Miao Cuihua lay on the bed, truly puzzled, "Why do you think your mom just got sick all of a sudden?"

Clearly the last ti I saw the old lady, she was in great health, "Your mom was quick with her words when she insulted others."

Miao Cuihua actually thought it would be better if the old lady just completely collapsed, at least the family could save a lot of trouble.

Although her husband never listens to his mom’s nagging, he still has to show so respect from ti to ti, and then give a little money after so pleading of poverty. Though their current situation is decent, giving so isn’t a big deal.

The key issue is that after giving the money, so still feel it’s not enough, complaining in various ways, how could Miao Cuihua not be annoyed?

"Who knows, if soone hadn’t helped today, who knows how that shaless fellow would have pinned bla on us." Rembering the scene at the ti, Gong Zhuang was furious.

Constantly bullied at work, upon returning ho, he plans to regain his stance, calculating this and that all day long.

Gong Zhuang isn’t hard on Gong Qiang, which annoyed Miao Cuihua. This ti, soone actually stepped up to help speak out; if no one did, wouldn’t their family have to take a loss?

"Stay away from them in the future. Your brother becos more and more disgraceful, and those nephews and nieces of yours, don’t bother with them either."

Miao Cuihua didn’t care for Zhang Lan at all. Yet, she still took the kids to the hospital to visit grandma a few tis. Gong Xiaoyu and the others were raised by Zhang Lan herself. Now Zhang Lan has collapsed, and yet, they don’t seem very eager to visit her in the hospital.

"Each and every one is an ungrateful wretch." Miao Cuihua completely denied Zhang Lan’s ability to educate children.

Those so-called good children from Zhang Lan’s mouth, truly were unbearable in every way. Miao Cuihua really had no expectations for how Gong Qiang’s future would turn out. But since they’re not her children, she wouldn’t comnt further.

"Why care so much, they aren’t our kids." Gong Zhuang didn’t have the ti to concern himself with other people’s children, not even his nephews and nieces. With that ti, it would be better spent thinking about ways to make money.

"Let our son and Ni Zi interact more when there’s ti. They’ve changed a lot after not seeing them for years," Gong Zhuang sighed deeply.

They had said Gong Ruini and the rest, raised in the Northeastern Rural area, must have a strong farr vibe when they ca out, but looking at Gong Ruini and them standing there, it was just pleasing to the eyes.

Although Miao Cuihua didn’t want to admit her own children weren’t as good as Gong Ruini and the others, she truly could only say her own children couldn’t be compared to them.

"The way they eat and speak, you wonder why they’re like that, as though they ca from a distinguished family." Miao Cuihua had never seen children from a big family, but her dad had.

"Have you seen them?" Gong Zhuang, surprised, wondered how his wife would know.

Seen them? Where would she have seen them. "Heard it from my dad. Tell , who did Ni Zi and the others learn from?" Miao Cuihua knew the Cai Family’s situation couldn’t possibly be of distinguished origin.

"Do you think it could be a friend of Second Brother’s friend?" Miao Cuihua recalled that Gong Tao insisted on going to the Northeast mostly because he had friends there.

Gong Zhuang wasn’t very sure, "Maybe."

"If our kids grew up with Ni Zi and the others, would they be better off?" Gong Zhuang used to think having enough food and clothing was enough, but now he’s seen more and has higher expectations.

What’s that supposed to an? Miao Cuihua knew doing so would be good for her children, but the thought of not seeing her son for a long ti made her uneasy, "I disagree."

"The kids are too young, being apart from us for long, they wouldn’t have feelings for us." No matter how successful the kids are, it would be aningless without strong ties with them.

"Besides, do you really think Second Brother and his family have ti to take care of our kids?" Although the families are getting along well now, troubling them with such things should be avoided if possible.

Alright, Gong Zhuang admitted that his wife’s last words made a lot of sense, "Fine, forget it. Have the kids co back tomorrow, let Ni Zi help tutor them, they just think about playing every day."

Gong Zhuang himself didn’t have good grades during his school days, and for him, just passing exams was the biggest victory. However, now that it’s his children’s turn to study, he has higher demands, not expecting them to top the grade but at least not be too poor.

"This ti, Ni Zi got first place in the entire grade, and even attends one of the top primary schools in Beijing. Rui Wen isn’t bad either, attending a good middle school." Sigh, once Second Brother got into college, his kids imdiately seed promising.

"If Second Brother finds an even better job in the future, I wonder if Gong Qiang will be so angry he spits blood when he finds out." Back then, pulling Gong Tao down was just to make sure he wouldn’t surpass the so-called Gong family’s eldest.

And now that so-called eldest of the Gong family is just a big joke, even now Gong Qiang has been pushed to a corner.

"Second Brother’s future prospects aren’t bad, didn’t you hear Gong Ruiwen let slip a word? They’re living in a large courtyard house in Beijing." Even if Miao Cuihua was foolish, she knew from that slip that the family they’re living with must be quite sothing.

Dear heavens, Miao Cuihua genuinely felt a bit jealous of Gong Tao. Everyone said once he went to the Northeast, he was utterly down and out, but looking at Gong Tao’s journey, there’s absolutely no sign of him living a fallen life.

"Your brother is definitely going to regret it a lot later." Miao Cuihua was really curious about what kind of expression Gong Qiang and the others would have when they found out how Gong Tao is living now, it must be quite amusing.

They’d definitely be furious, though Gong Zhuang didn’t wish to see that scene, or at least not yet, "Don’t you dare tell anyone."

"My Second Brother keeps all sorts of guards against them." Gong Zhuang was fortunate he didn’t shalessly cling to Gong Tao back then; otherwise, he wouldn’t be having a good ti now.

"Of course, I know." Miao Cuihua rolled her eyes at her husband; she may show off occasionally, but she wasn’t stupid. She knew what could be said and what couldn’t.

"Alright, let’s sleep, oh right, why didn’t you go to the hospital?" Miao Cuihua yawned, ready to sleep. After preparing so much food and the room, she was quite tired.

But just before bed, she suddenly rembered sothing crucial: that Gong Zhuang, who planned to drop Gong Ruini off and then head to the hospital, never actually went to the hospital.

Miao Cuihua was stunned, and so was Gong Zhuang, "Ah, I forgot."

Oh my, who knows how Gong Qiang and the others would criticize him.

"Are you still going?" Miao Cuihua asked cautiously.

Go back? At this hour, "What for, I’ll go back tomorrow, as long as Gong Qiang and the others are there it’s fine." Zhang Lan having major surgery, God knows when she’ll wake up, might as well let those two perform well. As for what comnts he might receive, Gong Zhuang didn’t care.
