Pulse and White surrounded the witch of a hundred faces. " Oh oh my, I did not expect this."
She giggled, " It seems you already knew we were coming, can I ask how?" She turned and looked at Ved.
He looked back at her with his soul sense then replied. ’ You may not.’ White attacked imdiately.
A spear of lightning shot at the witch of a hundred faces faster than she can react. It pierced through her head and sent her crashing on the wall.
" You are as dangerous as the rumours say little White." She laughed, Pulse was about to attack her when she noticed there was no blood.
Having been stabbed in the heart she was supposed to be bleeding but she wasn’t.
" Sothing’s wrong." Pulse whispered.
The hot headed White didn’t care about anything other than killing the woman Infront of her.
Her body blurred forward and she stabbed her hand into the chest of the witch of a hundred faces.
But when she did she noticed the problem too. Her body felt like a sponge and the blood she had expected to dirty her hand was not there.
The Witch of a hundred faces giggled, " We will et again little White." Then she looked at Ved.
" Again, truly a pleasure to see you again king Ved." Then her body dissolved into purple mist and disappeared.
In a forest outside of the main city of the beast kingdom. The Witch of a hundred faces appeared in a puff of purple mist.
She took a deep breath and looked towards the huge black tower standing at he centre of this minor world.
Her face was covered by fear and worry, she had barely escaped because when she failed to kill Ved with her first attack she imdiately created a clone.
She had attacked his eyelid which was supposed to be weaker yet her dagger that can cut through the toughest tank 5 steel couldn’t even leave a scratch on him.
What she didn’t know was that if she had attacked him before he faced the herald of nightmares she might’ve been able to wound him with that dagger.
However after being so close to certain death, the closest he had ever been, his image strengthened him.
Strength through survival was it defining trait. He thought that only applied if he was physically wounded but he was wrong.
As long as he was close to death and ca out alive. His body would grow significantly stronger than before.
Now he was certain there was not a single being in this world with a body stronger than his.
Not when Linglong who was a true dragon instead of an evolved one like him. Before she was stronger physically.
But now, his body was much stronger than hers. It was only natural sobody with the physical strength of the Witch of a hundred faces can’t harm him.
What he wondered was how much physical enhancent Naledi received from that encounter.

At the centre of the New Ice Lotus City, a man in a black robe with a hoodie stood Infront of the massive palace.
Infront of him was a group of people standing vigilantly. " Vermilion, i would advise you to reconsider.
Even with you strength, do you believe you can really take on all of us?" Aira asked him coldly.
However anybody could hear the hesitation in her voice. Sobody clicked their tongue, they all turned and looked at White.
She took a few gulps of her alcohol then burped. " What the hell are you all talking about? Let just kill the ugly bastard and be done with it."
Vermilion laughed, " You’re quite unruly aren’t you Miss Catheliya? However you are right, this is pointless.
You are wrong about one thing though, I’m not the one dying today." The mont he finished he attacked.
His red fan blazed with flas and he waved it at them. A red fiery serpent flew at them with a mouth wide open.
Ndu stood forward with his shield and blocked it. Cat kicked off the ground and lunged at Vermilion.
Aira shook her vessel, the bird cage lit up with golden light. Before Vermilion could react arrays lit up on the ground around them.
The next mont he found himself standing on an empty island. The change disoriented him allowing Cat to catch him off guard.
Her fist connected with his face, blood flew and he shot back like a missile. He crashed on the ground tens of kilotres away creating a massive crater.
He stood up and wiped off the blood.
" Blade of the four seasons: Spring Breeze." He heard Haruko whisper.
Wind brushed against his face and the next second Haruko appeared behind him sheathing his katana.
Thousands of cuts appeared on his body. He has no ti adjust himself before his body was cut in half by a mantis.
Siri blew her flute calling back the mantis. Vermilion roared, " Phoenix Flas Endless rebirth."
He shouted, golden flas covered his entire body, his two body parts joined together healing him.
He waved his fan creating a flaming boar. The boar galloped toward them shaking the ground and leaving pools of lava with each foot step.
Cat grinned, she took a few gulps of her alcohol. Cold blue mist rose from her body, " That’s good wine."
She shouted then kicked off the ground and lunged to et the boar head on, her fist shook the sky.
The coldness aminating out of her froze everything within tens of kilotres, her punch t the tusks of the boar.
The world stood still then the boar exploded into flas particles, she didn’t stop and attacked Vermilion as well.
He sent waves of flas her way forcing her to dodge. Two demonic beasts appeared next to her sent by Siri.
A massive polar bear and wolf. Each with the power to control ice. They fired ice breaths at the flas weakening them enough for Cat to go through them.
Vermilion gritted his teeth, a flaming giant appeared behind him and punched Cat. She returned the punch.
When their fists t she was sent flying back with a broken arm. She greeted her teeth.
Grenade light covered her arm healing her, she thanked her mother. General Ndlovu appeared and attacked the giant with her.
With both of them working together they were able to keep the flaming giant at bay leaving Vermilion to the others.
A massive golem of sand appeared, next to was a winged scorpion. They attacked Vermilion.
With a casual wave of his fan he lted the sand giant turning if into glass and forcing the scorpion to retreat with burnt marks.
Set and Ahmanet appeared as well, more and more people showed up and surrounded him.
" To think such a noble man would betray his ho for the darkness that seek to destroy it."
A nun with pure white eyes whispered with sadness. She was the second in command of the pope.
They rarely ever interfere with the world affairs unless they need to. So even considered them as strong as the Buddhist temple.
While admittedly the church was strong, those who knew the truth knew that the existence of the Golden monk made that impossible.
The nun held her cross with both hands and prayed. Projections of angels made of light appeared.
An entire battalion of angels with different weapons. They turned their shining eyes at Vermilion and attacked as one.
With them were the attacks of the others, droves of projection realm ca to face the sa man.
Even with his strength, Vermilion was struggling to hold on. He had to depend heavily on his phoenix flas to keep healing himself.
The one who hadn’t attacked was Aira, she had been channeling her mans into her vessel this entire ti.
Vermilion obviously noticed this as well but she was defended and he couldn’t get close to her so he couldn’t really stop her.
General Ndlovu and Cat took care of the flaming giant and attacked him again. He used everything, his soul force and all.
Yet he still struggled to hold on. He created a flock of fire birds and sent them to face the army standing against him.
While nurous, his birds were weaker individually. Taking care of them did not take too much effort.
" Enough." He roared and took to the skies, they chased after him but couldn’t catch up. Standing high above the clouds he looked down on them.
He raised his hand and flas gathered above him. They grew larger and larger and in a blink of eye they grew so large they looked like the sun.
A ball of fire dozens of kilotres in diater appeared above him. The world turned gold with it presence.
Whisps of flas shot out of it incinerating everything they touched. The golden flas made everybody vigilant.
He looked down on them with contempt she smiled mockingly. " Congratulations, you’ve done a great job in angering . Now you can all die together."
He was about to throw the golden ball of fire when another golden light, one brighter than his sun appeared.
Before he could react he found himself trapped in a golden bird cage. Chains ca out of nowhere and bound him.
His golden ball of fire was snuffed out like a candle in the process. He looked down and saw Aira smiling.
He roared with rage and struggled to no avail. Seeing him trapped everybody relaxed.
" How long are you planning to remain hidden benefactor?" Everybody suddenly heard a deep yet calming voice.
