Before he could react he found his body swinging with his strings. The lobster ramd him into the ground and created a huge crater.
The shockwave was so powerful it briefly pushed the water away before it all ca back rushing in like a flood.
Then it fired an air cannon at him. The ball of wind cut through the water like a missile heading straight for him.
He hastily activated his own haki, the black sharp haki covered his body like a coat. When the air cannon hit him it was cut into countless pieces and disappeared.
The lobster tried to swing him with his strings again but it only managed to drag him a few centitres forward.
The haki traveled through his strings strengthening them and making them much sharper.
It was a pity he couldn’t use haki to strengthen the poison otherwise he would’ve made it work faster.
He couldn’t open his mouth since he was using it to hold the strings so lightning ran across his scales and gathered on his forehead.
More and more lightning arcs gathered. The lobster detected the danger and struggled even harder but breaking free from his haki enhanced strings was easier said than done.
The lightning continued accumulating and condensing on his forehead. This was the first ti Ved did this and he didn’t know what the results would be.
As the lightning grew the temperatures rose higher and higher. The water heated up and bubbled creating rising steam.
Ved felt a splitting headache, holding the lightning together was harder than he wanted it to be.
Seconds passed but lightning continued to gather at the sa spot. Ved was planning to use every single charge he had on his body for this attack.
After a few more seconds he could nolonger hold on and fired the lightning bolt. Billions of volts traveled through the sea like a burning spear.
The bolt of lightning reached the lobster in a blink of eye and hit. The was a deafening sound of thunder and blue light exploded blinding him for a split second.
Kilotres of the sea got charged and shocked everything within including himself but that level of shock was minor.
The lobster took the brunt of everything. It roared and the ocean shook. It giant body twisted and turned, the sea churned but it was not able to break free.
Lightning courses through it body electrocuting it insides, it body spasd and it roared in agony as billions of volts drilled through it like starving worms.
The lightning bolt did not stop, it continued shooting at the lobster like an endless stream.
The sea churned and burnt but the lobster still refused to die. It body continued spasming and it shot it air cannons in desperation.
But they missed and those few that did reach him shattered against his haki like eggs hitting a rock.
A few seconds passed but it felt like an eternity, then the light in the lobster’s eyes died slowly and it giant bus sizes body crashed on the ocean floor.
The lightning had even burnt away his poison but fortunately it was powerful enough to take this behemoth down.
Ved approached cautiously, he could feel the lobster was still alive but it was unable to move.
He slashed his haki infused claws at it head but all he managed to do was leave a small crack, he slashed again and again until the lobster’s cerapace broke.
Then he stabbed the ganglia between it eyes with his claw and killed it. The surrounding sea was still boiling, unfortunately the lobster was too powerful so he couldn’t have boiled lobster.
And he was out of lightning, it would take so ti for his body to regenerate more so he couldn’t even use lightning to cook it, luckily it was already partially cooked.
Before eating it he searched for the first one, the rank 3 lobster and found it before long. His teeth bit into it cerapace and broke of it leg.
Then he sucked off the tender white at inside, this one was perfectly cooked and it was delicious.
He used the salt left on the ocean floor after the water evaporated before it could dissolve into the sea again, he used the salt to season the lobster.
Which seed redundant since he was eating it under the sea. ( Obtained 0.57 evolution points.). It grade was much lower than his so it gave him very little points.
This was one of his biggest worries, if his bloodline grew even stronger wouldn’t he suffer when it cos to gathering evolution points.
He removed those depressing thought from his mind and went after the bigger one. It took longer to finish eating it but he was very satisfied when he was done.
Not only was it more delicious than it weaker counterpart it also gave him a lot of points. This was the first rank 4 he had defeated if you don’t count Pulse.
He counted that fight as his win though so might argue. He was just about to check his status when an annoying voice grinded against his ears.
" You are not bad for a little beast with an inferior bloodline, ofcourse you are way below my holder the great divine deity Gold."
Ved’s ears buzzed but the vessel spirit continued it rant. " With a little bit of training from one as great as myself you might be half as..no a quarter..no 2 percent, that too high.

Ved’s mouth twitched. ’ No I wasn’t going to thank you.’ he thought. ’ And why does Gold’s na keep getting more ridiculous? And I know for certain that " it drained a lot of energy from , weakening greatly" is nothing but a load of crap.’
Ofcourse he didn’t say any of that to it but kept it to his thoughts or this ancient jukebox would never shut up.
Then it said sothing that drew his attention. In a serious tone it said. "In all seriousness though, I find how much you’re wasting your strength disgusting, the way you use your body and abilities is very ineffective. I will train you, be grateful and grovwl towards "
