A thick beam of deep purple energy blasted out from the muzzle, carrying terrifying high temperatures, descending from the sky to strike the protective shield released by the [Devouring Demon Tree].

The silver protective shield didn’t last even a second before twisting and shattering under the energy strike into fragnts.
In the next mont, the residual power of the deep purple energy beam pierced through the three-tis-thick protective tree roots almost instantly.
Then ca the spiritual telekinesis shield, which also twisted and deford in almost an instant, and after holding for one second, finally broke apart into countless translucent light spots, scattering into the surroundings.
The originally thick energy beam lost more than half of its energy after three rounds of consumption, with the remaining energy pouring all at once onto the silver trunk.
The silver trunk was tinged with a purple sheen but did not lt or shatter from the energy. Instead, it lit up once more with a faint silver light.
The head on the crown of the [Devouring Demon Tree] began to lt again, transforming into a massive energy injected into the trunk, forming a silver light defense to counter the energy beam.
anwhile, the silver trunk was bent bit by bit by the energy beam’s impact, tilting toward the ground, and even though countless roots sprouted from the ground trying to hold the trunk, they only slowed down the bending.
However, with this resistance, the energy in the beam quickly depleted, and following this overloaded shot, it lacked the power to continue output.
The trunk of the [Devouring Demon Tree] was only bent halfway before withstanding this wave of damage.
"A full-power strike from a Monarch-level late stage still couldn’t break its defense. But this thing’s heads on the crown, five of them disappeared, ford from condensed energy!"
Whose Exotic Beast would condense energy into head-shaped attachnts? That’s insanely sinister!

This [Devouring Demon Tree] doesn’t know how many monsters and Exotic Beasts it devoured in Red Mist City to upgrade its tier, storing a massive amount of energy in head form.
"Boss, it can’t be scanned. This thing’s tier is too high; the [Wolf King’s] detectors cannot scan a Super Tier Nine Exotic Beast.
Moreover, the imaging devices are blocked, only capable of capturing blurry images.
To find out how many heads are hanging on the crown now, you’ll need to use a micro-detector at close range to count."
Grey Wolf shook his head. Early on, when this [Devouring Demon Tree] burst from the ground, he used the [Wolf King]’s equipnt for a detailed probe.
Unfortunately, nothing was found out.
This is why he used the [Wolf King’s] attack intensity to test this thing’s power levels.
"If you want to capture this thing, it seems you’ll have to destroy its accumulated energy."
The overloaded shot earlier only slightly damaged so roots of the [Devouring Demon Tree] and consud a bit of energy.
At least the heads hanging from its crown didn’t show obvious consumption.
"Boss, the underground laboratory has new findings."
Grey Wolf tapped his claw on the screen, and a probe video appeared before their eyes.
In the isolation chamber where the [Devouring Demon Tree] resides, tiny Insect Robots crawled through the cracks ford by breakages.
And in the projected image at the mont, so special tal emitting a blood-red glow was observed.
"The detector data indicates the gravity inside this isolation chamber is extrely abnormal, at least a hundred tis greater than outside.
Moreover, this blood-red glowing tal seems to possess a special magnetic field that greatly suppresses the growth of organisms within and limits their power.
And the strength of this tal exceeds that of the [Wolf King] today, likely at a Super Tier Nine level."
The Insect Robots, crafted from special tal, are tiny yet exceptionally sturdy. To allow these Insect Robots to fly, they are equipped with anti-gravity devices inside.
Thus, the hundred tis external gravity inside the isolation chamber only ans an increased energy consumption for these Insect Robots.
This probing Insect Robots don’t just scout; their mouthparts also hide so tools.
Yet, after using all the tools, they couldn’t pry off even a bit of tal residue.
In other words, they were completely helpless against this blood-red tal.
Grey Wolf even maneuvered the Insect Robots to the crack in the ceiling broken by the [Devouring Demon Tree], attempting to collect so tal shards.
Yet, it was also fruitless.
Although the [Devouring Demon Tree] tore through the ceiling and ripped apart the tal layer, it only left cuts in the whole tal, leaving no tal fragnts behind.
It was even discovered that this tal has a mory feature and can auto-repair back to its original form!
