Yu Shuo got out of the car with his just-hung-up phone, scanning the apartnt building before him, as Spiritual Power slowly began to emanate from his body.
He was using his abilities to search the area, hoping to find Jiang Hanyi’s location by sensing familiar auras.
"Search it! Don’t miss any residents on each floor!"
Jiang’s father commanded, and the bodyguards around quickly began to take action.
Yu Shuo’s Spiritual Power was limited, and after searching the building in front of him, he had already consud a lot of it.
He spoke to Jiang’s father: "Uncle, there’s no need to search this floor, Hanyi is not in there."
"Are you sure?" Jiang’s father asked.
"I’m sure!"
Yu Shuo’s voice was firm, his expression serious.
With that, he turned to search the next building.
Jiang’s father imdiately called back the bodyguards from the previous building, directing them to search other floors.
He wasn’t certain about Yu Shuo’s abilities, but today’s events, especially the old master’s reaction, kept him grounded in reason.
The old master’s trust in the girl who held his hand earlier, along with his strange attitude towards Yu Shuo, made it clear to him that the situation was not simple.
Most importantly, Jiang’s father knew that his own father would never joke around about his most beloved grandson.
No matter how worried he was, he wanted to find his youngest son in the shortest ti possible.
He had a faint belief, deep down, that Yu Shuo was right.
The Jiang Family bodyguards spread out in all directions, looking for the young master’s whereabouts.
Such commotion alard soone in one particular building, where a room shone with dim light.
If anyone entered, they would certainly be overwheld by the bloody scent in the room.
The thick sll of blood made one involuntarily feel nauseous.
There were three n in the room, dressed in black, who were the ones that had taken Jiang Hanyi away.
The sound of fists and kicks, a dull thud, echoed inside.
Two tall n stood in the corner of the room, continuously kicking the bloodied person beneath them.
Each kick elicited a faint sound from that person.
This person was none other than the brought captive, Jiang Hanyi.
Since his capture, he had been enduring inhuman torture, utterly unable to fight back.
With his mouth gagged, Jiang Hanyi held his head in his hands as the two n beat him, his body curled up in pain like a shrimp.
Blood dripped from his mouth, seeping through the cloth, as he made weak, dying sounds.
Beneath him, a pool of blood had already ford.
"They’re coming!"
The lookout by the window, seeing the Jiang Family downstairs, quickly turned to inform his companions still at work with a hushed tone.
With those words, the two n inside stopped their actions.
They swiftly went to the window, looking down at the many bodyguards below, a flash of vicious malice in their eyes.
"We’re retreating!"
One of them said, and the two n beside him quickly nodded.
The three of them crouched, leaving the windowsill, and paused as they passed by the bloodied figure in the corner.
"Should we clean up?"
The one who suggested retreating spoke.
The man on his left glanced around the room, spotted a large stone not far away, and went over to lift it, stepping towards the barely breathing boy in the corner.
As the stone fell, it struck the boy’s chest.
Once faintly breathing, Jiang Hanyi’s body completely relaxed, no longer able to stay curled like a shrimp.
Seeing this, satisfaction filled the three n’s eyes.
With the person dealt with, their task was complete, now they just had to head back to collect the other half of their paynt.
They quickly left the room, climbing down the wall at the back of the building, their three figures quickly disappearing into the darkness.
