The silver beam of energy hit the giant head of the avatar from behind. Unfortunately it failed to pierce through.
It pushed the avatar and sent it crashing on the sea below. The sea churned and evaporated as the dragon breath burnt it.
The dragon breath beam lasted for half a second before it was shattered by the ancestor.
His avatar flew back and attacked him but Ved was expecting that, he folded his body and used his wings to block.
The attack rattled his internals and made him cough up blood but the divine weapon wings on his back managed to block it.
He shot back thousands of kilotres and crashed on an island shattering it to pieces. Hundreds of other island had been destroyed by the shockwaves of their clash.
Those below comprehension realm had ran to hide at the furthest corners of this inheritance world.
The rest were not even paying attention to the fight, they could tell whoever were fighting could not pose a threat to them.
Ved imdiately got up and flew back at the ancestor. He tried to will his fourth order extinguishing tribulation lightning.
However the fourth order extinguishing tribulation lightning had been rged with his dragon breath.
It was one of the reasons his dragon breath was so powerful but since he only a little of it, he could no longer use it.
He clicked his tongue and used black death again, after losing a single avatar ( notice, not the sa avatar as the law avatar.) he had grown weaker.
He couldn't afford to get close to the ancestor without risking permanent death so he used black death in its fog form.
A cloud of black miasma spread out Infront of him and covered the entire battlefield in a split mont.
However even in its condensed form black death could barely hurt his enemy let alone in its normal state.
The ancestor's avatar rely shrugged off the black miasma, he casually sent a wind blade at Ved then turned to face Naledi.
Ved reacted and turned himself into mist using formless shift, the wind blade passed through him and shot to the distance.
It split the ocean in two then disappeared in the horizon. His body reford and he coughed up blood.
A giant blade wound appeared on his stomach, his internals almost spilled out but he held them and sealed the wound with his wax.
The wound refused to heal even with his image and regeneration trait doing their best to close it.
He gritted his teeth and lunged back at the ancestor, Naledi had closed her eyes and she was preparing sothing.
He needed to buy her ti and he was going to do that no matter what. Massive white chains blotted out the sky and danced through the air as they headed for the ancestor.
The winds around the bird avatar were so strong they cut the chains of wax before they could reach their target.
Ved gritted his teeth and searched through his traits and abilities for anything that might help.
He had already used dragon breath and the strongest in his arsenal was his body, he didn't want to do this but it didn't seem like he had a choice.
None of his traits were powerful enough to even sting to his enemy. He used stealth and Formless shift.
He couldn't attack in formless shift but it could allow him to get close without being discovered since he was just weightless mist.
He appeared Infront of the bird avatar and materialised catching the old ancestor off guard.
He opened his mouth and reached for the neck, his teeth were pitch black, he used dragon bite of death again.
But this ti he was stopped by a wall of wind that cracked his teeth. Before he could react a blade of wind cut off his arm.
He gritted his teeth from the pain and attacked again and again. The golden aura of the dragon mage stopped strengthening him.
He had reached the limit of how strong he could get without losing the ability to even move his body.
Yet he continued to fight but all of his attacks were useless against his enemy, his body was constantly being broken.
He was being brought closer and closer to death with each passing mont, that however did not stop him.
The only thought on his mind was to buy ti, his attacks grew more savage and in his rampage sothing awakened inside him.
As he drew closer to death, his eyes lost their spark and all signs of life disappeared from him.
" AHHHHHH." Naledi roared like a beast and tears of hatred fell like a rain of destruction. This made the ancestor smile.
Before either of them could react they heard a growl like that of a savage beast. Ved woke up and he shut his own mind inside his head.
In doing he unleashed sothing that slumbered deep inside him. A dark mist like aura surrounded his body.
The aura of death spread out for thousands of kilotres making everybody inside the inheritance world shake.
Even in this world of ice they felt the temperature drop and a primal fear awoken inside them.
It was as if they were being glared at by a predator none could survive against. Ved's image shook.
The dragon rose up and it seed to be grinning. It flew down to the roots of the Yggdrasil and stood as if guarding the tree.
Then sothing even more inconceivable happened, Yggdrasil tilted over, the leafs and the branches stood below.
The pitch black roots sat above and in their presence the world seed to get darker, light seed to avoid Ved.
His golden eyes turned pitch black like gates to the abyss itself. His wings lost their beautiful feathers and all that was left were bones.
His body seed to lose mass and it grew thinner and longer, all of this happened in a split mont.
"Ved stop, please wake up it's too early, you can't handle it." Manas shouted but Ved couldn't hear her.
Before the ancestor could react Ved stabbed his claws through the avatars chest and roared.

Deep at the centre of the void stood two beings, one was a woman with black and white hair, she was so beautiful she could make existence look dim in her presence.
An aura of creation and destruction swirled around her like ribbons. Life and worlds blood in the void due to her presence then died again and repeat.
Next to her was a man with long dark blue and gold hair, space and ti seed to shift in his presence.
The void froze then accelerated, space expanded and shrunk. The man smiled at the woman gently.
" It would seem your child has co to be sister." He whispered but his voice shook all of space ti.
The woman frowned, " He's still too young brother, oh it would appear yours has awakened too.
Can you hold here? I'll be back." Her body disappeared like it had never been there.

Back in the inheritance world.
As soon as Ved attacked, his body fell and he lost consciousness. The ancestor was about to attack when Naledi took action.
" World Of Stasis." Ding, the sound of a clock echoed across the entire world.
