Tears stread down Du Liya’s face. She simply couldn’t accept what she was seeing.
Li Xiaoi’s cheek began to swell. Huddled in Shen Zhengfeng’s arms, she trembled and said softly, "Du Liya, it’s not what you think. You’ve misunderstood."
Du Liya was furious. "I misunderstood? Then why are you two still wrapped up in each other’s arms?"
She might not be clever, but that didn’t an she was an idiot!
Li Xiaoi started sobbing. "I was in trouble, and Zhengfeng was just helping ! Du Liya, you already stole him away from . He married you. Can’t you even let him help out a little?"
Shen Zhengfeng snapped back to his senses. He carefully helped Li Xiaoi settle onto the sofa, rembering that she had just had a miscarriage and was still recovering.
He glared at Du Liya. "Xiao i was in trouble, so I ca to help her. She’s all alone, and life isn’t easy for her. Besides, you didn’t see us doing anything. Why are you making such baseless accusations?"
"But—but look at the ti! A man and a woman, alone together... and you’re telling nothing happened?!" Du Liya trembled with rage, her head buzzing and her thoughts a complete ss.
On one hand, she refused to believe her husband was cheating—she couldn’t bear the thought.
