The dragon was massive, over a hundred tres long. It looked like a green eastern dragon with antlers. It eyes were blood red, red electric arcs shot out of them.
Ved knew this type of lightning, it was a third order extinguishing tribulation lightning, fortunately only it eyes were made of that lightning.
The dragon roared and lunged at Ved, it was fast, too fast for him to react in ti. His shields shattered one after another like they were made of glass.
Before he could react he found himself soaring through the air, a wave of pain hit him and he saw his scales flying through the air, broken.
It turned and looked at him, he knew it was about to attack again so he fired a nuclear beam at it.
The beam cut through the air like a spear, it was so fast it reached the lightning dragon in a blink of eye.
Just when he thought the beam was going to land on the target. The dragon flickered and disappeared.
Ved opened his eyes wide, he couldn’t understand how sothing so large could just vanish, then it appeared right Infront of him. It massive red eyes looking directly into his.
Ved crossed his arm and tried to retreat, it slashed it claws at him. His arms broke and he was sent flying back even faster with blood flowing out of his mouth.
Ved was about to leave the boundary of the cloud when his instincts kicked in, he felt a sense of impending doom.
Even his image appeared for a split second. He knew he couldn’t allow himself to be thrown further away from under the clouds domain.
However that was easier said than done. The dragon was too fast and too strong. He flapped his wings to stabilise himself but his body continued flying back.
Fortunately he managed to stop himself just before leaving the domain by creating a massive wall of wax behind him. He flew back in, trying to get as close to the centre as possible.
That way he would have more room to get kicked around like a ball. Ved concentrated, trying to track the dragons movents through his soul sense.
The dragon moved, it body turned into a streak of green light. All his eyes saw was a blinding flash.
He was able to capture it movents through his soul sense for a split second but that did not matter.
Being able to see it didn’t an he would be able to counterattack, it was still moving too fast for his body to react.
The massive dragon bit him and dragged him towards the edge. Ved noticed what it was trying to do and panicked.
His spikes glowed and flas exploded around him. A cloud of blue fire spread for hundreds of tres around him.
The explosion was powerful enough to force it to open it mouth giving Ved the chance to escape.
He wrapped strings around it body, the strings started burning the mont they touch it body but before they could burn completely, he used them to swing himself above it.
However just as he was about to fly past it, it swung it tail. A massive green tail ca at him from below and hit him on the stomach.
Ved felt air leave his lungs, the scales on his underbelly cracked and he shot up to the sky throwing up gastric acid and blood.
Ved gritted his teeth, he felt helpless, the fight was way too one sided. The only trait usable to him was his regeneration.
Infact if he wasn’t using soul force the situation would’ve been worse. Ved looked at the dragon below him and wondered what the goal here was.
Then he noticed sothing, the dragon was smaller, the difference was not large, barely a few tres smaller but it was more than enough for Ved.
He didn’t know why, maybe it was because he attacked it with his nuclear flas or sothing else.
He will have to figure it out. ’ This will hurt.’ Ved stopped and floated in the air for a second then dropped towards the dragon like a javelin.
He activated herculean strength and flash to their full capabilities. The dragon shot up like a streak of light.
Ved roared and punched. The air quaked and ignited Infront of his fist. The dragon attacked with a palm.
The mont the two t, Ved felt his bones crack, then like dominoes his entire arm started shattering.
He shot back to the sky uncontrollably at a blinding speed. Knowing he wouldn’t be able to stop on his own he created a massive shield above him.
His body broke through the shield like it was fragile glass and continued shooting up towards the liquid black cloud above.
He gritted his teeth and created more shields above him. Then made hooked chains using his wax.
The chains shot to the ground but he had forgotten how tough the tower is. The hooks bounced off the tower roof.
’ Shit.’ Ved cursed. However he didn’t panic, the shields managed to slow him down. The hooks turned into web and stuck to the tower.
Although it would not be as secure as latching hooks, it was still better than nothing.
It was a good thing he rembered he could shift between wax and web as he saw fit. Then he stopped mid air, held down by the chains.
The wax chains changed into web, it was more flexible and elastic. The web chains stretched like strings then released.
Ved shot down like an arrow, he fired multiple nuclear blasts at but the dragon dodged, flas lit the world blue.
It turned into a streak of light and appeared to his side. Before he could react it slashed him drawing a massive gash on his side, blood spilled out and his ribs stood exposed with cracks running through them.
He gritted his teeth, spun and slashed with his tail like a whip but he was still too slow. He suddenly found himself falling to the ground like teor.
When he hit the cold dark floor, a massive shockwave blasted out, he felt the air leave his lungs and he coughed up blood.
He looked up only to see a streat of green falling towards him like a ray of light. He tried creating a net around himself but before he could it was already upon him.
Lightning exploded and green electric arcs filled the air. The entire tower shook and Ved’s scales cracked, his bones shattered and he watched as one of his arms flew through the air.
However he was grinning with bloody teeth and blood was leaking from his mouth, nose, ears and even eyes yet he was still grinning.
That’s because he had confird it, everyti it took action, the dragon would get smaller.
That ant there was no need to defeat it, he just had to outlast it. ’ Do your best sucker.’
