Gong Ruini lay in the warm and cozy blankets, yawning and wanting to sleep.

After a tiring day and being full, she just wanted to sleep, and Gong Ruini felt that as a child, there was no need to hold back.

Just as Gong Ruini was drifting off to sleep, "Hey sis, you shouldn’t offend Brother Xu Ran in the future."

Gong Ruwen hesitated for a long ti before expressing his thoughts about Zhao Xuran, worrying that their family’s constant trouble with Zhao Guangran might offend Zhao Xuran.

Offend Zhao Xuran? Gong Ruini didn’t understand why Gong Ruwen would say this, but she said, "I would never dare to offend him."

A sly old fox; Gong Ruini avoided him as much as she could, especially after witnessing his ruthless behavior. Only soone crazy would cling to him.

"Brother, you should worry about whether he holds grudges." Gong Ruwen must have noticed sothing about Zhao Xuran, otherwise, he wouldn’t have said this.

After being in the Northeast for so many days, Gong Ruini had heard Gong Ruwen complain about Zhao Guangran’s troubleso behavior, but never about Zhao Xuran.

Now suddenly hearing Gong Ruwen complain about Zhao Xuran ant there was definitely so backstory, which excited Gong Ruini.

Previously feeling bored and wanting to sleep was just due to lack of exciting news to share, and now, being able to share Zhao Xuran’s embarrassing stories, there was no way Gong Ruini would miss this.

Seeing the eager gaze of his sister, Gong Ruwen felt a mont of regret, not daring to discuss this matter with his sister.

What to do now? Gong Ruwen was at a loss, not knowing how to distract his sister’s curious eyes.

"Brother, you’re not trying to avoid this issue, are you?" Gong Ruini hated when soone stopped talking halfway, leaving her curiosity hanging.

Seeing his sister’s eager face, Gong Ruwen, despite his regret, could only try to find a reason to brush it off.

Gong Ruwen’s idea was good, but was Gong Ruini so easy to brush off?

In no ti, Gong Ruwen was forced by Gong Ruini to recount what he heard Zhao Xuran say indoors.

What a troublemaker, and still so young. Gong Ruini reaffird her idea of never offending Zhao Xuran, wondering how much more cunning he would beco in a few years.

Gong Ruini glanced at Gong Ruwen, knowing that no matter how subtly she tried to influence him, her brother could never be as skilled as Zhao Xuran.

But thinking about it, if her older brother truly beca so cunning, it would be the end, better to remain honest and straightforward.

Moreover, Gong Ruwen was soone with his own ideas, not so easily swayed or incited.

"Brother, you should also rember not to offend Brother Xu Ran." Gong Ruini thought it best to remind her brother, to avoid future troubles with Zhao Xuran.

How worried was his sister about him? Gong Ruwen looked at her anxious face, "You still don’t know . I won’t quarrel with you, but it’s you who needs to be cautious."

"Don’t worry, I won’t be so reckless anymore." Having suffered once, Gong Ruini was determined not to make the sa mistake again, reassuring she wasn’t that foolish.

After talking for a while, Gong Ruini lay down in the warm kang, feeling her eyelids heavy, and soon her eyes drooped.

Gong Ruwen initially didn’t notice Gong Ruini had fallen asleep, lost in thought about whether learning from Zhao Xuran would make his sister admire him a bit more.

Gong Ruwen often felt he had no status as her brother in front of Gong Ruini, and thankfully Zhao Guangran was the sa; otherwise, Gong Ruwen would be distraught.

Zhao Guangran probably constantly thought about regaining face, while Gong Ruwen always thought about making his sister admire him.

After pondering for a long ti, Gong Ruwen realized he couldn’t beco as skilled as Zhao Xuran; he simply didn’t know how.

Gong Ruwen considered asking his sister about her expectations for a brother, turning to find she was already sound asleep, deciding to wait to ask later.

Watching his sister’s sleeping face, Gong Ruwen yawned and drifted off to sleep.

Although he hadn’t helped his sister do chores these past two days, sitting indoors made him restless, especially after Zhao Xuran’s high demands yesterday, which greatly frightened Gong Ruwen.

Fortunately, today his sister passed the challenge, although she admitted it was her fault for hitting first. But to a protective brother, if not for Zhao Guangran provoking her, would it have happened?

In Gong Ruwen’s eyes, his sister was always good and wouldn’t do sothing so rash unless provoked.

Cai ina watched the siblings both fall asleep and planned to write a letter to her brother. But upon holding the envelope, she didn’t know what to write, worried if her brother would even receive it.

If her younger brother had indeed gone to beco an educated youth, the letter might end up with the Cai Family, and Cai ina knew how they’d react.

Even though the distance was vast, Cai ina didn’t want to stir up trouble, "Should I not write this letter?"

Gong Tao entered with a towel to wash his face, overhearing his wife’s dilemma about writing a letter. "Why write a letter?"

Hadn’t they previously decided to act as if they never received it, why write back?

"It’s for Cai Ming, he’s going to be an educated youth." Cai ina gestured with the letter, asking Gong Tao to take a look.

Ah, a letter from her younger brother? Despite his dislike for the Cai Family, Gong Tao had so fondness for this younger brother-in-law.

Foregoing washing his face, he took the letter to read, feeling puzzled, "Isn’t it too soon to be sent for reeducation?"

In recent years, with returning educated youths losing hope of returning to the city and hearing news of the hardships of land reclamation, no one would willingly choose reeducation in a heat of passion.

Their brother-in-law wasn’t the age to attract attention to beco an educated youth unless soone was behind it.

As to who was behind it, aside from the Cai Family’s eldest son and daughter-in-law, Gong Tao couldn’t think of anyone else.

As for his in-laws agreeing, it relied solely on the eldest son’s connections, a decision Gong Tao wasn’t surprised by.

Despite being a son, the Cai Family’s younger son was as unpopular as Gong Tao was in the Gong Family.

"Let’s hope your parents won’t regret this in the future." Knowing Cai Ming as a loyal person who’d rember kindness and grudges alike, Gong Tao hoped his in-laws wouldn’t regret such a foolish move.

Regret? Cai ina honestly doubted her parents would ever regret, "To them, the eldest son and grandson are more important than anything else."
