Cheng Yaozu brought a few people back to the house that the old man had given to Cheng Su. Cheng Su saw that everywhere in the house was clean and bright, without much dust, and even the bedding was neatly arranged, which ward her heart.
This was also the Cheng family’s way of looking after her. Otherwise, a house like this that was hardly lived in would have been three feet deep in dust by now.
"Thank you for helping tidy up," Cheng Su said with a smile to Cheng Yaozu.
"Is it fun to say that? You left the key with in the first place, and I hired soone to clean it, so I didn’t even have to tidy it up myself," Cheng Yaozu shrugged.
Mother Qi and the others listened nearby, slightly surprised. From the sound of it, was this house actually Cheng Su’s?
"Why don’t you all take a rest for now? I’ll head back to the company first and pick up Xiao Ya," Cheng Yaozu said, seeing the group looked travel-weary. He then considerately addressed the elders, "Uncle and Aunt, you must be tired from the train ride too. Wash up and rest for a bit. I’ll co by in the evening to take you out for dinner. The old man said to make sure to treat you well."
