Amidst the tears, joy, and anxiety of many examinees, Zhao Gang and Gong Tao got completely busy.

Every day, they would leave early and return late to check if any animals had fallen into their traps, and they continued setting snares. As for the yellow garlic chives in the cave, they were sold off once every two days to exchange for money.

Gong Ruini knew that the family was making a big plan, but she didn’t expect that they would give such a good place to Da Zhuang.

"Giving such a good place to Da Zhuang is also a good thing. Besides, since we’re not here, instead of letting soone else benefit from those connections, it’s better to give them to Da Zhuang," Cai ina explained to Gong Ruwen and Gong Ruini why they would let Da Zhuang take over.

"Now, Da Zhuang is helping out without charging any fees. Moreover, he’s quite capable," Cai ina added about why they were letting Da Zhuang co to help now.

Gong Ruini wasn’t against letting Da Zhuang take over their affairs in the future. When they all left, it would be good to leave them to Da Zhuang. In the future, if they needed to purchase things when they ca back, there would be soone willing to provide supplies.

For example, in the future, if they went to Beijing to be traders, Da Zhuang could provide them with goods, but this should be ntioned when they were about to leave. Isn’t it a bit early to say now?

Seeing her little daughter looking reluctant, Cai ina tapped Gong Ruini’s nose. "Your father and the others might go to Beijing to look at houses at the end of the month. What about the yellow garlic chives in the anti?"

"Are we supposed to rely on ourselves to sell them?" Cai ina wasn’t unable to go out, but wondering how much she, as a woman, could manage to carry out if she didn’t use the village’s ox cart.

"Besides, with Da Zhuang here, whatever prey he catches belongs to us." Cai ina knew Da Zhuang was an honest and simple man, but she hadn’t expected him to be so straightforward.

Could it be? Gong Ruini was startled by what she heard. "Doesn’t that an we’re taking a big advantage?"

"Yes, who else would do this, and your Uncle Zhao plans to ask the village if it’s possible to buy a house, so we can return to the village in the sumr." Cai ina felt that once they left, there was no need to co back, but since Zhao Gang and the other family heads said so, what could Cai ina do even if she disagreed?

Oh, buying houses here? Aren’t they village property? Even if Li Jian Country wanted to nd fences with them these days, he wouldn’t possibly sell them this house. What would the villagers think?

"Zhan Jing said if agreed, she could return in the sumr during her studies to treat villagers and also guide any children in the village who wanted to learn dicine." Anyway, Cai ina didn’t understand why things had to be so complicated, even Zhan Jing was willing in various ways.

This promise is significant. With this commitnt, they might have to travel back and forth between two places every sumr for at least the next few years.

But let’s say this: even though it’s tough on soone, the results are remarkable. "If we co back, we can collect herbs here and transport them to Beijing to sell."

The purchase price for herbs in the Northeast might not be high, but it’s a different story in Beijing.

"If things go smoothly, we can purchase goods from villagers and sell them in Beijing or to the provincial capital," Gong Ruini imdiately understood the intricacies involved.

"And then we can buy pork here, go hunting, and make preserved at." Although shuttling back and forth is tiring, the benefits are imnse. Getting cheap at and finding a way to make money.

Purchasing herbs? Cai ina hadn’t thought of that, but hearing Gong Ruini’s plan, it really seed well thought-out. "Beijing, being a large place, certainly has high demand for herbs."

Even if it requires so travel costs, as long as the price difference is sufficient, they can try it out.

Zhao Xuran was standing with Zhao Guangran at the doorway, listening for quite so ti before quietly returning to Zhao Gang’s room.

Zhao Guangran was quite stunned by what he heard. "Unexpectedly, Ni Zi is so smart."

"She’s always been smart." Zhao Xuran wouldn’t admit he was also surprised by Gong Ruini’s words. Honestly, he had guessed so of his parents’ plans, and they had explained why they were doing this.

But Gong Ruini managed to figure out so much on her own, how could one not be amazed?

Zhan Jing was tidying up things, packing away items they wouldn’t use, and also getting ready so things Zhao Gang would need for his trip to Beijing.

When the brothers ca in, she hadn’t noticed initially, but after overhearing their conversation, she found it strange. "Who are you talking about being smart?"

"Who else could it be but Ni Zi?" Zhao Guangran wasn’t unhappy about Gong Ruini being smart, but the smarter she was, the more incompetent he felt.

Is Ni Zi that clever? Zhan Jing found it peculiar that her sons would even discuss this. Were they just trying to kill ti?

"With ti to think about these things, why not help pack?" Zhan Jing, knowing the house had a lot of stuff, wasn’t expecting it to be quite so much, which startled her. Sorting through things left Zhan Jing with an aching back.

Seeing the kids idle and discussing such matters, she quickly put them to work helping her pack.

"Mom, you don’t know." Packing luggage? Zhao Guangran really didn’t feel like packing. He had been busy organizing his little bundle the past couple of days, which wore him out.

Having finally gotten so ti to relax, Zhao Guangran was unwilling to continue working, knowing he hadn’t been able to rest well for quite a while.

Does she not know? "Then tell ." Zhan Jing wiped so sweat off her face and sat down. Oh, they say having sons is beneficial for doing labor work, but none were as endearing as having a caring daughter.

Gong Ruini, though a skinny little child, after knowing they were moving to Beijing soon, lingered around Cai ina every day, asking what things needed packing. Though just a girl, there weren’t many places she could help, but her loving nature encouraged a responsible son.

Zhao Guangran rattled off the details of the situation. "Mom, big brother says Ni Zi is really smart."

No way, Ni Zi managed to guess all the intricacies? Zhan Jing was indeed shocked. So plans were conceived by the couple themselves, which they hadn’t even ntioned to Gong Tao, but Gong Ruini guessed them.

Zhan Jing really wondered how Gong Ruini’s mind worked to be so smart. Even Zhao Xuran hadn’t figured so things out without hints from their parents.

"An incredible girl," was all Zhan Jing could say since she couldn’t find the words to praise her more.

An incredible girl indeed, though Zhao Guangran was indifferent. Currently, Gong Ruini seed smarter than him, but his brother said boys matured later. Perhaps by the ti he started junior high, his grades would surpass hers, and then his parents would praise him.

Looking at his indifferent younger brother, Zhao Xuran shook his head. "Oh, my silly little brother," he thought. "Forget trying to talk sense with him." Living in a family with a smart child like Gong Ruini was already tricky enough.

Zhao Xuran wouldn’t want his brother to grow clever, leaving him unable to tornt him. And with Zhan Banxia and Zhan Zisu growing harder to ss with as they got older, Zhao Guangran’s worth really shone.

Thinking of this, Zhao Xuran decided he should treat Zhao Guangran better, as bullying him too much could leave him without any victims in the future.
