Gong Ruini feels like her life now is just a big, miserable ss.

She knows her physical strength isn’t great, but there’s no need to rush this much. At least give her a little ti to adjust.

The problem is, not only does Zhao Guangran keep pushing her from behind, but even her own father, Gong Tao, thinks Gong Ruini needs proper exercise.

Watching everyone unanimously approve of Zhao Guangran’s suggestion, she is utterly confused. Is this really her own father?

Is this really her own mother?

Is this really her own brother?

How is it that everyone is selling her out so smoothly? Don’t they realize that Zhao Guangran is just seeking revenge?

Why can’t they see that Zhao Guangran is just retaliating against Gong Ruini? But what does it matter, Zhao Guangran is right, their daughter/sister indeed lacks exercise.

"You really need more exercise. I spoiled you too much before; I can’t do that anymore," said Cai ina, who had previously only hoped that Ni Zi wouldn’t fall sick so easily, without demanding too much more.

As Gong Ruini’s health improved day by day, higher expectations erged, such as whether she could get even healthier.

Gong Tao was actually scared by Gong Ruini’s condition that day. Even Zhan Jing said that Ni Zi was walking as if she were exhausted, which isn’t a good sign, especially for such a young child.

So Gong Tao decided not to indulge Ni Zi anymore; she must at least start exercising. Besides, this girl is eager to make a fortune, wanting to earn more. After the spring begins, she plans to climb mountains daily to plant and gather herbs, which will require a lot of physical endurance.

Rather than letting his daughter push herself to exhaustion and potentially cause bigger problems, it’s better to have her start training now.

Gong Tao originally didn’t want to ntion it, fearing his daughter would cause a fuss, but seeing her pouting, he couldn’t help but express his thoughts.

Ugh, exhaustion could cause fundantal damage. Hearing this kind of rhetoric, Gong Ruini was almost fainting. All she did was walk a bit too long, covering a bit more distance; how could it result in such severe consequences?

But since this could harm her foundation, Gong Ruini couldn’t just brush it off, especially if it ant that without exercising, her plans to go up the mountains to make money in spring might not be possible.

What Gong Ruini has been eagerly awaiting is the chance to save up so private funds. If her health doesn’t permit her to work, then all the waiting would have been in vain.

More importantly, it would delay many things, and she’d lose hope of securing that first pot of gold.

Thinking about this made Gong Ruini feel an icy chill in her heart. For the sake of a bright future, she needs to push herself; being a wealthy second generation isn’t easy. If she doesn’t push her old man and the others to work hard and make money, they might not even consider it.

"Fine, I’ll train well." For the sake of Grandpa Mao, she’ll endure it. Moreover, it’s good to have a healthy body for anything she aims to do.

"That’s good." Her dad felt proud because his daughter is so understanding. A little explanation, and she’s got it. "From now on, you run with your brothers during the day, and I’ll take you running at night."

Even though you shouldn’t rush, Gong Tao figured that more exercise would lead to more improvent. Besides, Ni Zi usually lacks physical training.

Seriously? Gong Ruini puffed her cheeks; she had agreed to work out more, but did her dad really have to be this urgent, dividing it into morning and night?

Gong Ruini felt deeply that she was just courting disaster, and no one would pity her.

Zhao Guangran looked delightfully at Gong Ruini’s look of silent outrage. That’s how it should be. "Brother, what should be the punishnt if soone fails the assessnt?"

Zhao Guangran rembered that they discussed the assessnt earlier, but not the punishnt, which was his main point in suggesting it.

Ahhh, she knew he wouldn’t let this go. Gong Ruini looked pitifully at Zhao Xuran. The adults wouldn’t butt in, as long as Zhao Xuran could keep these mischievous ones in check.

If it weren’t for so many people watching, Gong Ruini would really want to appeal with self-pity. But now wasn’t the right ti; she just hoped Zhao Xuran wouldn’t be too harsh.

"Brother Xu Ran, I’m a girl, still a child." She needed to fight for her rights, afraid that Zhao Guangran would suggest competing with her, which would really be a no one’s pity mont.

"I’m also a kid." Zhao Guangran felt Gong Ruini was shalessly bargaining, daring to say such things. Why didn’t she ntion being a girl or a child when she was acting so aggressive before?

"You’re a boy," said Gong Ruini, arguing for less punishnt and not caring if Hua Miaozhu was there; she couldn’t not fight for her rights.

And so the two children started bickering, with Zhao Gang and Gong Tao having no intention of intervening. With the major tone set, it was up to Zhao Xuran to decide.

Zhao Xuran watched the two bickering, feeling rather helpless. "Alright, calm down a bit, or else the punishnt will be heavier."

Upon hearing this, both Gong Ruini and Zhao Guangran quieted down. No choice, it’s a matter concerning their interests.

Though they said nothing, their eyes were still battling, which made Zhao Xuran smile.

"Alright, since Ni Zi’s health isn’t great, we’ll mainly focus on training for now." Zhao Xuran emphasized that testing now would likely lead to Gong Ruini facing punishnt every ti, which wouldn’t be fair to her.

What? Zhao Guangran was furious; their elder brother was clearly biased, favoring Gong Ruini outright.

"Didn’t big bro ntion that as long as she trains well, she can pass any test?" Zhao Guangran angrily brought up Zhao Xuran’s previous words related to the test again.

Brother Xu Ran’s words were inspiring; hearing sothing that leaned towards her made Gong Ruini want to cheer. But for restraint, she held back her laughter, not noticing Zhao Guangran nearly jumping with anger beside her.

"Of course, there will be a test. I’ll check the elentary school students’ criteria for passing their physical exams. If you don’t pass, you’ll be marked unqualified, and Guangran, you can set the punishnt criteria, okay?" Zhao Xuran wasn’t biased; he knew his brother was lively, eager to properly penalize Gong Ruini and see her struggle.

Zhao Xuran didn’t think he was too harsh. Only by doing this can Gong Ruini try her best, avoiding laziness, silently working out to avert these penalties.

Now Zhao Guangran was happy; setting the punishnt criteria was his job. Hahaha, he had to think of an impactful way to ensure Gong Ruini has a profound experience.

Oh no, letting Zhao Guangran call the shots, Gong Ruini was really going to faint. She knew better than to expect anything from the sly fox. Now she knew; all previous good behavior was just to stab her hard later.

Sigh, Gong Ruini looked at Zhao Xuran with lant, thinking he’s excessively unfair; they could never be friends again.

"If I were to set it, the punishnt might be even harsher." Zhao Xuran hinted that his attempts wouldn’t be minor, definitely heavy enough to make them regret.

Hearing Zhao Xuran’s words, Gong Ruini recalled Zhao Guangran’s penalties when he failed tests. Knowing this precedent, she dared not complain anymore and decided to behave.
