The ho planet of the dwarf-like alien race, called Celestial Star, was directly attacked by the enemy with the Red Sorrow Fog, bringing about a genetic mutation across the entire planet.
Every living thing, whether animal or plant, was affected, each undergoing genetic mutations within the disaster.
Even worse were the dwarf-like aliens, as the Red Sorrow Fog was specifically targeted toward them.
While other animals and plants mutated towards higher life forms,
the dwarf-like aliens mutated towards monsters—once the mutation began, they quickly lost their sanity, eventually becoming terrifying monsters, completely losing reason, becoming bloodthirsty creatures.
The upper echelons of the dwarf-like alien race took their families and so elite mbers, fled using interstellar battleships or spacecraft, escaping from Celestial Star into space to avoid the enemy’s pursuit.
The vast majority of the dwarf-like alien race was abandoned on their ho planet, destroyed by the Red Sorrow Fog, until their eventual extinction.
So unconvinced scientists gathered overnight in several super laboratory bases, starting to study counterasures.

But the energy of the experintal base would eventually run out, and when it did, they would still face their inevitable obliteration.
Just to delay death, they let the experintal base operate in an energy-saving mode, which could extend their survival by over a thousand years.
Of course, in the energy-saving mode, they themselves fell into slumber as well.
