And just like that the countdown ended but the countdown was only for the passing grade.
Now Ved was doing it for the extra marks. The black death poison was very persistent. It took too long to dissipate through the air and when it did Ved just released more.
And just like an entire week passed. Ved knew he could keep this up for ages. The black death could last long enough for his poison sack to fill back up.
So he didn’t have to worry about running out of poison any ti soon. Another week passed, then another and weeks turned into months.
Then a second month, a third, a fourth and eventually over an entire years had passed. Ved slept most of that ti and let his poison do the work.
Eventually he decided to stop. ( Congratulations to challenger for passing the trial of Dragul.) Ved expected another trial.
His vision shifted and he found himself in an extrely huge throne hall. A projection of a beautiful dark skinned woman appeared infront of him.
" Greetings challenger and congratulations on completing the trial of Dragul." The woman bowed towards him.
Ved recognised her voice, she sounded like the voice he heard during the trials but less robotic.
’ And you are?’ She did a curtsy in his direction. " I am the tower spirit, created and designed by the great king of beasts to assist his successor and my new master."
’ I was asking for a na but okay, so does that make your knew master?’ Ved asked excitedly.
However her answer shattered his joy imdiately. " No, although you passed the trial you are yet to inherit the king’s true inheritance."
He sighed, he got too excited too early. ’ And how do I get this inheritance?’ " You have to place a drop of your blood on that throne."
She pointed at the huge throne at the end of the hall. ’ That’s its? It’s that simple.’ She gave him a strange look.
" I don’t think the trial was designed to be easy." Ved nodded, she was right, he was just overthinking things, he had already passed the trial.
He approached the throne but just before he placed his blood on it, he stopped. ’ Before we proceed, could you show my grades on the trial?’
She smiled softly." Ofcourse." A transparent blue screen appeared infront of her with his results shown on it.

Ved was surprised by the c on his speed, he thought he did really well there but apparently not as well as he thought.
However considering the level of beings those trials were designed for, he could proudly say he did really good for himself.
That doesn’t an he would be able to match people of that level in real life, the trials did not permit the use of essence energy after all.
There will be no such rules in a real fight. Ved was still satisfied with his performance though. He then proceeded to place a drop of his blood on the throne.
It lit up in red light and afterwards he felt a connection to it. He recieved a flood of information on what the throne could do in his mind and it was a lot.
This thing didn’t just give him authority over this tower but the entire minor world. With this throne he could control all of the formations on the minor world.
Well, all of the formations related to the minor world, not independent formations. He could instinctively feel those formations through the connection.
And he knew he could shut them off or turn them on anyti he wanted. However he did not do this since he didn’t know what they did yet.
The throne didn’t give him any information on that. Fortunately there was a library on this tower and he knew how to get there.
A few minutes later he was in the library with a book floating in from of him. It had details on what each of the formations did and how they worked.
The one he focused on the most was the defensive formation. As long as it was activated it would strengthen the world barrier.
Prevention a situation like last ti where people can barge in whenever they want. Ved wanted to activate this formation but he would need to replace the essence stone on it.
Essence stones were crystallized forms of super condensed essence energy. Usually created on mountains due to the essence being under imnse pressure and heat between rocks.
However the next formation drew his attention. It was called soul nourishing formation, sothing personally invented by the beast king.
It sole purpose was to nourish the souls of beasts before and during bird, the effect get lower the stronger or older a beast get.
According to the book, the formation was ant to strengthen will but it ended up assisting in prematurely creating soul force instead.
While unexpected the results were still satisfactory. It was common knowledge that, with the exception of the really powerful and high grade beings, others are only ant to awaken soul force upon reaching rank 4.
However Ved noticed there were too many beasts with soul force while only at rank 2 in this minor world, this explained that anomaly, ofcourse, before, he thought this was normal.
The formation strangely remained active until this day without having to be replenished at all which was a testant of it incredibly high grade.
There was also a formation which could allow him to teleport anywhere inside this minor world.
Besides that, there were other books, a lot of them. He saw a book titled Insight into cultivation. He skimd through it and it detailed the cultivation realms.
He swore to co back and read it later. There were other books, from history books, compendium of beasts, herbarium etc.
However the most valuable were the lineage books. A bit of reading gave him an idea of a what a lineage is.
Lineages were basically cultivation techniques for beasts, in ancient tis, beasts depended on their passive absorption of essence to cultivate but this was extrely slow.
Not to ntion it made it impossible to break through certain realms due to their low bloodlines for so beasts.
This ant they would be left behind by the human race which used to be lower than them. The beast king saw this and using other races as blue prints created the first lineage.
Ved clicked his tongue in admiration, ’ This beast king guy was super aweso wasn’t he? And I can’t use a lineage. I think I hate my body.’
