Before they went on their hunt, he sent one avatar back ho for safety reasons but also to inform the others of the hunt.
It was ti the world took the initiative against the herald. After that they flew to New Ice Lotus City.
They floated above the city unmoving. " Are you okay?" He asked. She nodded, " Yeah yeah I’m fine."
" Good, should we go down?" She shook head nervously. " Maybe this is a bad idea, we should just.."
He cut her off. " They’re your friends, I’m sure they’ll be happy to see you." She looked at him nervously.
" Are you sure, I did abandon them you know?" She laughed nervously. He smiled at her showing his massive sharp teeth.
She nodded and they flew down, the mont they landed in the middle of the city everybody turned and looked at them.
The city grew quite, he smiled softly, their reactions were understandable, he was after all a massive dragon, the dreaded beast of vengeance.
It was normal for humans to be so scared they can’t even react when he just landed in the middle of their city.
However the next scene caught him off guard. " It’s lady Naledi, lady Naledi is back." The entire city bood with joyful voices.
" Look look she’s with the dragon king." One girl shouted. More female voices followed after hers.
" The rumours were true." " What rumours?" " Don’t you know anything? There are rumours that the two of them are an item.
It’s so romantic it’s like a fairytale, the dragon king and the ice cold princess, oh my goodness I’m so envious."
Ved ignored those over enthusiastic won, he looked around and realised he was so big the houses on this city were like toys to him.
He transford taking his human form but doing so seed to have ignited the passion of gossip from those won.
" Oh my God he’s so handso as a human." He turned and looked towards the woman and smiled.
" Look look, did you see that? He smiled at , the king of beasts smiled at ." While he was recieving admiration there were others watching him from the shadows.
A man wearing a hoodie turned and walked away, neither Ved nor Naledi paid him any mind.
The man went to a secluded alley, there was a house with a wooden door that looked old. However those with discerning eyes could tell the door was covered in runes.
He knocked on the door in a strange rhythm. " Reveal yourself lost soul." A voice ca behind the door.
" I am a lost child longing for a warm embrace, when the crimson rise, ashes shall fall and the world shall be pure once more."
The door opened and a man with a red mask appeared. " Co." The hooded man followed the masked man inside.
They went down spiral stairs into a dark underground base. There they found many more people in black hooded robes wearing masks.
The man took out his mask and wore it. " What news do you bring for us brother?" A feminine voice asked him.
" The prophesy my sister, I believe it drawn near." He replied with excitent. " When the heart once frozen beat once more and the king that hides hides no more, crimson shall rise and chaos shall ensure."
One of them, a large man whispered in a deep voice. " Are you certain brother? Tell us what you saw."
The sister couldn’t contain her excitent. " I saw them sister, the child of winter smiling and besides her stood the king of beasts, unhidden in a city of humans.
This could only an one thing, the prophesy is coming true." They all started laughing.

Ved and Naledi on the other hand faced another dilemma. They were standing face to face to the leaders of this city, Naledi’s friends.
They were watching him with vigilance besides Cat and her mother Cathra. Cathra smiled gently at him.
He rembered that motherly smile of hers. " Cat told sweetie, I’m so sorry for what happened to you."
He shook his head. " Don’t be aunt Cathra, look what ca out of it, a dashingly handso dragon."
She laughed " I’m glad." The others on the hand started talking to Naledi asking her how she’s been.
She answered all of their questions with a smile but guilt could still be seen hidden behind her eyes.
Suddenly the Asian dude whose na he learnt was Haruko clicked his tongue and walked off.
Cat tried to stop him but Naledi shook her head. " So you’re saying there are three children of the herald of plagues and the two of you have taken care of two."
Aira asked them as they sat around a table in what looked like a eting room. They both nodded.
" And you want us to help you track down the last one and once they’re dealt with the plagues and disasters with disappear."
Ved shook his head then nodded. " Yes and no, what causes theses plagues and disasters are the dark particles created by the children of the herald.
Once they’re gone no new dark particles will be created but those that are already out in the world won’t disappear instantly.
While I don’t know how long, the plagues and the dark winter will continue for a while after their deaths."
They all nodded with understanding. " What are we waiting for then? Let go kick so children’s ass."
Cat stood up and flexed her muscles. Cathra rubbed her temples. " Honey, sotis you should think before you talk."
" No that sounds boring,so when are we going?" Naledi giggled, Ved couldn’t help but smile when he saw that.
They continued talking for whole the set out, armies of both beasts and humans spread out across the world searching for the last child of the herald.
An entire year passed without any signs of said child, eventually they started believing there was no such person but Ved knew.
He knew the child was there, if Manas said there was, then there was. The human armies started retreating slowly.
Their search slowed down but the beast started searching even harder to compensate.
For them, if their king said to search, they will search even in vain they will still do it for eternity.
As the search started slowing down on the human side, in a forest of dead trees sat a massive minotaur.
He was chewing the corpses of three humans, Infront of him were the two children of the herald that Ved and Naledi defeated.
