The two gluttons tore through the al like a whirlwind. Fang Qingyuan, however, only had a few bites to taste the flavors before putting down his chopsticks.
Once every last dish on the table had been devoured, Fang Qingyuan spoke to a full and satisfied Situ Jingyu:
"Senior Sister, get ready. We’re going out in a little while."
"*BURP*... Where are we going?"
"To listen to so music, dally with the ladies, and pass the ti."
"Huh? Why would you take to a place like that? I heard Master say the people there are no good. He went a few tis and got scamd out of a lot of Spirit Stones, so he never went back."
"I have my reasons. Just trust , Senior Sister."
After so coaxing, Fang Qingyuan managed to get a blushing Situ Jingyu out the door. Then, with Jinbao clutching his bulging belly, he left the residence and headed toward the pleasure district of Black Sand City.
Black Sand City may have fallen into ruin, but its pleasure houses still flourished. In this Land Realm, one could do without anything else, but murder and lust were indispensable.
Red Lotus Square was one of the most prominent architectural complexes in Black Sand City. Protected by an Array, its staggered buildings and rockeries ford a series of secluded courtyards. Under the soft, dim glow of lanterns, the scenery was a hazy mirage of flickering shadows. Upon closer inspection, it possessed a certain elegance.
Fang Qingyuan did not wear a cloak this ti. Visiting such an establishnt while cloaked would make it seem like he was there to cause trouble.
Although he was accompanied by Situ Jingyu, a female cultivator, the people of Red Lotus Square paid it no mind.
Upon arriving at the entrance to Red Lotus Square, Fang Qingyuan’s party was enthusiastically ushered into an inner room. A figure in fiery red then approached Fang Qingyuan, gave a curtsy, and said with a smile:
"My na is Bao Yun, and I am the Steward here at Red Lotus Square. An honored guest graces us with his presence. Is there a particular lady you know whom you’d like to request?"
This Bao Yun wore a light spring blouse and gauze trousers, with a short skirt tied at her waist, giving her a sharp, agile look. She wasn’t particularly tall, but her figure was exquisite. With the slightest movent, the near-exaggerated curves beneath her thin blouse rose and fell in a truly heart-stopping display.
Moreover, the woman was a shrewd judge of character. Although Situ Jingyu had the highest cultivation level, Bao Yun’s gaze remained fixed on Fang Qingyuan. Her eyes were incredibly bold; with a quick flick, she brazenly sized him up from head to toe.
Before Fang Qingyuan could even reply, Situ Jingyu’s expression had already soured. Only after Fang Qingyuan answered that he did not have a favorite did her face relax slightly.
Bao Yun’s next move, however, nearly made Situ Jingyu want to kill the vixen with a single punch. Upon learning this was Fang Qingyuan’s first visit, Bao Yun pressed her soft body against his without a hint of reservation.
The scent of high-grade perfu from her body wafted insistently into Fang Qingyuan’s nostrils. Inhaling the pleasant fragrance, Fang Qingyuan took a deep breath and said quickly:
"Arrange for the finest private room. You may return after that."
After he finally managed to get Bao Yun to withdraw, Fang Qingyuan was trying to suppress the stirring within him when he caught sight of Situ Jingyu’s sullen expression out of the corner of his eye.
Fang Qingyuan gave an awkward laugh and explained,
"This Red Lotus Square isn’t just a simple pleasure house. It’s also the largest network of brokers in Black Sand City. I ca here to discuss a business deal with them. The reason I brought you along, Senior Sister, was to use your presence as a Cultivator to intimidate any troublemakers and save us so hassle."
Hearing this, Situ Jingyu’s expression softened slightly. Then she said,
"You don’t have to explain to . I’ll do as you say. I trust you."
With that, Situ Jingyu took the lead and strode inside. Fang Qingyuan looked at the dazed Jinbao beside him, sighed, and followed.
