A powerful aura of a rank 4 washed over the battlefield, Ved felt like he was sinking in a deep swamp of the most vile things in existence.
The weaker beasts curled into balls and shivered in fear, even the other 3 rank 4’s looked tense.
But there was no ti for fear, the old frog was the first to move, his speed far beyond any others.
However before they collided with each other they heard a loud trumpet like sound. Both parties stopped.
Ved turned back to look and far in the distance was an approaching large cloud of dust, behind it was an army of beasts. Leading said army were four powerful beasts.
A giant mammoth, a crow, a monkey and a gigantic turtle that shook the ground with every step.
The battle started before the new army arrived, the vermin numbers had grown significantly more than before.
But it did not matter, his strings ripped whatever was foolish enough to get close. The frog faced one of the black rank 4 ones.
While the deer and hippo faced the other, each of them gave the feeling of a heaven grade bloodline.
The shockwaves from their battle was too intense for others to interfere. A giant grey vermin landed infront of him like a teor sending stone and dust flying.
It looked like a three ard gorilla, each of it hands had four fingers that ended in sharp claws.
It swung it muscular log like arms at him and just before the claws could tóuch him they stopped.
Thousands upon thousands of tiny strings were wrapped around it arms. Ved gritted his teeth, no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t cut through it armour with his strings.
He activated his herculean strength and slapped out, his palm landed on the gorillas chest and sent it body flying like a cot.
It hit weaker the vermins faster than they could react and shattered them into tiny bone fragnts.
His body flickered, just as it stood up he was already infront of it. This ti he stabbed his claws into the sa spot, they failed to piece through but the armour had a small crack.
He knew these things could regenerate their armour and he wasn’t going to allow that. Before the crack could close he stabbed it with his tail.
The crack widened but it was still not enough, it was still alive. He chased after and caught it mid air with his strings then pulled it towards him.
The gorilla vermin was the sa grade and rank as him but it was completely helpless against him.
His body was stronger, his scales more durable than it armour and he had a much stronger will than it, it was completely outclassed in every way.
The difference was so huge he was able to divert so of his attention to kill whatever vermin got close to him, not to ntion using this one’s body to kill others.
He turned his attention towards the others, the old frog was holding his own against the vermin.
It was a giant wolf with black bone scales instead of fur. Bone spurs grew along it spine and it was able to shoot bone spears at the frog.
But that old guy was so fast not a single one of the Wolf’s attack reached him. The hippo and the deer on the other hand were a different story.
Both were young rank 4 and the hippo was even a grade lower. While not at a complete disadvantage they were struggling.
Their opponent looked like nothing he recognised, it was humanoid but with a body so wide it looked a bit squarish.
Giant roots and vines grew from the ground and bound it gigantic body but it broke them with just a wave of it hand.
The hippo’s pulses did not seem to be doing anything. While he was watching the black vermin moved, it attacked for the first ti.
A giant black bone club appeared on it hand and It swung it like a hamr at the deer, it was too focused on binding it body and the attack was too fast, the deer couldn’t dodge in ti.
Ved panicked, if that attack landed things would be bad, the deer might even die but at the very least it won’t be able to continue with this battle.
Just as the club was about to land it was t by a golden tal pole. The collision was so powerful it pushed even the deer back.
When the dust cleared two figures appeared in a large crater. One was the vermin and opposite it was a three tres tall golden monkey.
The monkey was so muscular veins throbbed on it arms and legs. It was wielding a giant golden pole.
It turned to look at the other two then nodded, Ved could sense how powerful the monkey was, no less than the old frog, with it arrival he was assured.
He then turned his attention to his own enemy. Although much stronger than this thing it was incredibly strong as well, especially it bone armour.
Even after cracking it so much he was still not able to completely break through but he was close.
He wrapped his strings around it body, it struggled to break them, not that he could bla it, his strings were very tough.
Then he started hitting in the sa spot over and over again while preventing it from being sent flying away with his strings.
All it could do was stand there and take it, his arms moved so fast they beca nothing but blurs.
He landed dozens of attacks each second, sending powerful shockwave in every direction.
The crack on it chest widened little by little then finally it beca large enough to fit his hand.
He shoved his claw through the gap, black blood spurted out of the wound and he watched as the vermins life faded from it eyes.
During the entire fight this thing did not in any way react like it was feeling any pain. It was very creepy.
Then he turned his attention to White, the little rabbit was having a ti of her life. Her giant hamr flew through the air causing giant sonic booms.
Everyti it hit the ground dozens of vermin died. She waved it around like wand creating powerful shockwaves that killed the weaker rank 1 vermin and so of the rank 2.
Bone and blood filled the air, the crows flew through the air sending blade like wings at the vermin below.
The rank 4 leader created a rain of wing blades so vast they looked like a dark cloud. When the cloud descended thousands upon thousands of vermin died each second.
Whether it be rank 1, 2 of 3 none survived The turtle created a flood of water forming a vast lake around it.
Water tentacles flew out of the lake to grab the vermin and dragged them underneath and the mammoth.
It stomped it giant foot and created a literal mountain hundreds of tres high. Earth spikes shot out of the mountain like spears impaling hundreds of vermin each second.
Each of the leaders thods were incredibly powerful. Then he jumped back into the fight himself.
The only thing that amazed him was that not a single rank 3 spiritual beast on their side had died, just as he thought that he heard a loud roar filled with pain and fear.
When he turned to look he saw the anteater leader impaled by hundreds of grey bone tentacles.
Infront of it was a ball like vermin with a very wide mouth. The vermin was covered by hundreds if not thousands of thin tentacles.
’ Damn it why did I jinx it?’ he tried to rush to help the anteater but it was too late. The vermin stabbed dozens of tentacles into it head.
The light in it eyes died, multiple cries of pain and sorrow echoed through the battlefield from the anteaters.
Even the deer looked angry, he did not stop, he saw the weaker anteaters rush towards the vermin and he knew they were just going to get themselves killed.
He wasn’t going to let that happen, while he didn’t like them for what they did in the past right now they were comrades.
Bone tentacles flew towards him like Spears but were t by razor sharp strings. The strings couldn’t cut the tentacles but they held them in place.
He reached the vermin and sunk his teeth into it, he felt a disgusting taste in his mouth that made him want to throw up.
He couldn’t resist and let go, instead he used his claws to fight. He slashed and grabbed and with his strings holding it in place it was not going anywhere.
His claws turned into a whirlwind of daggers that dug into the vermins bone armour, it armour was not as durable as the gorillas so it did not take as long to kill it.
He saw the gratitude on the anteaters faces and he nodded. After the arrival of the reinforcent the fight did not take too long to end.
The two rank 4’s were killed swiftly, he saw the joy in everybody’s eyes but he was still uneasy and so were the rank 4 experts.
White was jumping and squirking happily next to him but he did not pay any attention to her, his attention was fully on the space rift.
Then two blue hands grabbed the sides of the rift, followed by a suffocating aura that made his blood run cold. ’ Shit, it’s the big boss.’
