"What’s going on? Tell us! Just watching Liu Zi catch fish is making us anxious!"
"Yeah, what’s happening? Why aren’t we catching fish, but Liu Zi and ng Fan can?"
The group of buddies gathered quickly when they heard Zhang Yang calling.
Zhang Yang didn’t hesitate, stood up, and pointed at the light spot in front of ng Fan and Liu Zi: "Everyone, look at the light in front of Liu Zi. What’s different from ours? This thing is making the difference!"
"What’s that? The brightness doesn’t seem different!"
"Why are you beating around the bush? Just tell us the answer!"
The group still didn’t understand what Zhang Yang ant and scratched their heads in confusion.

The brightness of the three laser beams combined created a large spotlight in the middle without any dead spots. As long as bait was thrown into the center of the light spot, the bobber showed noticeable activity.
Six people focused on two nests, the efficiency of catching fish was several tis better than each working individually; now everyone could catch fish.
"Wow, it really was as you said, boss! Finally, we’re fishing; heck, I’m freezing!"
Han Qiang released a big crucian carp into the net, shivering but delighted.
"Should we set up so nests? Since the brightness of the light matters, I guess setting up nests would have an effect too!" ng Fan couldn’t help suggesting.
"We’re idle anyway, so let’s try. I have half a bag of pure shrimp powder in my tackle box, shall we mix so scatter bait?" Han Qiang said while getting up to fetch items from his tackle box.
"I have rice for making wine!"
"I have base material!"
The group hadn’t planned on setting up nests, but each had so supplies in their tackle boxes. They quickly gathered enough materials to make nest bait.
With materials ready, it was now a question of mixing them; the issue naturally fell to Zhang Yang.
Zhang Yang studied the base materials everyone brought and quickly made up his mind.
With cold water, fish don’t eat much, so heavier wheat germ shouldn’t be added too much. Rice for making wine works well in cold water, serving as the main bait.
The fresh shrimp powder has the fish’s favorite scent this season, is light, fine, and scatters quickly in water attracting fish without feeding them, speeding up gathering and keeping them.
With that analysis, a plan ford.
Using lightweight bran mixed with pure shrimp powder as the main part, adding a small amount of wheat germ as the structure, and blending in a suitable ratio of rice for making wine to attract fish to the nest, a special scatter bait for early spring cold water fish was made.
Having prepared the bait, Zhang Yang tested it himself first, grabbing a small lump and pressing it onto the hook. Once in water, it quickly spread smoke, with a few rice grains falling, the scatter bait being very fine, feeling and performing perfectly.
With the nest opened, each buddy received a box of bait and got busy quickly.
With a few worms on the hook and a small scatter bait pinched onto the hook handle, they casually cast the rods, both creating nests to attract fish and grabbing bites, waiting for a positive fish response.
As the saying goes, finding the right approach doubles the catch; over half an hour, everyone worked in groups of three using small scatter bait, and fish biting noticeably increased again.
Fishing at night with the light and small scatter bait couldn’t match the rapid action of dayti, but everyone was quite content.
On average, they could catch a dozen or so fish per hour, which was already pretty good given the season and weather.
So, they fished from after 9 PM until midnight, when the battery alarm sounded and the brightness decreased, before packing up and heading ho.
Subtracting the ti spent exploring the fish situation and preparing, they fished for about two and a half hours, each angler ending up with twenty-sothing big crucian carp. That fish catching was quite satisfying.
Frozen and shivering, the group packed up their gear and got in the car, leaving the fish net still on site without lifting it.
