When the drop hit the ground, it splattered gently. The sound of water hitting stone echoed through the land, heard by all that lived within it range.
Then ice exploded, a wave of ice and snow spread out faster than lightning itself freezing everything that lived and that did not.
The beast army did not even have the chance to scream before turning into ice statues.
The storm of ice and snow did not stop. Like an uncontrollable avalanche it continued spreading out.
The human cities and villages were strangely spared from the fate of turning into ice statues and strangely enough.
So were the spiritual beasts villages. This was deliberate on her part, and only possible because of her current state.
The storm spread for over 20 thousand kilotres. This was exactly the size of her domain as if everything was within her calculations.
The entire effected area turned into a land of ice and snow. Dark clouds covered the sky with snow falling gently over the land.
Naledi touched her nose and mouth, blood was leaking out of both of them. She smiled softly.
" Worth it." Her second phase, soul force and Ruler’s Authority all deactivated at the sa ti.
She wobbled on her feet, her mind beca groggy and she fell on her back but before she touched the ground, two soft hands grabbed her.
" Damn girl, that was super aweso." She saw Cat grinning at her, the forr beast army stood around frozen like statues.
Eternal reminders of the challenges faced by her people. Unbeknownst to either of them, so day far in the future, this would beco a massive tourist attraction.

At the sa ti.
Ved knew this technique, he had read about it and knew if he let Vermilion use it, this fight would be even more one sided.
So he used every ounce of speed he had and appeared Infront of Vermilion like a shadow.
He flooded every cell in his body with nuclear energy and lightning, including first order extinguishing tribulation lightning.
He was trying to do sothing he had never tried before. Use his own body as a bomb. The energy condensed inside him becoming very unstable and reactive.
" Vessel Awakening Second Phase: Phoen.." Vermilion did not even get to finish his sentence before Ved blew himself up.
Energy leaked out of his body like streaks of lights painting the world blue and purple. The sky quaked and shook before he even detonated himself.
Then he did, a wave of nuclear energy and lightning exploded out, it turned into a massive blue purple pillar that connected heavens and the earth.
The pillar expanded out consuming everything in it path, the land and the sky shook from it power.
The barrier failed to hold and shattered. Those holding it did not even get a chance to scream before they were swallowed by the expanding pillar of energy.
Vermilion was consud by it as well. The pillar barely expanded for 10 kilotres when it t the wave of ice and snow.
They clashed, reaching a stand still for a mont, the world shook between them. A wave of dense mist spread out in every direction covering hundreds of kilotres.
They both relented. The pillar of destruction stopped expanding outward and the storm of ice and snow did not enter it domain only circling around it to freeze the land around it.
An area 20 kilotres in diater was left unfrozen, at it centre was a 10 kilotres wide lava pool of unknown depth.
Even the sky above that region did not have a single cloud. The place was surrounded by mist for a hundred kilotres in every direction. It was going to be yet another wonder of the world, historians and archeologist will spend their lives formulating theories on how it ca to be.
After the explosion, Vermilion ca out looking miserable. The attack was powerful enough to damage him.
Half his arm was gone and he had cracks running through his leg with blood pouring out.
A golden fla appeared above his hand and he used it to light himself up. When the flas touched his wound, the wounds started healing rapidly.
This was an ability he learnt when he reached rank 4, not a single living soul knew he had it because the need for it never ca.
After all, how many things could hurt him in this world? He looked around and everything was surrounded by thick mist.
Below him was a vast pool of lava, he couldn’t detect a single living creature in his vicinity.
He clicked his tongue in annoyance, he did not expect Ved to pull that stunt. After checking if there was anybody hiding nearby, he left.
However after he left, deep within the mist three people appeared. A mirror shattered and a woman with a bow ca out of it looking miserable.
She looked around and ran off, at another place, a dark pool spilled out of the ground and from it ca out a ghostly looking man.
He coughed up blood and conjured a dark horse then rode it off in another direction. Not far from where he ca out, a giant red rose blood from the ground.
It petals opened up and out ca a woman wielding a whip. Under the rose, deep within the ground was a pool of human blood she had planted here earlier just in case, she was now glad she did.
" Hell, I’m not dealing with monsters like that again, I almost died for real." Her eyes held a deep fear, she looked around anxiously and when she saw no one she sighed and disappeared into the mist as well.
However what none of them saw a massive creature flying above them heading for the lava pool.
The creature released a joyous screech when it saw lava of this quality. This was the best lava it had ever seen, a shell on it back opened up and a house sized ore fell into the pool.
This was it species farming thod. They can plant ores using lava, how fast it grows and how good the quality of the ore was, was determined by the heat and purity of the lava.
Lava of this quality will yield the best ore it had ever had. Then it dove into the pool itself and sank tens of kilotres below.

Deep within the mist, a few kilotres away from the lava pool. A massive amount of energy gathered on a single point. The air cracked like glass, pieces fell off and dissolved into energy.
A small crack appeared in the world, no wider than a hairs width. Sowhere in a dying world, a figure sitting on a throne opened his eyes and looked beyond the crack then closed them again.
