" I will tell you but don’t think you won, I just hate breaking a promise, this is because of my own moral integrity not because I’m scared of a little beast like you."
Ved felt like laughing at it shalessness ’ Thank you, that wasn’t so hard was it?’ His tone beca gentler.
" What did you want to know again?" ’ The power system.’ it gave him a strange confused look. " Power system? You an the cultivation realms."
’yeah that.’ he replied. " Fine, you atleast know how many ranks there are right?" He scratched his head with his claw which created sparks even underwater.

The first, second and third rank are simple, there are no criteria for breaking through them except absorbing enough essence but things take a turn when it cos to the fourth rank.
In order to break through one must condense their will enough to effect the world, considering you can use will transmission I can safely assu you can use telekinesis as well.
That ans you have achieved the criteria, all that is left is to have enough world essence to shatter the barrier but I have no idea how you will break through without essence, you strange deformity of the universe ."
’ Is it the sa for humans? They have the sa cultivation system?’ " Not quiet, unlike your kind, humans cannot absorb essence through their bodies.
Which is where vessels such as myself co in. Humans cultivation system allows them to create and soul bond with vessels, they then use those vessels to absorb.."

The cultivation system is a law of the universe, it works with the sa rules, there are no exceptions.

Which is why rank 4 us called will condensation realm, most beasts are limited by their bloodline grades so they never reach this realm which is why they’re nothing but lowly lifeforms."
The disdain in it voice was undeniable, he sighed and endured the insults but then it kept quiet. ’ And what about the rank after that?’
It looked at him like he was stupid " Why would sobody pathetically weak like you need to know that, it unlikely you will even reach that rank in your entire life."
Ved’s face turned dark ’ Tell now or I’ll leave you here.’ " Fine,no need to be so aggressive, all you beasts know is violence, uncivilized at all. The next rank is a bit more special, in order to reach it one must create and paint an image with their will.
The image is a representation of one’s true self, defined and painted by one’s desires and convictions, it’s called the image projection realm.
For beasts their image is usually influenced by their bloodline as any beast is most likely to hold unshakable belief in the blood of their ancestors.
Dragons are prideful and strongly believe in their own might, Phoenix believe their flas can burn anything and the whale girl has the blood of the sea devouring kun.
I’m not too clear on her bloodline but I think their kind believe the sea can drown all things, including the heavens themselves, her image is quite strong amongst rank 5, her belief in her bloodline must be very strong.
The stronger your belief the more powerful your image will be. The next realm which is the sixth rank is called the Image manifestation realm.
That when one’s image becos physical, not just visually like in the projection realm, the image becos real enough that it can physically interact with the world.
It can be used to block attacks or even attack your enemies. Although the power of an image by Itself is not too powerful, it special properties is that it attacks can directly effect the soul to a minor extent.
So each attack from a rank 6 has minor soul demage, the only way to resist it is by using your own image, which brings to another point."
Once it was in the mood it started ranting non stop but he did not stop it. " The difference in power between ranks get bigger the higher up you go.
But there’s are differences in that as well, from the first to fourth rank it’s possible to fight an entire rank above you as long as your grade us higher.
However from fith up things are different, in all of history, there had never been a single being who was able to project an image as a rank four, atleast not a true image.
It’s possible to create a fake illusory image, while it makes you undefeatable at rank 4 it’s still nothing compared to a a real image.
So you see, it’s impossible for a rank 4 to face a rank 5 on their own, the difference in power is too huge.
This is not even limited to the image, the body and soul grow significantly stronger. The sa thing happens when one breakthrough to rank 7 from 6.
Their connection to the world grows significantly stronger than before, their body and soul achieve tamorphosis and they gain a new property becoming higher lifeforms in the truest sense.
Even their lifespan increases significantly higher than before, especially for beasts like you, I can’t even begin to explain the difference...."
It talked so much Ved almost tuned out.
