He felt the claws dig through his scales as the hawk grabbed him. He scread but no voice ca out and without question the ruthless killer took to the skies with him in it claw.
His little feet flailed in the air in his desperate struggle to get free. He was bleeding profusely on both sides of his body and the pain was mind numbing.
Then it dawn on him, he was not a normal lizard, there was no way he would die here to the beak of this flying chicken. He drew every drop of poison in his sack with all the willpower he had.
He muttered a silent prayer hoping the poison could seep through pores as he couldn’t afford to wait for it to eat him for obvious reasons.
He secreted all the poison he had through his back, due to the berries it was no longer transparent but dark purple instead and much more potent. Less than 4 seconds later the hawk released a loud painful screech but instead of loosening it grip it tightened it.
The claws dug deeper into his body almost puncturing his organs then it fell. It dropped from dozens of tres in the air still clutching him on it claw then hit the ground with a bang.
Fortunately the fall did not harm him but even so he was not very far from death. His wounds did not stop bleeding. The only good thing was that it released it grip upon hitting the ground.
He crawled towards it, it was still alive but was completely immobilized. He bit into it thigh and swallowed at and feathers alike. He did not have the luxury to pluck it feathers.

’Yes’, he whispered weakly in his mind, he was no longer bleeding, as his body grew to it full 20 cm size the wounds naturally stopped bleeding but that was not enough to save him.
He had already bled enough and that blood was not regenerated by his rapid growth. He hoped this evolution would heal him. ’System initiate evolution.’

anwhile, sowhere in the world in a continent once known as Africa, a beautiful African woman with light brown skin and curly afro was walking alone on the street when she suddenly turned around an alley.
In that alley three brute looking n were harrassing a woman pressed against the wall. The woman looked terrified but they did not care and continued harrassing and laughing at her.
"Now, if you small d**k pricks would stop harrassing that lady I might consider not killing you". The three crooks turned around when they heard her voice.
"Oy pretty lady that no way to talk to people, didn’t your mama teach you manners?" The one who looked like their leader asked mockingly.
There was no change in her expression, her eyes looked cold and distant. "How about this, we will let her go if you promise to satisfy us tonight, brothers what do you think about that?"
He asked his two friends who nodded with lecherous gazes locked on her. Suddenly they noticed a ring on her finger. The leader sneered.
"Don’t worry, I promise we’ll satisfy you better than whatever fool you married," they all laughed. Suddenly for the first ti there was a change on her face.
Her cold eyes sohow beca colder, before any of them could react at all,her body flickered and appeared behind them.
Their bodies turned to ice statues imdiately, their laughter and lecherous gazes still etched on their faces then they shattered into fine ice particles. They died before they could even know what happened.
The other woman looked terrified, she flinched when she turned her eyes towards her. "Please, please don’t hurt , I won’t tell anybody I swear."
"Tell whoever you want I don’t care." She said and left the alley. "Give your strongest whiskey," the woman said to the bartender then snatched the bottle from his hand when he tried to pour her a glass.
"Can I have a martini please?", a beautiful voice said next to her. She turned and looked at the newcor. It was a blonde woman with almost pale white skin.
She had a beautiful motherly smile on her face. "You can’t keep drowning yourself in alcohol Naledi, you’re young and have long life ahead of you" she snatched the bottle from Naledis hand.
"Leave alone Cathra." "I see you still wearing that ring, Naledi you have to stop, you can’t keep beating yourself up over what happened.

"Maybe you’d understand if you lost sobody you love," she regretted those words as soon as she said them. Cathra eyes held a hint of sadness.
"I’m...I’m sorry I didn’t..." "I know sweetie, it fine, I promised your mother I’ll take care of you, so stop making my job hard, also it aunt Cathra to you young lady." Suddenly sobody else stord into the bar.
It was a woman around the sa age as Naledi and looked like a younger version of Cathra. "Catheliya, what gotten into you?" "Oh mother, you’re here too, I was looking for her" she pointed at Nadeli.
A group of n in military gear stord in after her, stood in order and did a military salute. Catheliya took the bottle from her mother and drank it all at in one go.
"This taste like sewage water" she suddenly pulled out a gourd from between her breast, it was a wonder how it even fit there. The soldier imdiately put on gas mask as soon as they saw that.
Cathra tried to stop her but she had already opened it and took a few gulps then moaned in pleasure. "Oh, yeah, I wanted to tell you there’s a 2nd rank beast approaching."
Naledi sighed, "more work I guess," they followed the soldiers out. the mont they left, everybody in the bar swayed and fell, having been knocked out by the re sll of her alcohol.
