Chiang Qing held back her anger and repression, and took deep breaths at the prison gate.
She took a few big gulps of air before getting into the car and instructed, "To the won’s prison!"
She couldn’t be hasty, couldn’t panic, she had more important things to do.
"Miss, the old man instructed..."
"I said go to the won’s prison. The old man told you to follow , so go where I say! Now, drive right away." Chiang Qing glared fiercely at the person.
The two sitting at the front exchanged glances, and could only buckle their seat belts, silently driving towards the destination Chiang Qing ntioned.
Chiang Qing gazed out the car window, her hands clenched into fists placed on her knees, her face dark as a rain cloud.
When she saw Lu Shufen appear in the visitation room, Chiang Qing had a mont of disbelief. Was this her pampered, dignified mother? Short, ssy hair, now half gray, a face full of wrinkles, sallow and dull skin, resembling a peasant woman.
Lu Shufen saw her daughter and dashed over: "Qingqing!"
"Sit down!" The guard blocked Lu Shufen, shouted harshly, and pointed to her designated seat.
Lu Shufen’s heart trembled, and she could only sit down, staring eagerly at Chiang Qing, anxiously asking, "Qingqing, why are you here? Are you alright? Weren’t you supposed to be in the ntal hospital?"
Chiang Qing’s face slightly darkened; her mother knew where she was but didn’t rescue her, and resentnt surged high again.
"Your father is a beast, he deceived , said you went to the United States, but it wasn’t true. That bastard put you in such a place, he deserves a thousand deaths, he won’t have a good end!" Lu Shufen’s tears flowed profusely.
Chiang Qing felt stirred: "You didn’t know?"
"What did I know? He said he sent you to the United States, even showed photos. Later, Jiang Dafang told you were taken to a ntal hospital. He deceived , this liar, he’s not human!" Lu Shufen cursed.
Chiang Qing’s eyes also began to moisten.
After cursing for a long ti, Lu Shufen asked, "Qingqing, how did you get out? Was it Xiao Tian who picked you up?" She glanced at the guard by the door, and whispered, "Xiao Tian’s in the United States, has he returned? Was it him who got you out? Did you suffer?"
On hearing this, Chiang Qing’s tears nearly spilled out, did she suffer?
Her suffering was more bitter than the most bitter dicine.
Chiang Qing turned her eyes away and said, "It wasn’t Xiao Tian who picked up, I don’t even know where he is!"
Lu Shufen was stunned: "Then who?"
"It was Gao Hongbo." ntioning this na, Chiang Qing almost gritted it out through her teeth, her eyes filled with plain hatred.
Gao Hongbo?
Lu Shufen was slightly shocked hearing this, then realized who it was, her father’s friend, was it really him?
That’s great, he’s also soone powerful and influential.
"That’s excellent, he’s your grandfather’s friend, with him taking care of it, mom will be relieved, you..." Lu Shufen began, just as Chiang Qing abruptly turned her head, eyes glowing with overwhelming hatred and murderous intent, causing Lu Shufen to pause, words stuck in her throat, after a while she stamred, "Qing, what’s wrong with you?"
Only then did Lu Shufen see Chiang Qing’s expression and face, so pale, like a worn-out doll without vitality, resembling a puppet, displaying an expression only of hatred and violence.
What had happened?
Why did Qingqing have this expression?
Suddenly, a thought flashed through Lu Shufen’s mind, she blurted out without thinking, "Did he do sothing to you?"
