Cheng Su thought for a mont and said, "I’ll take a cara later and snap a few photos of the child. Dad, you can take them back for mother to see as well."

Buying a cara was expensive, but recording the child’s growth was worth it. Taking so photos now, printing them, and bringing them back could relieve mother’s longing for her grandson.

Father Qi was pleased to hear of this solution: "That’s good, saves her fretting every day!"

Cheng Su smiled.

Father Cheng asked if the child had been nad yet.

Cheng Su replied, "His full na is Qi Fang, and because he was born on the Double Seven Festival, and ’Qi’ sounds like our surna, we call him Xiao Qi. Dad, what do you think?" This question was directed at Father Qi. In rural areas, families sotis have naming conventions; she was worried Father Qi might have opinions.

Father Qi thought for a mont, finding it easy to pronounce, and said, "Sure, sounds nice. You and Taiguo have decided, so it’s fine!"
