"Oh. Sister-in-law Song gave us these atballs. Do you want so? I think she’s trying very hard to nd the relationship. Look how generous she is; she wasn’t like this before..." Mother Cheng rambled on.
But Cheng Su couldn’t hear a word she was saying, her head filled with thoughts of Jiang Qing.
Gao Hongbo’s death was indeed sudden, and it was publicly stated to be due to an illness, and he did have diabetes. This explanation wasn’t implausible. Everyone just felt sorry for his sudden passing, especially since he was retiring next year and died at this ti.
But stating he died of an illness might deceive outsiders, yet it would never fool Ning Ge, especially since Gao Hongbo had hidden away his darling Jiang Qing, that lunatic. With Gao Hongbo dead and Jiang Qing missing, there must be sothing fishy here, Ning Ge thought.
