opened, and she stood shrunk in the doorway, watching her father.
"He’s in Tong County, used to be an accountant, reportedly sent for reform due to embezzlent. As for whether he’s married or not, I’m not sure yet, but I heard his family arranged a match for him!" Father Qi said with a grim face.
Cheng Su’s eyebrows furrowed slightly.

"Dad, are you sure Zhou Qiang went back to work in Tong County or what?" Cheng Su asked.
"I don’t know the details yet. I’m thinking of going to check tomorrow," Father Qi replied.
Cheng Su nodded, "It’s hard for you to go alone. How about I go with you tomorrow?"
"I’ll go with Dad, sister-in-law, you’re a woman," Qi Jianguo interjected.
"Let Jianguo go with . It’s quite far to Tong County," Father Qi thought for a mont and agreed with Qi Jianguo’s suggestion.
Cheng Su could only let it go, hesitated for a mont, and then asked, "Dad, do you think we should tell Taiguo about this? See what he thinks?"
"Yes, contact Taiguo," Mother Qi finally rembered, straightening her back with a jolt.
Such a big matter can’t be hidden from Qi Taiguo, and seeing Father Qi nod, Cheng Su made a call ho. But she assud Qi Taiguo, who she thought was in Qing City, was actually still recuperating in the Capital, so how could he answer her call?
No one answered at ho, so Cheng Su called Qi Taiguo’s office, but still no one answered, making her puzzled.
She glanced at her wristwatch, it was three o’clock, it didn’t make sense for him to be in training at this ti.
"What’s wrong, no answer?" Mother Qi asked anxiously, seeing Cheng Su hang up the phone.
Cheng Su recalled that Qi Taiguo had ntioned possibly going to holiday preparedness, so she said, "He’s not there, maybe he went for holiday preparedness, he should be back tomorrow!" She felt a slight unease, having just completed a mission and he still needed to go for holiday preparedness?
Mother Qi couldn’t hide her disappointnt.
"I’ll call again later!" Cheng Su said.
"Forget it, let’s go to Tong County tomorrow and see what’s going on before making any plans!" Father Qi said tiredly.
It could only be this way.
The whole family had not a trace of a smile, even the dinner was tasteless. After tidying up, they each returned to their rooms to rest. Yet when Cheng Su got up in the middle of the night, she found the lights still on in her in-laws’ room and could faintly hear their conversation, she couldn’t help but sigh.
When such a big thing happens, sleepless nights are inevitable.
Now the hope is that Zhou Qiang isn’t married yet, but even if he isn’t, would Qi Fengping really be happy marrying him?
