"What mission?" Qi Taiguo oh-ed.
"In Xiangxi, a gang of tomb robbers has erged, extrely vicious and cruel. They’ve killed several local villagers and two policen. The local Public Security Bureau has requested our assistance in the apprehension," Long Shaoguang briefly explained.
Qi Taiguo nodded thoughtfully, "You don’t want to go?"
Long Shaoguang bit his lip, his voice tinged with sha as he whispered, "I, I really am not a qualified soldier."
His words also indirectly told Qi Taiguo that he didn’t really want to undertake this mission.
"Co on, as soldiers, we don’t get to pick and choose our posts. Even if it ans death, we must obey orders. I’m just letting off so steam," said Long Shaoguang as he patted Qi Taiguo’s shoulder.
"That’s perfectly natural. After all, it’s your first ti being a dad," Qi Taiguo said with a smile. "Here’s what we’ll do: you go ho and wait; I’ll go ask Regintal Commander Mai to see if I can take this mission for you."
Long Shaoguang stared at him in astonishnt. "You’ll take my place?"

"No problem; I’ve been feeling full of energy lately, just looking for a chance to get so practice," Qi Taiguo said with his eyes narrowed.
Long Shaoguang opened his mouth to refuse, but thinking of his wife’s swollen belly and her struggles to turn over at night, he gritted his teeth, "If Regintal Commander Mai agrees, brother, I owe you a big favor."
